Smashed Out

Yo Ryan what up brother is ur establishment still open? I have not been able to place an order in a long time. If u closed thats sad cause u guys had a cool thing going on loved the concept more restaurants should do the same.

without exaggeration, 2 out of 5 times they cancel your order. would love to review them on their food, but all they do is let you hang for 20 minutes then send you a cancel text. JUST LIST THE STORE AS CLOSED IF YOU RAN OUT OF FOOD. stop waiting your customers time.

Burger was kind of dry. Double patty. Grilled onions and pickles made the burger taste better with the buttered bun. Did not really taste the sauce. The burger has an umami flavor to it. Service was reasonable speed wise. I don't think I will come back here. Hidden spot. Small parking lot. Ordered on kiosk and it did not print out a receipt. Got a text with a link that updates when my food is ready. Fries are terrible. Tasted like they fried with a fish. Frozen fries. Not the best. Typical thousand island sauce. They had music in the lobby and two benches you can take a seat at.

Beware of this place. I was looking forward to a smash burger, unfortunately I received something closer to a elementary school cheeseburger. This place definitely is not what it looks like on Instagram. The Patties were not smashed at all. They were just thin meat. No crisp no flavor. They weren't even hot. The burger comes with nothing. No sauce, no toppings, just meat, cheese and bun. Even ordering extra sauce for 0.75 cents I received absolutely nothing until I had to drive back to ask for sauce because it was that dry. The fries were very soggy and cold.The sauce is a mix of mayo and ketchup. It's giving absolutely nothing to the burger. We waited 35-40 minutes for cold food and our order to be wrong. Don't go here unless you would love to be disappointed, even then, just rob a school lunch cafeteria because at least then you'd get a drink and a fruit with your meal.

I love how this place is open 24/7 very convenient for late night munchies. I love the smashed out sauce with my cheeseburger ! the bread is crispy on the edges pairs so well with the smashed patty

I'll start off by saying I love the concept here! You order online or on a tablet inside and get a text when your order is ready. You check in either on the tablet or through the text to unlock the locker your food is in and you go on your merry way. Here are the issues, firstly they are located in an industrial area and there isn't a sign that actually says smashed out, I assumed I had incorrect directions until I saw two other cars drive by me and I followed them. Second issue is the instructions are not super clear. I initially ordered online and got a 40 min estimated wait which seems like an insane wait time at 3am. As I waited I read though some reviews and someone mentioned checking in when you arrive so I went inside and checked in on the tablet. The tablet then said 7-14 minutes until my order would be ready. From that point it was 13 minutes and my order was ready. I can only assume they do not make your order when you place the online order but rather A) plan it to be ready at the time the online app states or B) they make it once you check in. Either way that's not clearly conveyed at all. When the online order was placed the text sent said the order was being prepared. It would make more sense to have the message read "order placed, please check in upon arrival" or something if that sort. Looking back at reviews this seems to have been an issue for a year now so I'm not sure how invested the owners are on correcting this. If I rated solely on the experience it would have been one star but the food wasn't bad. I got a double smashed out with fries and smashed out sauce. You can pass on the sauce it's nothing to write home about. The burger was a good burger with a nice amount of cheese and the fries tasted fresh and not overly seasoned. My only criticism which is a big one is it wasn't a smash burger. That's what I've been craving and with the location and item name it led me to believe I would be getting a smash burger. It was a normal burger that had been slightly pushed down but no signature char/crispness you get. It was a decent normal burger and fries that I would consider getting again but also is not worth the $13 it costs.

When we were driving to the location I thought I must have the wrong address because it's an industrial park and it was jam packed but we found parking. I ordered a double cheese smash burger with fries on their tablet screen. Once I received the order from one of the lockers I had to request more ketchup because I only received two small packets. The burger was delicious and the fries were great but were way too salty.

Burger was nasty, not a smash patty at all. Fries were cold and soggy. This burger and fries was like 13 bucks... go to in n out instead.If you want a good smash patty, go to hammer burger or 4th street market in Santa Ana.

Thought I'd ignore the negative reviews and give this place a try but man was I thoroughly disappointed. For it being a ghost kitchen, the price point is way too high especially for the quality of food put out. Burger was just okay, nothing to rave about at all. I would have been way more satisfied eating at McDonalds or any other fast food spot and that's saying a lot. The fries were even a bigger let down. Don't waste ur time here, I already did and now u know.

This place actually had decent burgers and was part of another ghost kitchen that had pretty much everything. However, I did get scammed out of my money as the store stopped taking orders before we could get there to pick ours up. From what I experienced the restaurant isn't even open anymore.
