Sorrento's Restaurant

Despite an obvious lack of ambiance, this place still gets the top score for food quality and portion size.Ordered were a pizza, a spaghetti and Meatballs meal and an order of chicken cacciatore with an extra salad. Additional bread was also ordered, with three soft drinks. The total was $92, which may seem extreme for three people at a not-too-fancy eatery, but leftovers will provide at least three more meals.Service was great, as always, and food was top notch in terms of taste.What more needs to be said?

I was craving pizza and had mistakenly placed an Uber Eats order for this "Sorrento's Restaurant" in San Pedro rather than a different Sorrento's establishment located near my house. Aside from the initial confusion and longer wait time due to the delivery driver's commute, this had turned out to be a wonderful mistake. The medium-sized pizza I ordered was generously piled with toppings under the cheese. The pizza itself was delicious and the marinara sauce was super flavorful! I also ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were fortunately still edible by the time my order had arrived. In fact, they were actually still quite good. My boyfriend ordered a small chicken parm sandwich and he scarfed it down immediately. It's safe to say we both loved the food from this establishment and I'm looking forward to actually dining in sometime in the future. Totally recommend to anyone in San Pedro looking for some great pizza. Support your local businesses!

Some of our favorites here:Antipasto Salad w Cherry Peppers and Creamy Italian Dressing on the side.Garlic Bread is a winner !Chicken Marsala is a very nice entree with vegetables on the side.Meatballs and Italian Sausages are both great with their marinara sauce or with melted cheese on a sub Sandwich.Of course their Pizza is quite tasty too..only problem is they don't deliver.Tip: save yourself some money by paying with cash.New owners are former employees of many years, and are totally keeping up the quality and traditions !

The service is always good when I eat there, and their red sauce is always so delicious with their lasagne and spaghetti with meatballs

My friend treated me for dinner and we had a good experience. She usually gets a pizza but I swayed her to share an entree and appetizer. It may have been a special but the lasagna came with meatballs in addition to salad and bread. I particularly liked the salad because it included garbanzo beans and kidney beans. I appreciated that extra source of protein. They were kind enough to split the salad. Our server was a nice dude with personality. The complimentary birthday ice cream made my evening. I decided to visit this restaurant on a friend's recommendation, and I'm glad I did. On a leisurely Saturday morning, seeking refuge from the summer heat, I drove over an hour to try it out. I arrived just before opening time, but the staff welcomed me in to peruse the menu. I soon discovered their most popular item was the Torpedo Sandwich, so I ordered it as soon as I was seated when the restaurant opened.Though the space is modest, it exudes a cozy, homey atmosphere. My sandwich arrived quickly, accompanied by a fresh, crispy side salad with a delicious blue cheese dressing. The sandwich itself was fantastic--freshly made bread, perfectly balanced meat and cheese. I finished it in under 10 minutes, still feeling a bit peckish, so I decided to try the Tiramisu. It came out swiftly and was absolutely delightful.I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area!

Went here with a friend on a weekendOrdered a large pizza and sandwich (Turkey Cheese Avocado). For the price, I got exactly the right amount, if not slightly more. I smelled the spaghetti; tre bien! I gotta try it next time.Some friends in Pedro complain about the crust being too think; I'm a traditionalist for thick crust pizza, and it works...but apparently you can request thinner.Sandwich is straightforward. Good meats, staff is always willing to customize. Friendly people; the owner, Pedro, is awesome!

We just moved to San Pedro & found this gem. The lunch specials are exceptional for value & taste, so are the sandwiches & pizza. We love this place! The marinara is chef's kiss good, and I usually don't like red sauces that much since they can be bland.I also want to compliment Alan (or is it Allen?), the server that we usually see there, he is great, so attentive & nice! And shout-out to the staff at the takeout counter, they're very nice & make sure they get the order right :)

Food was good as usual. Guy with the big fat nasty hickey on his neck taking the order was a dickhead. Just rude, who would put someone at the cash register that looked like that is beyond... oh did I mention his hairy ass chest with his shirt unbuttoned? I hope it wasn't in my food... eek!! I used to love this place, not going back. No class

Food is delicious, service is awful, we had Ruby she was just rude. It's not like the old days. We tried again another waitress was just plain mad we showed up at 7:30 pm. She informed us as we were eating they close at 8 pm. Service needs an overhaul!
