Suadero. Too crispy for my liking, but like the option to have it on a hand made tortilla.

We came here after a late night concert, and this food truck was still open (they close around 1am). I would highly recommend this place! Absolutely loved the food, the staff, and the food options! It hit the spot, and I will remember this place for lunch, dinner, and a late night snack!

My cousin and I came across this taco truck after our desperate attempt to hunt down an amazing taco spot my ex had taken me to. After literal hours of driving around the city of Santa Ana, exhausted, hangry, and the gas light on... we pulled up to this truck with our fingers crossed. There was a bit of a herd, which was a great sign. They had a lot of different options but we wanted tacos. I did notice that no one before or after us ordered tacos, they got tortas or pupusas or something, it all sounded delicious. The cashier was friendly, and super patient. He stated we had the option of getting tacos on the regular corn tortillas or hand made on the spot corn tortillas. No brainer... make my tortillas on the spot!!! That was a bonus for us. Anyway, the wait was a little excessive but the tacos were good. They're just tacos after all. Definitely not as good as the top secret spot my ex got me hooked on, to be completely honest. The suadero was a little too crispy for my liking. They also messed up my order, took back the tacos, and picked out the part I requested none of, then handed them back to me. Yikes. But like I mentioned, we were so hungry and had waited ages so whatever, I ate them, health code violation and all. My taco cravings weren't truly satisfied, so we made the mistake of coming again the next day. The top secret spot was nowhere to be found, so we stopped by this truck again but this time there was more people and an even longer wait. Y'AAAAALLLLL, tell me why I got my tacos and added some salsa, unknowingly squeezing it out of an unsecured bottle! The bottle was still full almost halfway, but apparently the lid wasn't on right because when I squeezed, the entire contents exploded all over my food and SELF! My face was covered in what was allegedly *the hottest salsa*. My cousin almost had a panic attack, along with a couple of the people in line. I don't think anyone really knew what to do, especially me lol, all I asked for was napkins so I could get it off for the meantime. It was terrifying for some to picture it happening to them, but to me it was pretty funny, like, ah just my luck. Then I realized my eyeballs would probably get some sort of damage if I didn't rinse out the salsa. I couldn't open them at all, it was actually pretty bad. This man ran to his car and brought me a gallon of water and helped me rinse out what I could, kept advising to use as much water as I needed and maybe go to the emergency room. I am super grateful that I had some help during that moment of crisis, it wasn't just a spill, an entire half bottle of salsa had erupted on my face and most of it was in my eyes. I had horrible skin irritation that I am still dealing with and tending to today. That's not good at all. The worst part for me was the lack of support from the taco truck staff. The most they did was hand me napkins, but no one ever stepped out of the truck to assist me or apologize for the overlook with the condiments. That situation wasn't my error. To top it off, they looked at my food covered in salsa and the lady shook her head like "oh no that sucks". They never re-made my order, didn't even offer it. My cousin and I went to the car and tried to figure out what to do from there. We were both still processing everything and were truly disappointed in the way the staff handled, or better yet, did NOT handle that accident. I will not be patronizing this business again, it is not local to me, nor is there really anything really great that I experienced that is bringing me back. If you do decide to try them out, maybe ask someone in line what's good there because as I mentioned, everyone else got some of the other menu items. Overall, I would not recommend this place for a quick bite, as it is definitely not quick, and the food we had was nothing to rave about. I don't think anyone would drive hours to hunt this place down as opposed to the other taco spots in that same area.

I am truly impressed with this place!!!This is the ultimate hole in the wall taco truck. It is so good it ls not even a truck its a taco minivan.I got a burrito with steak with all the fixings. 8 bucks.. Alittke pricey i thought...but let me just say this thing was better then most fine dining mexican joints. The hot sauce is a rich, dark brown with turns of chipotle flavors. Im surprised noone has reviewed this place yet. It could be because the clientelle mainky dont have smart phone. Damn good. Will be back and following up on the quality.P.S. Get the horchata. You wont go wrong.

the food is ok but the price of the food is too expensive there. I don't know but it's just a taco truck and the prices are the same or more as a restaurant. they need to reprice everything.
