Saw this place on the way to the beach. This food is authentic! Had the machaca and egg breakfast burrito. This thing was heavy and filling, and tasty. The staff is friendly and I also got a free carne asada taco with the Yelp check in. This place is worth a try if you want some real Mexican food in the OC.

We came in to try the restaurant since we were looking for homemade Mexican food. I've tasted plenty and this place is horrible. The Jamaica was watered down so much it literally tasted like water with sugar. Tacos have No taste at all, and the cashier was so rude with us. Avoid this place at all costs and save your money. 45 Dlls for 6 tasteless tacos!!! Yuck

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant to go to in Huntington Beach. It's a hole-in-the-wall, family owned restaurant that you will miss if you don't keep your eyes peeled while driving on beach. The first dish I tried here that made me fall in love with this restaurant is their chilaquiles dish with salsa verde, carne asada and Spanish rice (I ordered it without beans, but it usually comes with beans and rice). It is so delicious! It reminds me of chilaquiles during Christmas while growing up, so authentic and the tortillas were perfectly crispy while also having just the right amount of salsa verde. The Spanish rice has the perfect balance of tomato and chicken broth flavor, while the carne asada was perfectly seasoned and cooked. This is my go-to order, especially when I'm in the mood for something a little spicier. I've also ordered their quesadillas, enchiladas, tacos and fries. All of the food I've tried has been so delicious and exactly as I ordered, but 2nd favorite thing to order here is their fries. The fries are so crispy and fried so perfectly, while every meat I've ordered it with has been cooked to perfection. The fries also comes with avocado, queso fresco (made in house), onions, cilantro and tomatoes. The reason why their fries are so tasty and what sets them apart is the fact that they used queso fresco for cheese in the fries and the queso fresco is made in house. The corn quesadillas are made from larger than normal homemade corn tortillas and are filled to the rim with whatever meat you choose to order it with. Another favorite that I truly enjoy and look forward to ordering is their chicken caldo. Their caldos are usually made to order and have all fresh ingredients and include: carrots, celery,potatoes, usually chicken drumsticks, and chayote. All the dishes I've had here, I've truly enjoyed and highly recommend this restaurant as their food truly is authentic. Plus their service is always on point. I usually order ahead and every time they've given me an estimate for how long it would take for the food to be done, they've always been right.

To summarize my experience this place is okay. Location is good. inside is alright. I placed an order to go. I got enchiladas de mole. The food itself was like a 6 out of 10. There was a bunch of bones in my enchiladas which I had to pick out. Typically wouldn't complain about it, it's whatever. But for the PRICE. They charge an arm and a leg for food. And still having bones in the meat is unacceptable. I get food prices are going up and cost of going out to eat is more. Although when I asked for a little extra sour cream and cheese. They charged me an extra 4 dollars. It wasn't much that they added on.

Wow this place sucks ASS. The owners should be ashamed to serve this GARBAGE. Avoid at ALL costs. Overpriced, flavorless, GARBAGE food that is completely inedible and disgusting. I legit couldn't even finish the food. Not to mention they were playing loud ass music but that wouldn't matter if the food was halfway decent. I spent $51 for two plates of the worst food I've ever had in my life. I love food and couldn't finish this garbage. I will celebrate the day this dog hole pile of dumpster trash goes out of business. The owners are pinche cabrons too. I wish negative stars was possible.

DON'T waste your money. Used to come here a lot and the food was great but now, HORRIBLE. Charged an extra $3 for my burrito because of the price of eggs which is fine. They gave me burned chorizo and almost no egg for the chorizo and egg burrito. Also no hominy in their menudo FYI. Rude service on top of it all when they brought the food to the table.

i order chilaquiles and added meat on top of my chilaquiles, i also order a watermelon water, the taste was not the greatest and to top it off my bill was $34.00 after you kidding me, i had chilaquiles from other and better restaurants and had never payed $34.00 for just one order, i will never go back to this place ever again, i know times are tough now and day but damn, dont go there they take advantage of you......

me disculpo con los empleados ( mi gente trabajadora )en poner mi opinión hacerca de la comida de este lugar taqueria don víctor han sido muchas veces la mala experiencia que he tenido con la comida !!!con sabor q ya se está techando a perder huele haceda!!!ahoy compre 2 caldos 7 mares y un contenedor de arroz al llegar a casa me doy cuenta q me sirvieron ya lo último q quedaba la verdad se ve mal servir un plato con los restos q ya lucen extra recalentados y muy desechos porque ya es lo último el arroz ya se olía hacedo y lo vuelbo a reiterar ni es la primera vez que le he dado mi queja al dueño víctor ,,esto le puede causar un problema con la licencia de salubridad sea usted mas conciente de uno como persona con el riesgo de enfermar no venda su comida si ya no está en condiciones.aparte q sus precios son muy elevados .
