Tartan Room

Took our daughter here for her 30th Bday as this is where she wanted to go to celebrate- we had the best set up and Linda our waitress was awesome! There were 9 of us and she didn't miss a beat. So nice and on her game. Even the hostess helped us out with little things while she was busy. They were super accommodating and everyone had a great meal, drinks and loved the live music! Made her bday dinner just a little more special, the band even sang her Happy Birthday:) Thank you so much! I Grew up in Orange and went for my first time a few months ago. Why I just don't know lolHad such a nice time! Happy she picked Tartan Room to celebrate!

So we've been here 3 times now. The first was fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly and our waitress was a hoot that just made us feel so welcomed. The second visit, everything was overcooked and the waitress was indifferent about our table. The third time I came in with a friend for happy hour and the waiter was great and the ribs were great for the price! The live music was a little loud but hey it's live music! All that to say.. it feels kind of like a crap shoot on the experience you're going to have when you walk in.. but perhaps that is part of the fun? Food must tries: the Texas prime rib. Hands down the best thing we've had (when it's cooked right).

This is a secret spot we LOVE to visit. It has everything... great food, live entertainment and reasonable prices. I highly recommend the calamari appetizer. It is unique and delightful. Not like calamari you have anyplace else. The prime rib is always perfect! And don't forget the chocolate cake and port wine for dessert!!!It's a nostalgic venue ... like a time machine to the past ... when restaurants were actually GOOD! Don't expect a fancy hoity-toity ambiance. This is the REAL deal. Go to Tartan Room to relax, unwind and enjoy an amazingly superb meal and glass of wine.I almost hate to tell you to go here because it's our favorite place and I don't want it to get too busy. Haha. But if you don't dine here soon you are missing out!

This is a popular place amongst the upper middle class people. There were lots of dinner plates to choose from. Look at the menu as there was something for everyone.Had already eaten so I went with an Old Fashioned with Bulleit Rye.Kinda funny, sent our bread basket to be refilled with the butter cup in it, came back with no butter...interesting!

This is a hole in the wall place where only locals know about it. I only noticed this place because I was at the Bank of America next door and noticed a lot of people walking in. Sadly I had high expectations with this place since there was great reviews. It's a steakhouse/American food. We ordered the calamari which was good, nice thick pieces. We both ordered steaks and both were bland, the whole dish was bland, even the veggies. Service was great though. Maybe w would come back to get lunch but the steaks will not be ordered again.

This restaurant is a hidden gem (although it seems like most locals all know about it- but it's a new place for me!). The restaurant is a bit tucked away if you do not know where to find it but idk e you walk in there's a comfortable ambiance. Every time we have gone there's live music and we're all always seated quickly. The meals are large portions and come with the most amazing starter soup (or salad which I haven't tried yet but heard good things from my friends who ordered it). The prime rib was beyond delicious and flavorful and the twice baked potato was just the cherry on top! Can't recommend enough!

What a hidden gem! Excellent excellent steak! I had the prime rib and my husband had the skirt steak. Both were cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. And Andrew, our waiter was very personable and attentive. We will be back.

I would def come here again. Our waitress was so sweet and gave great recommendations. The food was great steaks cooked perfect and ambiance is cool. Only observation is the twice baked potato didn't have much flavor so I'll just get mashed potatoes next time

We went last night to bring a new group after raving about the food to them especially the garlic bread to find out they no longer are going to serve the garlic bread but instead brought out hard rolls such a disappointment. Sara the server is fantastic and all other staff but they need to bring back the garlic bread.
