Taste of Beauty is a plant based restaurant with an option of gluten free. Each dish is an artwork that is tied in with a poem. Parking is easy to find. We made reservations and were seated in our own room. Each room is decorated with a sense of serenity and enjoyment of the environment. I decided on the five course tasting menu - vegan and requested gluten free, it was delicious. Each dish was a piece of art and delicious. The Island and Hillside were my favorites. After the five course tasting menu, I barely had enough room for dessert. But I had to try the Tiramisu dessert, it is vegan and gluten free. And it is probably one of the best tiramisu I've tried. I will be coming back here to try out all the other dishes!

Definitely off their game tonight. We got seated at a table with a questionable view. The staff were kind but unorganized and felt understaffed. the dinner service lasted a bit longer than I was expecting. Live performance was subpar. Food was the saving grace for me but my partner got sick and vomit in the middle of the night, may or may not have been the food but I have to consider it. I wouldn't recommend on a busy holiday or when understaffed.Full Review:I was excited to try an Asian vegetarian/vegan fine dining experience with my partner on Valentine's. I got to try it but not without a lot of caveats. On arrival we greeted had reservations and were seated promptly. However we were seated to a very poor seat. It was tucked away in the corner behind an island and had office and kitchen supplies tucked under it. This quickly changed the atmosphere from a fine restaurant with an Asian tea room vibe to a hole in the wall dim sum restaurant. They were a bit packed so I didn't want stress out the staff about having us reseated. Waiting staff brought us tea but didn't bring the menus out for a while. After seeing the two courses we decided on both getting a vegetarian option and a couple of mocktails. Her drink came out first while I didn't see mine until the 5th course unfortunately. As we were reminiscing on our adventures last year we had a live performer singing to us in the background who was unfortunately very flat in her vocals. I would have preferred the classy piano music they played for us in between her songs. The first few dishes then came out and I wished the server gave the story or explained the dishes we were eating but I think they were either temp workers or newly trained as they repeatedly had to recheck on us to see what was served. I was impressed by the plating of our starting dishes though. The soup was fresh tasting like a seaweed soup or miso soup, the tart was plated like a beautiful flower. As the dinner went on we heard awkward bangs of dropped plates in the kitchen brining the restaurant to a silence and is probably the cause of our next dishes coming out so slowly. I finally receive my mocktail and then received the main courses. I was pleasantly surprised by the dish which feels to be a veggie risotto and loved the cotton candy on top fried mushrooms where you pour sweet and sour sauce and the candy dissolves. The candy added a nice extra sweetness to the savory sauce and the mushrooms which had a nicely spiced breading. We then got the check and I was sad to see that gratuity was an included 18%. I had to walk up the check as the servers were taking their time. I explained my complaints and they apologized. They said they had to add the extra table with the bad view due to the high volume tonight. I just left it at that and chalked it up to just a busy night with not enough prep and everything didn't go smoothly. Later in the night my partner didn't digest the food well and vomit up her food. While I didn't get sick and enjoyed the food, I don't want to discount the possibility and hope management sees this takes extra care of the food prep. I was hoping the experience would have been a good one from the other reviews but looks like they just overbooked a holiday night and were not prepared for the high volume and didn't bring their A game. I wouldn't recommend going during peak season and would recommend caution if you have a sensitive stomach.

I was excited to try this place as it is my first time trying vegan/vegetarian food. The experience was nothing short of disappointing for the following reasons: 1. The food taste is quite alright but the portions are so small and I was no where near full after the 8 course. Keep in mind this meal was 99 per person (on valentine)2. The staff actually skipped a dish from the 8 course and we had to call them over to bring out the other dish. After this, the chef never came back to our table to explain each of the dish anymore. 3. Service was mediocre for this caliber of restaurant and charge such as dirty utensils were never replaced, and dirty dishes are not taken away before they serve the next dish.Maybe I was just unlucky to come on a busy time so services is not up to par but food portion was definitely way too little. They also just automatically charged 18% tip

