Over the weekend, I visited this restaurant, and it was packed with Koreans, which made me think this place must be authentic! According to my Korean friends, eating tteokguk (rice cake soup) is like how we eat longevity noodles -- having a bowl adds another year to your life! Braised Beef RibsThe braised beef ribs here are different from what I've had at other Korean restaurants. Instead of the cheesy style, it's more like the Gangnam-style soy-braised ribs. The flavor leans sweet, and the ribs are so tender that they fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. The seasoning is absolutely spot-on, and personally, I find it much tastier than the spicy cheesy ribs. The portion is huge -- three people could easily have two meals out of it! Plus, this version is totally non-spicy, so even kids can enjoy it to the fullest. Pork Backbone Potato SoupThis has always been one of my favorite Korean dishes, especially in winter. Sipping the warm broth is so comforting! The soup comes in a hot stone pot, steaming and full of flavor, with around four big chunks of pork backbone. The potatoes are stewed until perfectly soft. Pairing the soup with rice is pure happiness! Beef Bulgogi Hot PotThis one was ordered especially for the kids. The broth is on the sweeter side, making it perfect to go with rice. In winter, there's nothing better than enjoying warm, hearty soups at a Korean restaurant! There are so many other dishes on the menu that look amazing too. I'll definitely come back to try more next time!

Pretty solid tasting food. The short ribs and the soups are all top notch. The bulgogi plate was also delicious The seafood pancake was amazing and perfectly crispy with the seafood cooked well the first time. The second time it was tougher and chewier and overcooked.

Solid spot for Korean food! This place is one of my go tos and they have a ton of options, some of my favorites areSeollong tang - beef broth with brisketSoondae Guk - beef broth with beef innardsMUL-BIBIM NAENG MEON - spicy cold noodlesI've also tried their galbi jim - spicy beef ribs and this is...imo not really worth it. It's about $80 for a good portion, but the beef ribs themselves are not that tender hit or miss depending on the piece

Located in a shopping center, so parking is easy! This place was amazing! Easily 5 stars for me. Their utensils are located in the side drawer of your table. Very clean. The locations in which they seat you is to allow you space, which I find very thoughtful. Yukgaejang - 5/5! It even has egg in it! Super filling, the taste is perfect! Just how I like it. Very flavorful. They do not skimp out on ingredients, so it's well worth it to me. This place would be my go to, if I lived in Irvine. Galbitang- came w scissors and tongs to help you. My sister enjoyed it. Said it was very filling. Banchan- loveeee their kimchi. It's not too citrusy, and it's made just right! If I wasn't so full from the Yukgaejang, I would've ate all of the side dishes easily. Employees are super sweet, helpful, attentive, and quick. Food came out fast.I would 10000% come back! Loved it! Thank you for a great experience!

Tang n Tang at Northpark Plaza is super convenient with easy parking! It's a great spot for some delicious Korean food, plus you can grab a drink afterward at Boba Time or Starbucks in the mall. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming.I tried the bossam combo, spicy beef flank soup, naengmyeon, pork cutlet, and pork bulgogi! The bossam combo is perfect for 2-3 people, and everything was fresh, especially the pork cutlet--it was so tender. The naengmyeon with teddy bear ice (broth) is so cute and definitely Insta-worthy! Also, try the SANG makgeoli--I loved it with bossam or spicy food. Excellent service too! A great spot for a quick and casual meal!

Came here near closing (sorry!) but they were able to seat us! My faves were the donkatsu and the bossam! The donkatsu was really soft especially for pork. The cold noodle was ok. The meat on the soups fall off the bone! I'd come back for the donkatsu and the bossam. Service was great and the place was clean.

Usually TNT is good! Solid! Everything has been good that we've tried, but recently we tried the galbijjim, and it was so bad. Way wayyy too sweet and under the rib bones, there's just a pool of grease. I was pretty disappointed and would just like to say that their galbijjim is not what Koreans are used to eating - or at least my Korean family lol.

Tang N Tang (TNT) has quickly become my go-to spot for Korean comfort food in Orange County! If you're a fan of hearty soups, generous portions, and affordable prices, you need to check this place out.The restaurant filled up as soon as I arrived, and I knew I was in for a treat. Their banchan were fresh and delicious, with the kimchi and jalapeño radish being my favorites. Here's what I ordered:* Bossam Plate ($48.99) - Tender pork belly with the perfect amount of fat, served with cabbage on the side. Ideal for sharing!* Yukgaejang ($18.99) - A spicy, hearty beef soup packed with beef, vegetables, and just the right amount of heat.* Pork Belly Soup ($16.99) - Rich, flavorful broth!* Galbi Tang ($21.99) - Perfectly cooked short rib soup with a light yet flavorful broth.* Donkatsu ($19.99) - Crisp and huge, perfect for sharing too.The staff was super friendly, and I noticed plenty of locals dining here, which is always a good sign.

We arrived around 7 PM on a Saturday evening. The entire restaurant was bustling and filled except for one table and we got the last one and didn't have to wait luckily. I've had this place bookmarked for quite a while and was looking forward to dining here with my son. We enjoyed all of the dishes and especially liked the kimchi. It tasted fresh and not overly spicy. The service was friendly and kind and just enough attention Looking forward to the next visit so that we can try other dishes.
