My partner and I were looking for a great Korean restaurant and thought to give this place a try. The short story is it was SO GOOD and we will definitely be coming back. We walked in to an intimate Korean restaurant, just in search of some soup. The staff was very quick to seat us and take our order. It felt like just a few minutes later, we were being served. The food was amazing - especially with a heaping amount of their hot sauce.

Service for Takeout was ok. I felt like me sharing that its my first time, and them not explaining what you get with the meal is not okay. It's definitely pricey for just soup. I ordered the beef rib soup, it only had 3 beef rib bones in broth. Then the rice cake dumpling soup. The beef rib soup was nothing special, so I don't know why its $23. The rice cake dumpling soup was $21. It came with sides that I didn't even eat, so if I'm being charged $20+ a soup bc of those sides, then that's ridiculous. Both soups were nothing special. The nice thing was the guy did mention to me if I paid cash, I save 6% discount for not using a card. Sure, let me save $3. $50 for 2 soups, is so crazy. I clearly was not thinking straight & I was craving soup so thats why I ordered them both to try. I'm sure koreans love this place but no way will I come back here for their soup. Its not bad soup but its not worth over $20! I will just say that we were not a good match. I think its worth it for people who love korean food, but this type is not mines. Rating is based on pricing and quality of food. Service was fine, but this was a takeout order. It took like 6 mins for my food to come out and I do want to mention the guy was very nice to agree to give me extra broth for the rice cake dumpling soup that I was willing to pay for because I have a client who always gets this soup but this place always adds extra rice cake when we say no dumpling which means less soup. My client wants more soup and less rice cake, no dumpling. Its just soo hard for them to understand that. If we want less of something, why can't they do that? I don't get it, you would think giving us more broth than the other stuff would be easy to do but I guess not.

I really enjoyed Tang 190. They have plenty of parking and a lot of outside seating. Inside the restaurant is not too large but a decent amount. The menu is pretty extensive with a wide array of dishes to try. They offer unlimited banchan. Service was fast and efficient. I tried their famous back rib soup and spicy pork plate. Soup broth was fantastic and seasoned well. Large portions and felt very full after.

Came across Tang 190 in this plaza that has everything and plenty of parking! They have this nice outdoor patio, but I sat inside and was really impressed by the interior. Spacious with this modern-retro vibe! The staff were fast and friendly.Me and my friends ordered quite a feast with makgeolli: Bossam (Pork & Kimchi Wrap Platter), Rice Cake & Dumplings Soup, Gamjatang, Spicy Chilled Noodle, and Seafood Green Onion Pancake. Everything tasted good, but I especially loved the bossam and spicy chilled noodles!!!The place is super clean and perfect for casual Korean food with a group.

Tang 190 has the best of both worlds - classic, authentic Korean food served in a modern, clean restaurant. I sometimes feel like it's one or the other, but they nailed it. They also have really great service. I was really impressed with the galbi tang here. The radish kimchi (kkakdoogee) was AMAZING. So crunchy and well fermented. The galbi tang is the closest flavor I've had to galbi tang in Korea. Rich beef flavor, fall apart tender beef ribs, and the broth just wraps you like a warm hug. Very nostalgic flavor for me. Delicious!

Food:This place is definitely one of the best restaurants serving this type of Korean food. The kalbi tang did not disappoint, and was hearty and filling. They give plenty of tender beef with the soup. The bossam (pork wraps) was super soft and juicy, although I wish they gave a bit more lettuce (they don't refill). It's hard to go wrong with a bulgogi dolsot bibimbap, and they did not disappoint. All the side dishes were great!Service: All the staff were friendly. This place gets pretty busy, so we had to wait a bit to get seated. We didn't wait too long for our food, though.Location:Placed in a popular plaza, parking is easy to find. the restaurant is on the smaller side, so if may be tricky to easily get a larger group seated during peak hours.

Came in a party of three. My friend and her boyfriend got Bossam and Back rib soup meanwhile I got the Bibimbap. We came around 4:30 so there was barely any people, meaning service was fast. As 5 came, it became a bit more packed because everyone was getting early dinner.

It's always the small mom-and-pop shops like this one that are serving up lowkey amazing Korean comfort food with the most caring service too.The cabbage in the galbi-tang soaked up that delicious broth and was a crowd favorite, but what really got me going was this gigantic galbi bibimbap. The trick is to wait for the rice on the bottom to get a little scorched from the stone pot, then mix it all up for maximum texture. And ginseng chicken soup with an entire half chicken that was fall-apart tender and would literally cure a sick person INSTANTLY.Thanks for reading! ^-^

I was initially hesitant on prices, but after trying their back rib soup it was immediately worth it. The broth is so savory and flavorful and feels super cozy! It is definitely the best korean rib soup I've had. They give you a lot of meat too, and the side dishes are really good. I wish they added more noodles though!