This is my second visit to Taste of Beauty, a vegetarian or vegan fine dining restaurant. I was already impressed at my first visit, but even more blown away my second time. The location is easy to find with ample parking. The environment is quiet and peaceful. The restaurant is spacious inside with multiple areas including a section of tea pots and teas, open seating, and several private rooms for a more intimate event. The staff have always been welcoming, warm, accommodating, and professional. The food is inspired! The philosophy of the restaurant is centered around engaging your mind, spirit, and all your senses to enjoy the food. Each dish is beautiful crafted, delicious, and inventive, usually accompanied by a little vignette of mindfulness. The dishes are Asian with a fusion of many other cultures such as Mexican, Peruvian, and Nigerian. They offer many amazing teas, and you can get tea and/or wine pairings with your meal which is offered as a five- or eight-course experience with additional a-la-carte add-ons.The restaurant is pricey, but, in my opinion, very worthwhile. I recommend it and will be returning in the future.

This restaurant seemed so exciting on Instagram. Unfortunately it did not meet expectations. It is an expensive experience. The food was beautiful and creative with a story to go with it but quite bland. They only had the 8 course menu for Valentine's day and only the last 3 items on the menu tasted good. The tiramisu was delicious. Some foods were slimy in texture. The oolong tea they served was nice as well. They also charge 18% service charge automatically. Overall it was a huge waste of money.

We went here for my moms birthday and it was our first time trying a plant based fine dining restaurant, and I don't know if any other place could top this experience. We were greeted by a beautiful interior and walked to our own dining room area which was beautifully decorated and had a gorgeous ikebana setup. Our server made this whole experience so great too, she was so sweet!I got the 5-course vegetarian tasting menu while my mom got the 5-course vegan menu. It was $63 per person (an absolute steal) and it filled us up and we felt great after! To be transparent I cannot remember all of the names of each dish but there was a story behind every single one that our waitress explained each time, and I loved how intentional it was. Every dish was also so tasty, I was so impressed with how much flavor there was in the vegan courses. Such a great way to celebrate, my mom had the best time ever and we were left feeling full, happy, and in awe. I know they change their vegetarian menu every new farming season, and the vegan one stays the same (I believe). I would pass on the mock tails and get actual alcohol next time. Thank you for the best experience, I can't wait to come back to try the next tasting menu!

I was very excited to try an Asian-fusion vegetarian restaurant with a tasting menu, especially given the very high rating on yelp. However, I was a tad disappointed with the overall experience. My husband and I tried both the vegetarian and the vegan menu - between the two, I'd say the vegan one is a lot better. The chef is going for a "fine dining" experience, so the dishes were presented nicely. A couple of the dishes we enjoyed were the mango and aloe "sushi", the quinoa salad, and the grilled mushrooms. However, some other dishes were just lacking flavor/texture (a fried "pork" dish wrapped in lettuce was pretty bad, and a tofu dish with sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was from a premade bottle). The ambiance/physical layout of the restaurant was a bit odd as well - it was huge, but very empty and we sat at a semi private room with a massive table (for only 2 people). Service was friendly, but a little stiff as they seem to be just reciting a script when serving a dish.Has potential....but needs to work out a few things...

I didn't have high expectations coming into this restaurant but I expected the food to be edible. Echoing what others have said, maybe it was an off night for them but it really doesn't excuse the high price point for this tasting menu. I went with the 8 course tasting menu, the first few dishes were edible but I couldn't eat anything after golden reed. The flavors really didn't blend well and had a off putting taste to them (too peppery?). Similar to what someone said, my stomach started to turn after eat golden reed. I really did try to like it but my tastebuds and stomach just didn't like the food. It was a pricey meal to walk away unhappy. Maybe their other tasting seasonal tasting menus is good but this one was just awful. Also, an 18 percent gratuity is added to the meal.

This place is amazing! The vegan course is the way to go! The service was just as amazing, there were 2 gentlemen taking care of us and they were attentive, so polite, and personable! They made my birthday dinner very special! The island, hillside, garden, rainforest, and dune were my favorite! The desserts were out of this world! I have been vegan for 10+ years and my mom who is not, enjoyed it just as much as me. We will be back!
