So if you're craving asada tacos in then you need to make your way here. These tacos are on another level--perfectly seasoned and juicy. The asada burrito? Equally delicious. It's definitely a must-try if you want something heartier. Every ingredient tastes fresh, and they wrap it all up into the ultimate comfort food experience. A couple of things to note: this taqueria only takes cash, so make sure to hit the ATM beforehand. Bonus points for their late hours--it's the perfect spot to grab a bite after a long day or a night out.

I've always enjoyed the food here, but my recent experience was disappointing. I called three hours before closing to place a phone order, something I've done many times before. This time, the staff refused and claimed they couldn't take phone orders. I decided to go in person, only to wait 20 minutes with no one at the counter, despite two employees in the back and a growing line of customers. When I called again, they answered quickly, but still refused to take my order over the phone. To make matters worse, a security guard approached my partner and me in our car, questioning what we were doing, which felt unnecessary. Inside, I noticed a cook handling food without gloves, and another was cleaning up early, even though the restaurant still had two hours before closing. The food has always been great, but the service and hygiene issues on this visit were disappointing.

Just recently discovered this local dive for Tacos. The food is so amazing that in went back three days in the roll and took three tacos to work for lunch. The area two stores very close to each other. Tapatia #1 closes at 1:00AM while Tapatia #2 opens 24 hrs. I was at Tapatia #2 around 3:00AM and 6:00 Am on two separate instances. Both times, the place is packed with Happy people. BTW, I love their carnitas and asada. Enjoy !!

My go-to place for good authentic tacos, burritos, tortas you name it! Good quality meats, perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection. I love the Al Pastor here and can get it with anything, my wife raves about the Asada and she is very selective about her Asada. The salsa bar is a nice perk too, you can help yourselves to pickled carrots, limes, and green or red salsa. The service is fast and efficient, I have never waited more than 10 minutes even for a larger order.

I called to order, lady spoke very fast at me in Spanish and when I asked in English to order for pick up, they just said no, rambled something in Spanish and hung up. I can understand some Spanish but I don't speak it fluently. Place is open for another 2 hours so can't be that they are closing. Very disappointed and I feel as though I was not given a chance to order since I am not Spanish speaking, which feels kind of racist. Maybe I'm looking too much into it but I'm giving this place 1 star since I wasn't given a chance to even try it. Adios, senora racista!

Food is very delicious. They only have one cook though, so it does take a while to get your order but he's quick for only being one person on the grill. They should definitely add one more. The tables are clean and the place overall is well taken care of, you can tell they actually care about maintaining a clean environment. You can fit about 4 people for booth with plenty of space.

This is my favorite taco place in all of Santa Ana. I've been coming here for decades. I remember when they closed down because they were widening Bristol street, and I got so sad because I thought their place was gone. But then they came back and in the same spot, too. That says something about their staying power. You must have their el pastor tacos, it's their specialty. The meat is juicy. Their salsas, especially the red one, are so unique. I wish I knew how to make that one. The same lady is still there that takes the orders. She is so kind. The place is small so I usually order there and take it to go so I can enjoy my food at home. Definitely a taco staple in the community. Bring cash!

Stop by this place for lunch. It's a messy place around on the floor, also the condiments station was messy.. The food here is all not good, no taste. We ordered 2beefs tacos and 2 Chorizo tacos. Both of them are not fresh and taste like steam meat..
