Fantastic food with a very nice staff member. I missed his name but he had black hair, well kept beard, glasses and worked very hard. He was always cleaning and very friendly. The dining area was very clean and welcoming.Between the three of us, we got the small Egyptian pizza, calzone and a sweet fried dough. It was very filling and the perfect amount of food. They made everything fresh so while we did wait about 20-ish minutes, it was worth the wait. No line on a Monday afternoon with plenty of seating and parking. Mixed meat small Egyptian pizza: crispy on the outside, loaded with meat and cheese on the inside. Very savory and flavorful. Didn't need the hot sauce and garlic parmesan they provided but the sauces were also good. Similar to a stuffed savory baklava. Soujouk Hawawshy: essentially a sausage thin crust calzone. Also tasty but I preferred the pizza. Meshaltet: very crispy fried dough with cream and honey on the side. Very buttery and delicious. I could eat 4 more of those with some tea. We had a great time and I've been recommending it to everyone I know. I hope to come back again with more friends and family.

Along Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach, Stuffed Egyptian Pie offers a taste of Egypt in the form of flaky, stuffed pies that feel both familiar and excitingly different. This small, casual spot specializes in feteer--an Egyptian pastry that's crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful fillings.I went with the Mixed Meat, Egyptian-style, and the Zaatar Cheese pie. The mixed meat was packed with seasoned beef and sausage, layered with cheese, tomatoes, and peppers, all wrapped in thin, buttery pastry. It came with a couple of dipping sauces--one tangy and tomato-based, the other a creamy garlic sauce--that added even more depth to each bite. The zaatar cheese pie was a different kind of treat, earthy and aromatic from the zaatar spice, balanced by the rich, gooey mix of cheeses. Both were incredibly satisfying. The portions are generous--one pie easily feeds two people, and they offer half-and-half options for those who want to mix things up. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality ingredients and craftsmanship make it worth it. The space itself is simple, with an open kitchen where you can see the pies being made fresh.

Like nothing else in Huntington Beach! low bar, but still... don't alarm when you walk into this restaurant and you feel overwhelmed. It is typical.Don't be fooled by the "American" and "Mexican" alternatives to the Egyptian house special pastry. The staff is warm and welcoming and friendly and able to maintain their patience and composure while each guest asks for an explanation of the menu.Definitely a wonderful option for corporate lunches or dinner parties!

A new take on stuffed pizza. You can get a variety of toppings in three variations: Egyptian style, Mexican style, or American Style. Of course we got the Mixed Meat in Egyptian style. It's full of flavor that's NOT TOO SALTY. Unlike traditional stuffed crusted pizzas, their dough is lighter and thinner than your traditional pizza dough. The top crust is flaky, BUT their bottom dough gets soggy and cannot hold its shape for long before it folds onto itself. The ground beef had much flavor and dipped into their spicy and garlic dipping sauces increased its flavor profile. A small size fed me and my pregnant wife. It was just enough to satisfy her craving. Bathrooms nice but wasn't well stocked. We will come back and try other flavors and maybe in the American style also. The Mexican style didn't look very special, almost like a hot dog but great new take on pizza.

Wanted to try this place because we saw it on social media. We got the half and half pizza. We got chicken ranch and mixed meat. It's different but delicious! I loved the thin "crust". We had some left over so we took it to-go but it wasn't that great the next day because the crust was super soggy even though we put it in our air fryer so would recommend eating it all at the restaurant :) I'll be coming back to try the other toppings!

Excellent food. But terrible customer service...So we arrived and having never been there before we wanted to take a look at the menu. The lady at the counter asked us what we wanted as soon as we walked up to the counter and with her unprompted attitude was cold in her presence, almost making you want to catch an attitude back with her. I mean gesh, we just walked through the door. With this not being a style of pizza most Americans would eat or are even aware of, one would assume she would be more kind in her approach and try to ask us if we had any questions. Nope. Pro tip: If you are bothered by being there then you should look at a new career field. The service was lack luster to the point that it overshadowed the amazing food, which seemed like she did not have a hand in making, since we know that to make a difference.I wonder if there are any other Egyptian style places around because I would definitely not go back if there were. Perhaps until then, if I choose to go back I will have to hope she is not there to dampen the atmosphere.3 stars are for the food, which is truly a 5 but the service is a 2 at best.

This is a nice and clean place that's a little out of the way but provides some unique Egyptian American fusion. If you're looking for something new to try that's out of your comfort zone but at the same time has a refreshingly different flavor, I recommend this location. The Egyptian pie is delicious, really savory and they provide a tomatoey spicy sauce and a garlic sauce to dip with, seriously good stuff. The small is enough for two people or one person with a big appetite. It does take about 20-30 minutes to make the pie so keep that in mind. There aren't many employees, but it's not very busy, even on Saturday at lunch which is when we went.

I saw this spot online and wanted to try it. Finally made it over there on a Monday at lunchtime and was given many helpful suggestions by the very nice lady at the register. We trusted her and we were not disappointed!! So flavorful and the dough is very unique and delicious too. Didn't give us that too full feeling. If you like pizza and want to try a different take on it, check out stuffed!

First and foremost keep in mind this is not a pizza stromboli. This is a meat pie. You can also get vegetarian, or just cheese. You choose from 3 styles...- Egyptian style is a large flat thin disc of flaky pastry, then toppings, then another layer of pastry on top- Mexican style is like a burrito. It is the thin flaky pastry rolled up with the toppings inside- American style is more bready like a bun stuffed with toppingsYou then choose small or large size. You can also choose half and half if you want to try 2 different combinations of toppings. We got a large half and half Egyptian style. It's definitely big enough for 4 people. The Mixed Meat combo was decent and included diced tomatoes, diced green peppers, and cheese. It had an interesting flavor that I couldn't place. It was almost like a curry taste. I'm not sure if I liked that. The Zaatar Cheese combo was great with a variety of cheeses and we added diced chicken to it. I liked it. We didn't choose the regular Mixed Cheese combo because that one had Blue Cheese in it.They come with 3 dipping sauces that honestly you don't even need. The stuffed pies are already very flavorful. The sauces are Egyptian renditions of Sweet Chili, Honey Mustard, and Spicy sauce. The latter of which wasn't spicy at all. They seem to keep their stoda machine turned off and say there's no ice available. So you need to order cans of soda. The Egyptian lady who works there is not very friendly. We made it clear that we were first timers and she did not provide any guidance. When we left we found the kitchen guy having a smoke break leaning on our car.

we stumbled on this place by accident. a must visit will go back again. bit of a drive for us but the food is worth it. tried their Hawawshy; liver sandwich which I ordered xtra spicy; boghasha( too heavy with Egyptian eshta) and sweet potatoes with ice cream. we will go back again for sure. very reasonably priced for Egyptian food with an American twist. clean and very friendly staff they offered to remake the boghasha less heavy but I was too full.
