Garlic Butter Shrimp, Taro Colada (lavender) Missionary's Downfall (yellow), Birds of Paradise (orange), and The Queen's Ritual.
The sauce on their fries was heavenly, though the fries themselves were pretty soggy.

Got there at 5 for my birthday for a reservation until 7. Ordered three drinks, an appetizer, two entrees and two desserts for the two of us. The food was overhyped, the drinks were okay. The lumpia was really good, everything else was overdone with too many ingredients. We got two burgers (burger meat was over cooked, the spam was an overkill, they forgot the eggs on both, onion rings were good) the tater tots with curry flavor was a combo I wished didn't exist. We ate them but weren't stoked about them. The Mac and cheese was super bland and had a strange cumin aftertaste. The lumpia was A+. The drinks were just okay, they weren't mind blowing like I anticipated. The bananas foster was fantastic and interesting, the brownie was just okay. At 6:10, the bartender asks us if we are going to leave. I say 'oh sorry, I thought our reservation said we could stay until 7' upon which he profusely stated he wasn't trying to get us to leave. BRO. You literally just asked if we were going to leave. I've been a server for almost a decade and I know when I'm being rushed. That part was awful. Probably not coming back but that's what I get for trying a new restaurant on my birthday that's outside of LA.

I'm honestly envious of everyone else who lives closer to this place. I have an hour's drive if there's zero traffic, so I can't get here nearly as much as I'd like.Ying greeted me at the door - a nice surprise! I've been away too long. And sooo great seeing the elusive Robert!!! Felt like old times.I managed to squeeze in on the waitlist just after they opened at 4pm, solely due to Ying. And I am absolutely take care of! Everyone at the bar introduced themselves when I was seated.Had a "3 Dots and a Dash," and the new Kurobota Pork Osso Bucco. The former was delicious and had a satisfying strength, the latter was very tender and fell off the bone. I ask that Chef Kling be complimented. I have yet to find anything from him that I'm not really appreciative of.I MUST come back sooner!!!!

We've been to a lot of tiki bars in Los Angeles--trust me, we've done the research. And within the LA-to-Anaheim radius, Strong Water Anaheim is hands-down the best. The mood, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the servers--it all comes together to create an immersive, transportive experience that makes you forget you're in Anaheim. And can we talk about the bathroom? Yes, the bathroom. I spent 15 minutes in there, just admiring the creativity and detail that went into its design. When a place puts that much effort into their restroom, you know they've thought of everything. If you're in Anaheim and don't stop by, that's honestly your loss. We've been to so many tiki bars in LA, and somehow, the one we love the most is an hour away from home--but completely worth the drive. If you're into tiki culture, craft cocktails, or just incredible vibes, Strong Water Anaheim is a must-visit.

We've been coming here since they opened and the quality of food and drinks are amazing! They do have a seasonal menu, and I recommend going in as soon as you can and trying the osso buco before it's gone. Beautifully tender and fall off the bone entree with amazing miso flavors. They have classic tiki drinks such as the mai tai which is always a delicious choice here. Also tried the spice trade... strong spice flavors that remind me of christmas while still being spirit forward. If you're not sure what to order, ask the servers as they have strong knowledge on all the drinks!Try to make a reservation so that you can sit inside! The inside is beautiful to look at; the theme is a sunken pirate ship. It is dim quiet and romantic. So much to look at, even in the restrooms!

I've tried to get reservations here the last three times I've been in the area and finally the planets aligned and I was able to snag a reservation during the weekend that I was in town. We had a party of four and we were seated in the Captains Quarters. The ambiance here makes you feel like you are actually stepping onto a sunken ship. So much attention to detail! All of the staff was AMAZING! From the front door, to the servers, to the bar tenders, every encounter was top notch! We didn't eat much this time, but what we ordered was very good. We tried the sticky wings. These were done well. My only suggestion would be a little more sauce. The drinks however...we had lots of those! My personal favorites were the Pineapple Whipped Colada and the Banana Batida. The rest of my party tried the Zombie King, Tales Black Lagoon, Ships old fashioned, and the Birds of Paradise. Every drink was well made and worth what we paid. This is a fully immersive experience and my only complaint is that I live so far away and will only be able to visit like 4 times a year!

My husband and I are tiki enthusiasts and had been drying to try Strong Water in Anaheim. We finally got a babysitter and landed a reservation on a Friday night in January. I suggest grabbing your reservation about at least a month in advance. They were fully reserved for the night we went.We sat at the bar in the Captain's Quarters. The service was fantastic. Very attentive and fast. It was great seeing the vast collection of tiki mugs and rums. The decor was very nice. The drinks were absolutely amazing. The Zombie King was my favorite; bold flavor of molasses, balanced, and delicious. The food was also good, and I especially enjoyed the curry tots. We can't wait to go back for another date night!

Amazing staff amazing drinks and amazing food. I have been to tiki bars such as vintiki in Ventura county and this is a level up with it's theme and staffing. Definitely always recommend to get the bar and talk to your bar tender for recommendations and options, it's a much deeper experience. Food wise the short ribs were good and reminded me of a better Ono Hawaiian BBQ. Desert wise the banana foster is like a cake but I'd prefer the OG way. Bring a sweater and your ID! Keep up the good work, it shows in your staff and revolving drink menu!

Food: 4/5Drinks: 5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5Price: 4/5Stopped by on a Tuesday evening (with a reservation). Joey, the GM, was helping at the host stand. He was exceptionally kind and welcoming. After another group cancelled, he got us in early and at a nice table (nearby the grotto). Josh was our server. He had great recommendations and went the extra mile for us. Fantastic experience. Can't wait to return!

We were just here for Mahallowen but we had to return again for their Christmas Happy Hula Days drink menu. We always like to sit at the bar in the rear Captains Quarters area. Our bartender was Gina who was super friendly and had amazing knowledge about both the food and drinks. I started out with the Frostbite which is a really great chocolatey minty cocktail. She started with the Nightingaile which had a nice egg white top and great citrus notes. I had the Midnight Sleigh Ride which was great and had a lot of herbal notes. The Toucan in a Pear Tree was good, really liked the vanilla notes but the brandy was a little too prominent for her. I had to try the Dead to Port because it was still on the holiday special menu for several months now and Gail had mentioned that this cocktail actually got a big write up in a popular column. The spiced cranberry real takes the alcohol down a good 50% or more for a delicious cocktail. For food, we had the tempura green beans again as well as the chicken and veggie wontons. All the times we've been here, I have never had the Loco Moco burger so I ordered it. It is a HUGE plate of food and I could barely eat 2/3 of the burger and we barely out a dent in the tater tots. We will definitely be back again soon!

Whenever we tell people about this place it doesn't do it justice. You just have to take them there to experience it for themselves. We can't wait to try it again. The place has the coolest vibe and the staff really wants your experience to be a fun one. Oh and the food! U will die for the mushroom dish.
