So during the day, Submarine Crab becomes Submarine Cafe. They serve noodle dishes that are usually served as breakfast in an Asian home. Since I haven't had sup nui in a while, I went here, and ordered that. It reminded me of my mother's cooking right off the bat. It is a really simple dish, but nonetheless, this dish was executed well. The staff here is really friendly, and was very helpful in giving me more info on the items they served on the menu. Given it may be your typical, any restaurants in Little Saigon Mecca is "typical."Food here. 10. Staff here. 10. Service. 10. Overall, 10. If you're coming in here for an upscale service, then you're purposely coming in here to write a low review. Come on. Name me a unique boba shop that serves simple home cooked meals that your mom may make at home for you. Also, be nice. There's a pandemic still. The heatwave this month is unforgiving and people is out here still trying to meet ends meet.

This pop-up brunch outside of Submarine Crawfish is your typical Vietnamese breakfast cuisine-nothing fancy or modernize like Nep (part of Gem on Warner); similar to, per se, Z Cafe and Saigon View; however, much more flavorful and no MSG aftertaste. We ordered the bo ne (beef and eggs), bo kho (beef stew), bun thit nuong, calamari, beef noodle (ramen like noodle with filet mignon cube), egg rolls, and bun bo hue (Hue beef soup). All the dishes were on point. My favorite would have been their soup and beef. For drinks, we got the avocado shake and Vietnamese coffee. Nothing unique, simply the typical boba shop smoothie. However, you like your coffee bitter/bold, make sure you request for extra shots. It was somewhat blended compare to other places in Bolsa.

Stopped by with my coworkers today and we decided to give this new place a try. This was my first time trying Bun Cha Gio, and I ordered mine without the pork meat, but it was still delicious. The egg roll filling was seasoned very well, they were nice and crispy, and the sauce for the noodles was a little spicy for me, but they quickly gave me a non-spicy version that was perfect. The food did take a little long, which made us a bit late coming back to work, but it was worth it. Maybe next time we'll just order ahead, but overall it was a great lunch and we will definitely come by again. Very attentive staff also.

Newly opened during covid, submarine cafe serves a few selections of different kinds of Vietnamese breakfast's and coffees. They remind me of a home cooked meal, served quickly and without fanfare but cute quaint and comforting. Service was good however our server didn't speak much english. Reasonably priced.

Found this place and Yelp and was super excited to try it. Drove to the location and saw that they're closed but it says open til 3pm. Called a few times and no answer at all. Maybe don't advertise you are open and available when you actually aren't. Loved coming to submarine crab for the crawfish but will not be coming back
