It is dark and dungy in this store...Prices are a little high for most items, but you can occasionally find some sales. The bathroom is located past the employee section with the heavy plastic curtains. There's plenty of parking, which is a plus.

**Hidden Gem for Taiwanese Groceries: T&K Food Market in Little Saigon**If you're a fan of Taiwanese food and also happen to be in the Little Saigon area, there's a hidden gem you need to check out--T&K Food Market. Located just a bit past by the Asian Garden Mall, this supermarket is a treasure trove for anyone missing the flavors of Taiwan. Interestingly, this spot was also a filming location for the 2001 movie *The Fast and the Furious*. Remember the scene Vin Diesel and Paul Walker's car was exploded after the Vietnamese gang's crazily shooting, they had to walk back home? Yep, that's right-- the background while they were walking and talking was here. Located in Today Plaza, T&K Food Market is right in the center of the plaza and is impressively large. The plaza itself is bustling with various restaurants and shops, and there's plenty of parking, it does get busy. As you enter the supermarket, you'll find it organized into different sections: a bulk package deal section to the right (great for businesses or large families looking to save), and the seafood/meat section on the left. What really stood out to me was their extensive selection of Taiwanese and other Asian products. They have an entire aisle dedicated to different kinds of Asian rice, noodles, and sauces--including the popular Kimlan soy sauce. You'll also find a variety of traditional Taiwanese herbal ingredients like Si Wu Tang packets, lamb hot pot ingredients, red dates, goji berries, and various types of dried mushrooms, both black and white fungus. Their frozen section is equally impressive, featuring items like braised lamb, vegetarian meats, youtiao (Chinese crullers), gua bao (pork belly buns), custard buns, and red bean buns. They also stock Ten Ren teas, Thai tea leaves, and other teas, alongside a whole shelf of cooking wines like Taiwan rice wine, Shaoxing wine, and even Beijing Erguotou. There's also a great selection of snacks--everything from Chin Chin grass jelly, Mr. Brown coffee, various flavors of canned bubble tea and Thai tea, to Korean coffee with BTS-themed packaging. I even found several flavors of I-Mei sandwich biscuits (including taro flavor which I'd never seen before), Sheng Xiang Zhen coffee rolls, and Fu Yi Xuan spicy soda crackers! In addition to food, it also carries household items, kitchenware, and even religious offerings like joss paper--something I was surprised to see. The selection here is more extensive than what I'd typically find at other Asian grocery stores, and the prices are pretty competitive. I even did a price comparison with Weee and found that most items are similarly priced, with only a few being slightly more expensive by a few cents. For someone like me, who usually has to settle for a smaller local Asian market with limited options, finding all these Taiwanese goodies at T & K Food Market was awesome. Highly recommend this spot to fellow supermarket enthusiasts.**A Few Things to Note:**While T & K Food Market is overall a great place to shop, there are a few areas that could use some improvement. The fresh produce and meat sections are somewhat dimly lit, which makes them feel less clean than they actually might be. Brightening up the lighting would definitely enhance the shopping experience. In the fruit section--especially the bananas--I noticed that some items were overripe and should probably be tossed out. The lychees, though cheaper than at Shun Fat, were another concern; when I picked up a couple of baskets from the fridge, I found that the bottom layers were starting to mold. It would be great if the staff could keep a closer eye on their fresh items to ensure everything is up to standard. **T & K Food Market**9681 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683

This grocery store is reasonably priced and has a lot of options specifically for rice noodles, which is what I was looking for, but they also had a lot of other options for interesting food, choices, and things that I wouldn't find at my local grocery store like Ralph'sThey had really good customer service and everyone was very friendly

I don't usually go to T & K Super Market, but I did today, and it was a very bad experience. I purchased a garlic crusher and apparently it was packed in a box for around $4.50 . After I went home I started to cook so I took out the garlic crusher and gave it a try but unfortunately I kept trying to squeeze the garlic in the garlic crusher, and it doesn't work. I was more afraid of breaking it than getting it to work correctly. So I decided to go back to the shop and return it. When I got there, I spoke to the manager and she said i can't return items that are already used. I told her my intentions was to buy it and to use it, not to buy it and return it. I'm only returning it because the device doesn't work like it was described to. I told her how would i know if it works or not if i dont open it? she said to come back the next day and speaks to the owner. I told her I'll leave the item there with the receipt and with my phone number and address. I told the manager that she has two options, the first one is she can Zelle me the $$ or come to my house and give it to me since she didn't think that my time and gas wasn't worth anything. I told her to call the owner up and explain everything to them but she didn't want to either. To me $5 bucks isn't anything, it's the principle that counts. This business should stand by what they sell but they don't. It's a shame. You can just donate that $5 dollars to a homeless. You just lost a customer. I'll definitely post this on other social media so other people can be aware of your unethical business.

