Taqueria El Gordito

My boyfriend and I have been looking for good eats and saw this on my Yelp page and read the reviews. This was my boyfriend's and I first time coming here. Today, we got the carne asada fries. The carne asada fries come with meat, fries, and cheese. The meat was very delicious, flavorful, and seasoned. I just wish they added more meat into this dish. The fries were very crunchy, crispy, and well seasoned. I personally loved their red and green sauce it was amazing the BEST sauce ever. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The parking is very small and few parking spaces. The store was very small, there is outdoor seating & barstool seating as well. I would definitely come back here to try their other foods on the menu.

very small and cute little mexican spot :) the breakfast burritos are HUGE and cooked to order. i ordered the carne asada breakfast burrito and it was just okay...the meat wasnt super flavorful but tender and the eggs and potatoes in it also were pretty bland. the salsas were weak as well. the service was quick and friendly.

Beans & Cheese Burrito 7/10My bean and cheese burrito was alright. It was pretty big in size. But pretty meh tasting. A whole lot of the same flavor too. It needed something else to make it exciting. I added rice for 99 cents and it was still blah. 1x Horchata 32 ounce 10/10Really good! It tasted creamy and had lots of cinnamon. Really good on the horchata.

Small place with only 7 outdoor tables and 6 bar stools at a counter. No indoor seating. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable but a little more than some places. I ordered a breakfast burrito which had eggs, sausage, potatoes and cheese in it. The size was huge. I tried the Pork and Pollo tamales. They were wide but short. The masa was moist and tasted good. The meat is the pork was more flavorful but both were yummy. My hubby got a lengua Street Taco and used the 15% off Yelp check-in coupon for a 2 chicken enchilada combination plate substituting rice for extra lettuce. He said the lengua was plain and lacked flavor. However the chicken enchiladas did have good flavor and he appreciated that they allowed him to trade the rice for lettuce. Their selection of sauces is great. They have mild, green salsa, avocado salsa, red salsa and an orange looking salsa. Their carrots with peppers were good and the limes were wrapped well and were juicy.Wish they had fans outside to help keep the flies from bugging us but other than that, it was a good find. We will probably return if we are in the area, but will try something other than the lengua Street Taco.

I often pass by this little taco spot when I drive home from work. I always wanted to give it a try. I finally stopped by and checked them out. I was craving some nachos and ordered the super nachos. This choice wasn't clearly visible on the menu but its there. It was good, not the best I have had but pretty good. Maybe add some pico de gallo and some other type of cheese to make it better. I liked the small area right outside to hang out and eat your food. Variety here is good and they do a lot of different plates with different type of meats. Good price. Quality of the carne asada was good. Very friendly and fast service by the girl behind the counter.

I work near by and get their tortas occasionally. I have gotten their carnitas and chicken tortas. I always order online and put no cheese and I've never had a problem with customizations. Great service and quick when I pick it up. Very quaint shack with very limited seating. Would have have recommended to others! The price is maybe a little more than other shops, but the tortas are delicious and giant.

We met el gordito. He was cool. Came here after a day at Disneyland. I got the CA burrito. It was actually pretty good. Place is small and in a sketchy area of town. They also sell pan dulce.

Taqueria El Gordito is a hidden gem! I got a California Burrito, and it was BIG!!! It was a good burrito, and I really enjoyed it. The employee who took my order was nice and friendly. There's no indoor seating since it's a very small restaurant, but there's plenty outside. Definitely worth checking out!

The name says it all!!! This is a great taco, simple and done well! Not much to say other than i am coming back for sure! Beans were good and the rice was not hard and crunchy! Only negative, it is not easy to get to for my hour lunch.

Delicious breakfast burritos and timely service. Place is small hole in the wall. Will eat here again if in the area.
