Taiko Udon

Last time I gave 5 stars today a 1 star and why? Ordered a mi bo kho...they put the vegi condiments inside my stew and stirred it up as if someone had ate it changed their mind sent it bk to the kitchen and passed bk to me as a new customer...like what TF as if ordering a bowl of pho and MoFo already put all the unwanted vegies preordered for you..ordered 2 ice water came out 3 bucks extra and another WTF? To top it off the working waitress had a big old printed tshirt that says dnt ask questions as if they are not there to work. If u need something dnt bother? If u nail her stick it anywhere u like but just dnt ask questions? I put the menu check out tap water for 1.50...Nickel and dime their customers just to lose their business...good job retards, another of my to go places no more

Small restaurant with some outside seating, it can get pretty crowded quick. Ordered chicken curry with noodles, generous amount of sweet potato and chicken. The curry itself was lacking a bit of flavor, but overall I would said it was good. Colleague ordered the beef curry with baguette and he enjoyed it. The baguette was great! Food came out pretty fast and service was good. It was a hot day and it got super hot in the restaurant, especially eating soup. There wasn't much airflow at all. Everyone else was ordering different things, it looked like had a handful of good popular menu items like bo kho and banh canh. Meal came out to be about $30 total.

This restaurant doesn't look like much in the heart of the Vietnamese Bolsa district but don't be fooled. This resturant has great dishes full of flavor and is great for a Vietnamese breakfast. They open at 7am and it's surprisingly busy in the morning with coffee drinkers lounging outside and having a great time. I ordered Togo and the cashier was helpful and patient with me and double checked my order. They provide great customer service and their food quality is excellent. If you stop by here do not forget to order yourself the Vietnamese milk or black coffee.

This place is upsetting Despite having really good cakes and food, customer service has started out from a 10/10 family service to a 2/10 gangster you owe us for serving you service.I called for my purse that I might have left after being a customer. And the person had the AUDACITY to tell me that I have to come in person because they were "very busy" to check the front cashier? Why would I come in person? It doesn't take long to check, this place is literally like cafe sized. Secondly, when you're here in person the service isn't that good either so idk what he's doing that makes him so busyThirdly if I came in person how would it make finding my purse any faster than on the phone??

Nice Lil place for some udon or chicken curry. Our fav in this place is the (Hu Tieu Bo Kho:) Beef Stew Rice Noodle #5 and (Ca RI Ga Dac Biet:) Chicken Curry #11.A fresh baguette is included with the meal and you can dip the meat with pepper/lime/salt with chile for an added taste.They sat us quickly, cleaning up the table and order was fresh! They were very attentive to our needs. Customer service was the extra star for me.My personal favorite is the fresh squeeze sugar cane drink (Nuoc Mia':). A must try for you! Don't understand the low rating. It's in the heart of Lil Saigon in Westminster so the parking is trouble-some. That may be part of the review but you can't blame them for the crazy, rich/poor Asian drivers. Lol. Most importantly, price is reasonable. Well worth the trip if you find yourself hungry in this part of the town.Enjoy and come-unn' down! (Come-unn' = thank you in Vietnamese:)

My wife and I stopped by this place for lunch today. The waiter was friendly and the service was quick. I ordered banh canh tom cua (seafood udon) and my wife ordered the chicken curry with baguette. My udon was good with crab meat, 2 large shrimps and 2 meatballs. The broth was quite delicious. My wife's curry was creamy and very well flavored. The chicken could be a bit more tender. The baguette was nice and hot. Overall, it's a good place for a quick bite and reasonably priced.

The place is a family owned business and I like to support it!Also the food here tastes very authentic to what Vietnam has to offer! We got the udon (banh canh).. the bo kho (beef stew) and the bun rieu (noodles with crab cakes and tofu)The portion is worth its price and the baguettes are what I feel is fresh baked in the back.. very soft and crunchy.The owners were attentive and told employees to bus and wipe tables right away before next parties sat down... Highly recommended!

Please do not take a chair from a little child sitting in the waiting area no matter how busy you are. That's really inconsiderate. The food here is decent and they are crowded because very little competition, however, they REALLY need to work on training staff on providing better service. They are rude and very typical of this kind of business that they value fast and rude service to get everyone in but no quality. One of our soup bowls didn't have ground meat in there. I had to ask for them. I found a hair in my soup bowl once as well. With the exception of probably the only time we get a little bit of better service of the cashier/waitress at this exact time and day.

Been here a few times and I've only gotten a few things here. Their specialty is the Beef Stew. You can either get it with a loaf of french bread on the side or with noodles. My thing is, why choose when you can do both? Yep, get the beef stew with noodles and a loaf of bread on the side to dip. Holy Cow. Flavor town. Their pate chaud is pretty good too. The meat to pastry ratio is way better than many of the other places in town. And it comes out fresh practically on demand. This is a great place for a quick lunch. Don't mind all the old people sitting out front. They're just lounging.

Above average or overall better than most places around the area.Food is decent but service is about average.
