Very good sushi restaurant nice environment, very clean. Good menu, nice staff.crunchy roll really was delicious.Located in Mission Viejo, off of Avery Parkway.Cooked food, sushi, sushi rolls, rice bowls, tempura. Etc.

We yelped this place think it was an all you can it. Unfortunately, it's not. So we ordered the following items: chicken & beef bento box which had a lot of salad, shrimp lover which was my favorite, crab dot com was okay, and sexy girl was okay.Restaurant Rating:- Favor: 6 out of 10- Food Portion: 6 out of 10- Cleanliness: 7 out of 10- Service: 6 out of 10- Restrooms: 7 out of 10Overall, my experience was okay. My experience was about 3.5. Not sure, if I would be back because the restaurant is out of my way.

Initially, the name threw me off because I remember when Soup Plantation was around and that was a buffet style restaurant. I thought this place was similar, but it's not. And for the record, this is one of the best sushi restaurants in the area. The fish is always fresh and care is taken into preparing their various sushi rolls. THE FOOD. - So Rude (So Good!) Roll | Silky salmon slices wrapped around spicy crab and topped with baked scallops. There's no rice in this dish, it's all protein. Truly, so good! I highly recommend this. - Sunrise on Avery Roll | Spicy shrimp, crab, and avocado on the inside. Tuna, masago, and cilantro are placed on top of this roll. Chef's sauce is drizzled throughout. I can see why this is a popular roll. - Spanish Mackerel Sushi | I love a fishy fish! This is silky tender and all around delicious. Highly recommend. - Sweet Candy Roll | It's basically shrimp & avocado on top of shrimp & avocado. Chili oil and eel sauce are drizzled for a spicy, sweet finish. - Lobster Roll | Baked langostino and avocado with masago on top. It's usually wrapped in soy paper, but I asked to have it wrapped in seaweed instead and I loved it!THE DRUNK DRINKS. - Strawberry Nigori | Sweet, semi-creamy, strawberry flavor. This has a mild saki taste. I thought it was pretty good. THE PARKING. Free parking spots available outside of the restaurant. THE RESERVATION. No reservations but the dinner time is pretty hectic starting at about 6PM. Try to go a bit earlier to avoid the dinner rush. THE RETURN?I've already been back several times. Like I said, it's one of the best sushi places in the area!

This place is such a hidden gem! Parking was easy, and we didn't have to wait for a table. The ingredients were super fresh, and the service was solid. We ordered three sushi rolls, and our favorite was king of orange. The place was packed that day, so it felt a bit hectic, and the extra order we added later took over 20 minutes. But once we mentioned it, the staff handled it really well. Overall, it was a great dining experience! If you're in the area or passing by, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

Have tried multiple rolls and Sushi Plantation never disappoints! Service is good and fairly quick!

They've got a lot of options and the sushi is really good! We were surprised to find their happy hour too. We got there just before 6pm and they still let us order from the happy hour menu. $10.99 on select roles and $3.50 for a Japanese beer. I also like that they have Hi Protein aka no rice rolls. I got the Long Island that had spicy tuna and crab inside but wrapped with tuna instead of rice. Perfect for those trying to lose weight but still love sushi like me! It's on the pricey side though $20 for hi protein roll.

I called for a reservation and the person who answered was so friendly and assured me we would be all set. I had not been here in years and evidently, there are new owners and they have made some great upgrades, There were 7 of us and the service was phenomenal. I am super picky about sashimi and the sashimi melted in my mouth and the presentation was amazing. We tried several different rolls and I loved every one of them. My cousin ordered the spicy chicken wings and they came out piping hot. I definitely will go back.

Service is nice and the ambiance is clean. Plenty of tables. We had the Hawaiian Roll, Albacore Killer and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice. They were pretty good :)

Wonderfully fresh fish, and exciting rolls. I did think there were too many spicy roll options though. They have a fantastic happy hour with a lot of options. I believe each roll on the HH menu was $10.99! Great deal these days.

This is a fantastic lil place. They have so many good rolls- great prices, fast service and great portions. It is small and intimate I've been coming here for a while now and I can't seem to find anything else better in this area.
