Tambuli Supermarket

Tambuli is a Filipino market located near Santa Fe and Willow, I was in search for sambal and siracha and after 5 different stores; Seafood city, Ralphs, Walmart, 99 ranch and Food4less, I was finally successful!! Thank you for having it in stock! They have a produce, meat and fish section, all looked good. They also carry lumpia, milk fish and ube ice cream in the freezer section. Of course, noodles, sauce packets and drinks. Tambuli also has a restaurant that offers the typical Filipino dishes such as adobo, sinigang, grilled meats etc. I was also in search of Kimchi - Customer service was terrible in helping me out.

The closest Filipino market to us and it serves us well when dad quickly decides he wants Filipino food. Their fast food area is full of delicious items and their shelves are always stocked with what we need. The one thing I regret is not learning how to speak Tagalog so I can converse with the other Filipinos.

Filipino grocery store, medium size on the western part of Long Beach. Has pretty much all that you would need for filipino cooking. It has a large meat/fish counters in the back. The have a small space in the front where you can buy Luisa & Son bakery goods. Prices seem a bit higher than some of the other big grocery chains (seafood city, island pacific). They have a small restaurant to the side, with classic dishes like pancit, pata, and shanghai style eggrolls. Was hoping for some fried mackrel....next time.

Went back and had salmon and tokwat baboy. Both were not great. Good amount of food but lacking severely in flavor, and surprisingly, the salmon didn't taste like it had any salt. I will probably still be back, but I won't ever get those 2 entrees ever again from there.

And again, I bought an expired item on the shelf! Management needs to be hands on and check every single item/product they have.

I'm giving this place 1 STAR only.Do not buy they're jeprox & ponny fish.You want to stay alive stay away from this salty unhealthy items.Called the Manager today, 1/5/2022 @ 10:55al name Leroi. Poor customer service.He was worrying about me getting a refund that his job.If no customer, no job.My money just trown in the trash. I am very disappointed going to TAMBULI Supermarket. Today, the day before New Year, my sister and I went grocery shopping. The cashier, Cejey, was very nice and friendly. However, when we got home and checked our receipts, we both noticed that we were charged for an extra item. I'm not sure if this was just a mistake, but for it to happen to two different people raises some concerns. It feels intentional. I tried calling the number on the receipt to file a complaint, but no one answered. This is not a good practice. While it may only amount to a few dollars, it adds up when it happens to multiple customers. So, buyers beware! If you are purchasing items in different quantities, make sure to double-check that you are being charged correctly. I bought Super Q Golden Bihon, originally priced at $1.99 each but was on promotion for 3 for $5.00. I was charged for a fourth item. My sister had a different receipt; she bought 2 Dari Cream Classics and was charged for 3.Tambuli Management, please provide an honest service or make sure, your workers are honestly charging people. We work hard for our money just to be cheated when we buy our groceries in your store. Again, the issue here is not necessarily just the amount but the integrity you provide your customers. Needless to say, my sister and I will never go back to your store.

The meat here is not fresh. I bought some ground chicken here and it had a horrible smell.

sooooooo overpriced and 3 of the things i bought were expired go to the a and f market across its so much better and much more cheaper

the staff is very nice and helped me and my mom, our go to super-market! I hope it stays
