Saw this place after shopping at Hmart and knew I had to come back and try it. It's located in a small food court attached to Hmart with many asian restaurants around. Most people that come here do takeout but I decided to eat there. I came with two others and we ordered the Regular Wang Jokbal. The lady there was super nice and we were served within a couple minutes with 6 banchan plates, a bowl of rice, along with water cups (self serve machine in front of their booth area). There was a lot of jokbal. A lot of slices and even some of knuckle pieces next to it. The banchan was so delicious especially the perilla leaves. The tomatoey kinda acidic and sweet flavor of it was perfect with the jokbal. We pretty much cleared all of the banchan and asked for a box to take the leftovers go. This place is so good and would definitely come back here for takeout next time.

I've gotten the jokbal combo for takeout a couple times, and I thought it was good each time! The jokbal is so flavorful and tender. It felt like a fair portion for the price since it easily fed 3 people. They place the pig trotter bones under all the meat. They're nice to chew on, and I also like cutting off the meat and making fried rice with it. The soondae is tasty too. The combo came with fresh garlic, jalapenos, picked jalapenos, radish, sauced perilla leaves, and rice as sides. It's a great takeout spot since they package everything so nicely. They're located inside the hmart food court.

My favorite Jokbal (pork trotter) place. My usual is the large Wang Jokbal ($63) which comes with banchan, delicious garlic, and lasts my boo and I at least 3 meals. They also serve kookbap and sikye. Located inside the Hmart food court, this place is a gem. Traditional Korean food at its finest, and they show videos of how they marinate the pork trotter. One of the videos on loop is this Korean celebrity Hong Jin Kyung drinking soup right in front, who you might recognize as one of the Singles Inferno hosts. There's a Restroom that the food court shares, code is 1357. Parking:A large parking lot shared by Hmart and the surrounding stores in the strip mall.

I go here once every two months. It is good every time we go. I had family from korea try this place and they were so impressed with the Jokbal and soondae. They felt it was authentic, well made and better than the jokbal in Seoul! I would highly recommend this place. The icing on the top is the professional and kind lady that may be the owner. She is extremely sweet, kind and fast at getting the order ready. "So moon nan" means well known and famous. Well named and a must try if you like soondae and jokbal.

Amazing food and great service. The jokbal is so fresh and packaged so well. The Bossam is also so juicy and fresh. The servings are also large and overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good jokbal and Bossam.

As a Korean, I can say this place is legit.Pork trotters and blood sausages, while being Korean delicacies, can be nasty if not prepared properly. The food here is very clean and well-handled.Spicy pork trotters is a must-try.

We called in for pick-up and got the Jokbal and Soondae combo. Soondae was not good for my taste, but their jokbal is soooo tender! Honestly can't stop thinking about it. Next time I'll be coming back for just to jokbal.

Was craving Korean but didn't want the heaviness of bbq, so bossam sounded like the perfect choice. Navigated to So Moon Nan Jokbal and was surprised for a sec that it was located inside the H-Mart food court--heads up, if anyone else was like me and stumbled across this randomly from maps/Google/Yelp. The bossam is said to be enough for two to three people, according to the menu;but my partner and I left with enough leftovers for another meal for both of us--generous portions would be an understatement here! The pork belly was cooked to perfection, and we were given an awesome selection of kimchi to go along with our meal. Although you're dining in a humble grocery store food court, I think that adds to the charm, authenticity and overall dining experience. My hot take: Mister Bossam's bossam doesn't come close to So Moon Nan Jokbal's! Will definitely come back!

The side dishes!!! If I heard it right, they made the side dishes themselves, and it was really good. Dare I say one of the best kimchis(regular one and Perilla leaves-깻잎 장아찌) I had from Orange County!Jokbal was really good too. It was thin, which made it easier to eat. My partner's first time eating it and he enjoyed as it was small portions, and I think it made it not too "scary looking" even for foreign people. Generous amount of ssam(lettuces) too! Only minus for me was that this restaurant is part of the H mart food court, so not so dining feeling for the price. Regardless, I would definitely revisit!
