SweetHoney Dessert - Garden Grove

I have always loved Sweethoney desert, it has never disappointed me. There are many selections to choose from, and in a modern fun environment. Mango Pomelo Sago- super refreshing and vibrant flavors, perfect blend of mango, and the pomelo was delicious. Durian in vanilla frost with green tea ice cream- if you are a durian lover, than this is perfect for you. It was rich in flavor, and delight. Mango with mini rice balls with taro paste, was very wonderful because of the chewy rice balls. The taro past with fresh mango were satisfying.Vanilla and green tea ice cream with grass jelly was the best way to end the meal. The grass jelly was very light not sweet, the the ice cream complimented the dessert. Every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. Will continue to come back to get my sweet dessert fix.

Good dessert spot to sit down and chit chat or hang out. Lots of tables inside with a spacious interior. Doesn't get super crowded either! They have a huge selection of desserts with customizations and add-ons. They even have some savory snacks as well.- vanilla frost with mango: 8.9/10. This is my favorite dessert of theirs! The vanilla frost has a strong vanilla flavor and I love the texture. It's very thin slices of crunchy ice. It's a very unique style of shaved ice that I haven't seen before. You can also customize this dessert with any toppings you'd like. I think mangoes pair with this perfectly. You can also add grass jelly, but I think their grass jelly lacks a bit of flavor and is a little too firm for my liking.- black sesame rice balls: 8.5/10. I love black sesame so this is the perfect side/add-on. It comes out warm and the inside is a sweet ooey-gooey black sesame paste. Very tasty!- mango pancakes: 8.4/10. This is a thinly wrapped pancake with mango and whipped cream. The mango is fresh and the cream is very lightly sweetened. This is such a cute and small delectable dessert.- strawberry souffle pancakes: 5/10. The pancake is not very fluffy and lacks flavor. It is a bit dense and unsweetened. The flavor and sweetness comes from the sauce/cream on top which there was not enough of. The cream also did not have a prominent flavor.- matcha creme brulee: 5.5/10. The matcha flavor was there but this tastes more of like a flan than a creme brulee. The cream is thick and dense, as opposed to light and creamy.

SweetHoney Dessert is a great spot for satisfying a sweet tooth, especially if you enjoy Hong Kong-style desserts. I ordered the mango and sago slush with rice balls, along with the durian mochi, and both were well worth it.The mango and sago slush was refreshing and full of real mango flavor. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess, and the rice balls added a nice chewy texture. The durian mochi was soft and fresh, with a strong durian flavor that fans of the fruit will definitely appreciate.Service was efficient, and the staff was friendly when taking my order. The desserts came out fairly quickly, and everything was presented nicely.The ambience is casual and relaxed, making it a great place to hang out for a bit. The interior is simple but clean, with enough seating for small groups. It can get busy, but it never felt overwhelming.If you love fresh fruit-based desserts, this is a solid place to check out. I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu.

I was here with a few friends on Saturday at around 9pm. It is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. Indoor was spacious with plenty of tables and seats and nicely decorated.We ordered the drinks at the kiosk and eggettes at the counter. I ordered the "Sweetie" And it was delicious. It came with mini mochi, coconut shaved ice, pudding, mango and vanilla icecream. Just the perfect amount of sweetness.Service was great! Out eggette came out hot and crispy. I like how we are able to adjust sweetness level.

ORDERdurian pancakes (3/5)mango & mini rice balls (3/5)my mom really likes the durian pancakes here, however, it's a very small portion considering the price. it's filled with mostly cream as well. the mango & mini rice ball is definitely on the sweeter side. there were only 4-5 small chunks of mango at most. i got the vanilla frost on the side and it paired perfectly. SERVICEthe service was really nice and super quick as well.AMBIANCEspacious store with plenty of seats.

Will say was craving for a late night snack and not many places were open so decided to come by and check this place out The inside was pretty spacious, plenty of seating and very clean. They had 2 kiosks that you can place an order and even one person in the register. So your choice how you wanna place an order :))). Will say the order was taken out fast. So it was pretty quick to get my little dessert :))))) Mango & Mini Glutinous Rice Balls With Vanilla Ice Cream 10/10 all of it was amazing!! Will say it was sweet for my personal taste but hey it's dessert so I won't say much about it lolz. A dessert is supposed to say sweet Durian & Ice Cream With Vanilla Frost with Vanilla Ice cream 10/10 without the durian. We wanted to give the durian a try and honestly wasn't our thing but once we took it off it was amazing!!!! Extra review weather 0/10 idk if it's cuz we were by the door and was left open and after we left first thing we did was turn up the heater to full max. But WORTH BEING COLD FOR!!! Despite the coldness of the weather would come again and try more stuff. Kinda wish I could adjust the sweetness level but it ain't a biggie :)))

Ehhh not sure I would come back here. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing?! I had the mango black rice snow dessert. The mango was not very sweet, the rice was undercooked and the snow was minimal. There were a lot of people there, the space is pretty sizable and clean and the service is passable. The parking lot is huge but the dessert that I ordered was not good, unfortunately. A risky option given all others in the area.

What a tasty dessert place in the heart of Garden Grove. There is a lively social but calm crowd here and the desserts are spectacular served by a very friendly and efficient young staff that cares.I had the Durian Black Thai Sticky Rice with Shaved ice and it was super delish.Hope I come here again because I really enjoyed it.

BEES KNEES. I don't even know what kind of dessert this is. It just looked good. I hate durian! I pulled up to order and leveled with the workers that I don't know what I'm looking at. They chose for me. All I know is that there was mochi, mango and chewy balls floating around in some vanilla shaved ice soup and it was soooo good. Sorry this wasn't helpful, but if you have doubts due to not having tried this, this is your review.

I've been to SweetHoney Dessert more times than I'd like to admit, but surprisingly don't have any pictures! I typically get the mango pomelo sago dessert (9/10) with a scoop of ice cream, but I also have tried the different durian desserts. I generally enjoy their desserts, but I don't like any of their mochi. From the mini mochi balls, to the actual durian mochis etc., the texture is always off (mushy even). The durian pancakes and mochis were awful in my opinion (2/10). I've also had their eggette (durian strawberry with matcha) which was alright but a bit too toasty 6/10, and their takoyaki which is a 7/10 pretty good. The service is alright, the food comes out pretty fast and if there's any issues the workers are understanding and fix it right away. It's never empty when I go (typically weekend night) but it's not difficult to find seating. Also they do have solicitors who come by occasionally into the store.
