Note to self, the XLB doesn't have much juice inside. Also the potstickers are rather flavorless. Next time I'll forgo those two. The Special Wonton Soup is better than the regular because you get a nice splash of Sesame Oil in it to make the flavors pop. My base order will always be...- Special Wonton Soup - Pork Wontons In Spicy Sauce- Onion Pancake ... plus another rotating different dish each time

"You will have many friends when you need them". That was the fortune in my dessert cookie tonight at Sullivan Restaurant.I am a big fan of this place. My girl and I rolled in here at for an early dinner. Pot stickers, Orange chicken, white rice. We had a feast on this fresh tasty authentic Chinese food.The service is impeccable, friendly and efficient. The ambiance is this chill beach town Chinese restaurant kind of place.The menu is extensive and everything is made-to-order and fresh!"Don't pursue happiness, cause it!" That was my girls fortune! It is almost like they know her.East here and get a good fortune of your own!

We ordered take out....had to ask for chopsticks...got home to find no condiments, fortune cookies or napkins... ruined my romantic evening in.

Amazing Chinese food. Dont let the name Sullivan dissuade you. Had the Kung Pao lunch special. Nice portions. Good quality veggies. White meat chicken. Tender and perfectly cooked. Hot and sour soup was the best I ever had. Pancake crispy outside and chewy inside. Homemade dumplings. like grandma's cooking. Love this place.

Really good Chinese! Don't let the name fool you, very authentic, high quality food. I have to try more of theme u but everything so far was great!

Our take-out order, from this Chinese restaurant, was delicious! Don't be fooled by their name! Our favorite Chinese restaurant in Costa Mesa closed last year and we've been trying different places ever since then, but I think Sullivan's will be THE Chinese restaurant for us now! FYI: I don't think it's always the same person who answers the phone for orders, but if it's a gentleman, he may be hard to understand (and he'll have a harder time understanding you). Just remember, if you were required to speak another language, it could be tough...patience is a virtue!

So SAD--Prices have more than doubled, smaller portions, quality of food has greatly gone down---

Delicious traditional Chinese. I love the family restaurant feel. They're not just another franchise restaurant.

I ordered soup and the dry noodles for the egg flower soup where stale. So that was not good. The restaurant is very clean will go again and try something else. No fortune cookie or almond cookie was included in my order. So that was disappointing.
