Tacos El Rey

I'm totally surprised this place doesn't have more reviews!! Found this truck on Yelp next to my house and it was a bonus that they're open until midnight. The lady serving me was super kind too! I'm not even exaggerating when I'm saying... these are some of THE BEST TACOS i've ever had, and I've had a lot of tacos from many places. Al Pastor Tacos (5/5): Now I'm very picky when it comes to my tacos, especially al pastor. This place nailed the seasoning and texture of the meat. It was so savory, sweet, flavorful and sooo tender! The right amount of grease and the tortillas were delicious!! Not to mention that the plate also came with grilled onions, cucumbers, and a serrano pepper, which really adds to the tacos in my opinion. Seriously, you need to try their al pastor, it was BOMB! Horchata (5/5): A lot of horchatas I've had have been gritty, not well strained, or just lacking in flavor and sweetness. NOT HERE! The horchata was creamy, smooth, and had the right amount of sweetness I'm looking for!! I love that it had a cinnamon swirl to it too when I got it. It has a condensed milk taste, which I assume they used, that makes it sooo addicting. Not even being dramatic, one of the top horchatas I've had. Another man next to me raved to me about their strawberry agua fresca! They make pina, strawberry, and horchata. I'll have to get that one next time! I'm definitely coming back to try more of their items, they just got themselves a loyal customer. RUN DON'T WALK TO EAT HERE!!!

Some of the best tacos I have had since moving to the area! The asada and pastor had amazing flavors. My favorite is definitely the lengua. Super tender and delicious. I'm always willing to spend a bit more for great lengua! Lots of different meat options so you got variety. They also offer some grilled onions too which goes great with the food. I'm not the biggest fan of cucumbers but it does add some freshness to the meal. Service was perfect and the area has a lot of parking around so it's nice. Definitely check this place out!

The best tasting tacos! Every single time I come, it never disappoints. Flavor is immaculate. The salsas are delicious also! Super friendly owners and fast service. They have some seating and lights outside and sometimes play music.

3.5. good flavor. these are three bite tacos. very friendly. trailer is kinda hidden on a side street. little seating area. asada isn't bad but don't think i'd recommend the al pastor. decent flavor but not off the spit.

Delicious! Definitely great food! We ordered a torta de Al pastor, tacos de cabeza, tripa, and asada and all was tasty. We also ordered a huarache with asada and it was loaded with beans, meat, lettuce, onions and cilantro. The salsas are hot and so delicious. The food is served with a side of grilled onions and serranos that were spicy for eternity!! The aguas fresca are fresh and made on site. They have strawberry, horchata, and pineapple. Yum! If you're in the area, stop in! Enjoy!

What a gem of a taco truck! Was in the area and decided to check out "El Rey." Did not disappoint. I asked what was best and of course was given a variety of options. Tripas taco 10/10 (I don't even like tripas)Asada mulita (9.5/10) don't like cheese but damn it was goodTacos al pastor on point! 8.5/10 (missing piña but I'm from DF).Sope de asada was small on the amount but plentiful with meat 9.5/10 (i love sopes so no one gets a 10 except my abuela).The owners are cool AF. They bantered with me and even had a laugh about me potentially stealing their wallet (chilangos will know).The salsa was the bestMix of Michoacán and Oaxaca deliciousness. Not the spiciest, but solid, however the flavor was incredible. Please check them out. Easy parking and great food at reasonable prices!My favorite taco truck TBH!

My bf and his brother eat here almost daily, so I had to come check it out! And I have to hand it to them, this place is a gem! I think this food truck is stationed there daily, and both the food and service are amazing. The tacos/burritos are packed with flavor and they definitely don't skimp out on the portions. Every bite is a delight, and the staff is friendly and efficient.

Bomb asf!! The food is cooked very well and tastes amazing, my bf and I love coming here a lot I love how quick the service is and if you come in the evening theres a lovely sunset to watch as you enjoy your meal and they have seats for you aswell. Their horchata tastes great !! I got asada fries and tacos last time and they were so yummy!! Def reccommend coming here for your food (: The service is always great , they're very kind !

After looking for so long i finally found a place were they have good asada fries the employees are super nice the food always hits the spot and the best thing is they are close to my house for those late night munchies. They do open after 5pm tho. But i would recommend this place
