1. The sandwich was good, and I love the sliced toast option! The sausage in the kolache had a cheesy filling! Finally, the smoothie was refreshing and blended well!2. A great spot for a quick breakfast or snack!Walked in here on a whim today and am super glad I did. First of all, these are the type of people you want to support. Incredibly sweet and hardworking. I got nothing but kindness and good vibes since the minute I stepped in. I wanted a single donut hole and they gave it to me for free, no charge! They also took the time to walk me through their options and let me know which ones were hot and fresh.The food itself was really great. Their deli options consists of a variety of sandwiches. You can get the sandwiches a few different ways - bagel, sandwich or croissant. I opted for a ham, sausage and egg bagel sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! Such a simple sandwich but made to perfection. Sandwiches are around $6 which isn't too bad. They also have a ton of baked goods like donuts, cinnamon swirls, muffins, etc.They also have an extensive drink menu. A lot of options here! Big parking lot makes it easy too.Go support your local Mom and Pop shops!

The prices were ridiculously HIGH and the quality has gone down so has the portions their donuts are a lot smaller now too.. I do not recommend this place.

This place is absolutely delicious and has so many food selections along with the best donuts in town! The owners are a sweet little married couple and they are so sweet and friendly every time you come in. I eat here at least twice a week because it is my favorite place! My two favorites are the glazed donuts and the bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich. My friend likes the mango Boba smoothie. She makes it with fresh mangoes and tops it with whip cream. And yes they are open during Covid

I drop by Tasty when I am in the area, and I don't feel like waiting in line at Donuttery. Its located on Bushard in the same strip mall as previously reviewed O'Connell's. Its much better vs highly touted Seaside in Newport Beach, bc the croissant is larger and has more fillings.In addition to coffee & tea, Tasty has a wide selection of smoothies w/ boba if you like. IMHO, this is the 2nd best donut shop in HB.

I don't eat donuts, so yes, very weird that I decided to write a review of your basic neighborhood strip mall donut shop. My motivation was a recent OC Register piece of the top 10 OC donut shops, at least in the opinion of the Reg's Restaurant Reviewer; https://www.ocregister.com/2020/08/27/review-where-to-find-the-best-donuts-in-orange-county/However, I do stop in occasionally for a croissant and coffee, which is very good, but what impresses me the most is the super friendly owner lady. Always a warm greeting, even in the most ungodly earliest of hours. Perhaps she OD's on her own concoction? I have purchased on several occasions their versions of those deep fried sugared gut bombs, but they were for my office-mates to many appreciative moans and groans. I believe my first visit was when the Dodgers began their current run of successive trips to the postseason. Friendly owner lady enthusiastically agreed to dress up a dozen in Dodger Blue, complete with that familiar interlocking LA logo. So not only friendly service and great coffee, but maybe even some customization work as well if you ask nicely.I Dan H, hereby nominate Tasty Donuts to any list of Top 10 Shops that may be making the rounds.

Most every time I'm in OC I stop by Tasty's for their apple fritters and French crullers. But everything in there is super yummy. The best is to get the fritters when they are just out of the over and warm. The French crullers are just so light and heavenly!!! If I'm not mistaken, the French crullers are only available on the weekends, so plan your visit accordingly if your wanting to try it! They have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and maple flavors. Vanilla and chocolate are my faves. My youngest loves the donut holes. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The crullers don't travel well, tried to bring home to Maui, HI and it didn't make it. Mind you it's an 5 hour flt plus whatever else time on the ground from whatever time u bought them. So you must enjoy them in the OC.

Tasty Donuts & Deli is the real SoCal deal!If you grew up in SoCal, you *know* that donuts are a thing here. And this place is an authentic, woman-owned small business that really puts the love in every donut! And Sophia (the owner) is always there, making us feel very welcomed and just warm/happy to be there.And did I mention that we loved all of the donuts (and we tried many; donuts for lunch is swag)! That said, the Apple fritter, buttermilk crueler, Bavarian crème were big standouts! Also not to be missed: taro boba and their tasty(!) Thai ice tea. Truly heavenly donuts and tea!

Today after getting a manicure and pedicure at a nearby salon, I walked around the strip mall and thought I'd give this place a try. It was lunchtime so I ordered a turkey sandwich on a croissant with lettuce tomato pickles jalapeños onion and mayonnaise. It had to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten! I highly recommend to come try this place! The sandwich was huge and it only cost seven bucks.They also have donuts and breakfast sandwiches along with smoothies and things like that. I didn't try any of those.
