Excellent brunch spot in Buena Park! Our waiter was new to the restaurant but honestly, he was the one who made our time here memorable. I'm bummed we didn't get his name. Great customer service from the wait staff, the cook even delivered our plates to the table. Everyone was so nice and hospitable. Cozy atmosphere. I ordered the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and potatoes. I opted for the biscuits with gravy. Everything was delicious. My daughter ordered the Portuguese sausage with scrambled eggs and potatoes. We shared an order of French toast. Washed it down with some coffee.Will add this place to our rotation of brunch spots. We can't wait to bring the rest of the family here.

My guy was looking forward to taking me to the Sunrise Cafe, except he wanted to take me to the Long Beach location. From his dining experience there, he really loved the Philly cheesesteak scramble.He said he would go several days in a row just to get it .When he noticed that we were near a sunrise café, he was excited .Come to find out they do not have the same owner. I think they have the same menu. The same owner may have once started it, then sold? Ambience was there, I just wasn't too sold on the food.It was mediocre at best.Service was great. I can't say I would return for the food.

A hidden gem! Food is simple and delicious. In house made condiments. Plenty of food for the excellent price. Service outstanding. Customize easy. Diner style. Try it.

Food.... fresh, hot and plentiful. Service....amazing, so kind and attentive. Ambiance.....diner vibe with menus laminated on table top! We'll be back.

We found a hole in the wall brunch place!! So close by to where we live! I already see us coming back to this brunch place. Excellent service from our waitress this morning. She was very attentive. We ordered orange juice and coffee (free refills). For food, I was debating to ordered the Philly Cheese Steak or Country Fried Steak with eggs. I ended up ordered the country fried steak and eggs and it definitely hit the spot! Going to have to make another trip back to try the Philly Cheesesteak now. My husband ordered the Chilaquiles and I love the flavors but maybe next time we can add protein to this dish. We were so happy we found this wonderful gem that is so close by to us. Our waitress was very attentive, she made sure we have water and coffee filled up. Orange juice was fresh orange juice and really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to trying other things on their menu!

First time trying the local neighborhood cafe. From the outside it looks like a small carry out breakfast shop but don't let it fool you. There's plenty seating inside with very clean and country style vibe and decorum. The service was excellent! The food was good! The bathroom was clean! That already deserves a five star the portions are pretty sizable and may need a to-go box. I had the chiliques with eggs and home fries, also the country fried steak and eggs. Gravy was delicious. So good and piping hot. We will come back and try more.

My first time visiting this fine establishment in the 30+ years I have living in the local area. The place is very quaint and it reminded me of a cafe I ate at numerous times during my younger years in Portland, Maine, before joining the military. The service is excellent and has a friendly atmosphere. Food is great. Price for breakfast is the average as anywhere else. I order a coffee (refilled constantly) and the Waffle Combo. Before tax and tip my food bill is $18.90. My next visit I will try the "chicken fried steak" plate of the or the "hungry man" plate. YUM YUM

Went in for early Easter breakfast, very cute local spot. The food was delicious and the price was very affordable. I ordered the breakfast burrito was very yummy. The service was very quick and the servers checked up us on a lot. They kept asking us if we needed anything or if we needed coffee / water refills.

Been coming here for years whenever I'm waiting for my car to be done by Firestone across the street. Great place for some taste breakfast along with friendly staff. You honestly can't go wrong with anything here.

I'm always looking for new places to eat and a friend of mine recommended sunrise so I figured I'd give it a shot. It's hidden within a small shopping center.We were greeted right away and they told us to choose our seats so we went with a booth. They have kids menus upon request but the regular menu is in the table. I had an omelet, my boyfriend had a Philly cheese steak & my son had the pancakes. Everything was very delicious. The server was fantastic. He had several tables to attend but he never fell short from being attentive. Overall, it's a cute spot with great service and delicious food. I highly recommend it for breakfast.
