Tacoholics Anonymous

My office had Tacoholics Anonymous come out for our Thanksgiving luncheon. We were really excited. They arrived prior to the start time of 11 am to set up and were scheduled to remain until about 2 pm. We don't have a lot of people in our office and it was nice to have a leisurely lunch. I opted for the chicken and beef tacos, along with a quesadilla. They set up a toppings bar near the grill with all spice levels of salsa, pickled onions, cilantro, guacamole, and chips. It was all so delicious. They even offered fish as a protein and veggie tacos for those who didn't want meat. I was super full after my first plate so I did not return for seconds although I should have. It was really good. All the employees were stoked about our luncheon. Thanks to Tacoholics Anonymous for such a delicious lunch. If you want tacos at your next event, look no further than Tacoholics Anonymous.

I attended my son's "Costumes Required" 50th pre-Halloween Birthday Bash that was catered by Tacoholics Anonymous, and even walked away with an award for "Most Creepy" Costume selected by a vote of attendees. The food was as good as before, and the servers accommodating. There was a bigger array of ingredients to include in the soft tacos, including Red Onions, lettuce, cilantro, Red Cabbage, two types of cheese, and three salsas with varying spice levels. By night's end I consumed a Cheese Quesadilla, one Chicken Taco, two Carne Asada Tacos, some White Rice and Black Beans. I only wish that Shrimp Tacos had been offered instead of Fish Tacos, and Yellow Mexican Rice instead of White Rice. Adequate supplies of paper plates, napkins, and plastic utensils were provided.

Incredible! The crew hosted our part of 85. I loved the cauliflower and broccoli tacos. Other places have the veggies dripping in gross oil - not this place - very well prepared and healthy! Fresh sliced pineapple, three amazing salsas, incredible fresh toppings. And of course the final of the meats. Very organized set up. Super friendly team and service. A huge party hit!

If you are tired of the boring taco carts all over Southern California, your search is for something better is over. Great quality tacos that are more upscale than typical. We got excellent food and customer service for a party that I threw earlier this month. People were raving about the pastor and shrimp tacos. Thank you Johnny and family for knocking everyone's socks off!

Their truck, cart and setup is clean and professional, and their service and food were excellent. Everyone at the party said the food was great and I think they ran out of business cards because everyone wanted to take one to use them in the future! We got chicken, carne asada, and shrimp, and added on quesadillas and chips and guacamole. First class all tbe way. Will definitely be using them again!

I attended a networking event in Irvine last week and Tacoholics was the food vendor for the event, serving very generous (decent amount of meat) delicious tacos! I tried their carne asada and chicken and they were both great! I'd give them a 10/10 if I could. The carne asada is grilled to perfection with a little char, hardly any fat or bristle cut into nice sized pieces. The crew is diligent and hard at work to keep the line moving for such a large crowd. The sides were well set-up, fresh toppings, chips and the guac was a plus! Kudos!

The TA Crew knocked out my oldest's 18th Birthday party out of the Block. Made a small army of teens and my family happy. Top quality food and beverages. Second time they've come out to the house to do an event and 1000% satisfied again. No complaints where we had to set them up versus the first time - harder setup location this time at back of the house. Very accommodating, even with the AC guy next to them doing some repairs. The drizzle from the clouds didn't rain out our parade! The crew was always cleaning, refilling condiments and taking care of my guests. I can't recommend TA enough. Thanks Johnny and Crew for making more great memories. PS, only downside was I couldn't get rid of these teens - they were over asking for leftovers the next day.

Tacoholics Anonymous provided catering for my sister's wedding celebration and mom's NYE celebration. It was POURING rain with heavy winds on NYE in SGV. The staff for Tacoholics Anonymous were AMAZING. They set up, cooked, served, and cleaned up throughout the whole event. They gave 110% percent and I can't thank them enough for pulling through despite the weather to make my sister & mom's celebration special.Pros:+ Super professional - they came with a large truck and provided everything we could think of (we really didn't have to do anything besides let them know what we wanted, how many people, and where to have them set up, they took care of the rest).+ Food and drinks were delicious. Our guests loved it and even packed food to take home to their families.+ Easy to communicate with and sent an invoice outlining everything that was ordered.+ The toppings for the tacos were beyond what is typically given - I would list them out but the website does a great job at listing the packages and options.Recommendations:+ I always estimate more people than expected because I would hate to run out of food. In this case, our guests were able to come back for 3rd or 4th servings.+ Send pictures of where they will be ahead of time so they can plan ahead.Overall, I would definitely book an event with them again. They made the experience extremely easy, the food was good, and I was grateful for their efforts.

AMAZING!! Johnny and his team were incredible. We had a fully outdoor event on a farm with 98 guests and they were all set up and ready to go before we even arrived! They brought all their own supplies and were fully self-sufficient at a venue with limited resources. They were all sooo nice and friendly. The tacos, sides and toppings bar was DELICIOUS. I am vegetarian and the potato option was amazing and everyone else loveeeeddd the meats. All our guests cannot stop raving about the quality, we are still getting messages about it days later. Johnny even packed up all the leftovers to give us at the end of the night! They fully cleaned up everything and made it so easy for us. Definitely recommend for any party!

Food was great and my guests enjoyed it too. The service was friendly and professional and the communication prior to the event was prompt. I was just disappointed that I paid so much and never got a single bit of leftovers. I was fully prepared to take home any condiments, drinks, and protein that I paid for as leftovers as I experienced with all taco catering in my past, but I got nothing except a polite answer that almost all the protein was used up. I saw at least 1/3 of a jug of horchata being loaded back on the truck and was not even offered that. I know for sure I had at least 10 people less than the amount of what I paid for so there had to be some sort of leftovers no matter how little that will most likely get thrown away and wasted. Food is too expensive to waste especially in this economy. If not giving your host any leftovers, it would have been nice to at least have your second staff come into the event to let us know about any last calls for any food. I never so much as got any kind of notification and had to find you (almost everything already having been packed away in your truck) to even ask for any leftovers. I also had to ask when they were actually going to start serving too. I know me and my husband were responsible for knowing the times of service, but we were never communicated anything during our actual even when we are the main event itself and had been preoccupied. Thank you for catering my baby shower.Update: food was delicious and service was good, but make sure to communicate during your event. I didn't know that my guests went back for more helpings and I didn't have any leftovers to take home (good sign of proper estimate number of guests to serve vs how much the company prepared to serve). A ready-to-serve and a finished-serving notification would have been nice.