It was quiet when we entered this asian grocery store. We just wanted walk quickly and leave. They have plenty of grocery items similar to the 99 Ranch store. While scrolling fast, my eye caught the cases of Srirachas on the back wall. LOL! The only problem was the color of the sauce. I was debating whether to buy it or not. It cost us ridiculously $7.99 per bottle. The original priced on our receipt was $19.99. At least it is much cheaper than Amazon! We brought 2 Srirachas and one Bin-Bin Rice Crackers.

I wanted to make some Jasmine green tea from a friend at work who kept bringing it in. She kept telling me I can just make it at home. I finally got a chance to visit this market and oh my gosh, if you need anything to make a boba bar for work or for a family party, this is the place to go!!! They literally have everything you need from the cups, straws, toppings, and flavors. I saved so much money buying my teas from this place. I keep making it at work because the bag of green tea is huge, it'll last me all year probably. I made my own tapioca balls and it was so easy and they have every topping you can think of. This place was awesome and they have so many other things!!!

Omg. This place is amazing. They don't let you bring in drinks from the many many wonderful tea places around (the security guard will stop you but just leave it at the front counter while you're shopping), but it's fantastic and a place you can get also of wonderful Vietnamese vegetables you can't find at other Asian supermarkets like H Mart and 99 ranch. Sawtooth coriander!! Lychees in July for 2.59/lb!!!! Their selection of Vietnamese sauces is as extensive as you'd imagine, with great prices on high quality Phu Quoc fish sauces as well as Megachef sauces you can't find elsewhere. And Chin Su! What a joy. I need to come to Westminster more often.

I came, I saw and smelled the familiar aroma of what is the typical asian market. (Breathes deeply in... *cough; cough; hack.) Ah, I love the smell of an open seafood market in the morning! When I first moved to Orange County for school, CSUF, I had my sights on touching down in Fullerton. Just say the runway was scattered with "debris" so I had to divert my flight plan to Garden Grove. - "Home is where you hang your hat." It was a bumpy landing but all in all, it worked out fine.I loved exploring the local area, popping into dive bars with sketch book in hand or a hole in the wall restaurant where the only sign I was able to read was the plastic, "OPEN," hangin in the front door... (True story) 'But being the foodie I am, the adventure continues. If an International Market and COSTCO had a baby, T&K Food Market would be the result... 'Just no membership fee, no food court nor shiny and clean floors. - Have you ever been to an International Market?Photo - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=AIJ5aUMHh1z87AF6410CLA&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQI arrived about 30 minutes early for a yelp* event at Tasty Pot that is located in the same horseshoe shaped plaza. I'm glad it was a midweek event; parking is limited and can make finding a spot at peak hours challenging.Produce - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=uIIUu84FaBWrnCVJMz7BvA&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQThe market huge! It's a lot bigger than I had first imagine when walking in. Since moving to South OC, I do not venture to this area as often. However when I do, I make the most of it.Need a stool? - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Ul_eF4r3oUPjaKosPoecIA&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQT&K Food Market has most everything you would need from rice paper, durian, meat, chopsticks, garlic slicer, rice bowls, food containers, hard to find ingredients and 50# bags of rice. Several yelp*ers have mentioned begin able to buy *Beerlao here; guessing it's a hard to find item.*Beerlao - Brewed from the local rice, importing malt from Belgium, hops from Germany; giving it a unique taste. It is one of the most popular mass-market brews in Southeast Asia.I zipped by the meat department and wasn't too impressed by what I saw; prices weren't much better than other markets; some shelves were relatively empty. It made me wonder how "fresh," was the fresh meat? (Shrugs)Photo - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Izq9b--qz3YwdBHJQVdQaQ&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQSeveral yelp*ers consider this their must-shop spot whether they're driving 40 minutes from a nearby city or 6 hours from the SF Bay Area. If you're in need of a hard to find ingredient, asian wares/cutlery or dry goods, there's a good chance you will find it here. Did I mention this place was huge?Which fish sauce to buy? - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=IJ4ciLuF9d0ZBmSXhnMePA&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQCustomer service: Do NOT expect great service that you'd find at the membership/return line at your local COSTCO. Again, the curt/no nonsense attitude is cultural; that comes from the International Market side of the family. Don't take it personally, it's all business.Front registers - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=IJ4ciLuF9d0ZBmSXhnMePA&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQIt seems that T&K Food Market is under new management and quality & service have declined since. (i.e. - Returns and exchanges) The freighter fiasco outside of Long Beach, overall supply shortages and the pandemic may have a lot to do with it as well.- Big Aloha!Food: 4 (Variety!)Ambiance: 3Service: 3Value: 3

If it could be a zero star it would be. The cashier is so rude and yells at the customer as well as slamming each product down after scanning items. I would recommend you go to other markets nearby.
