Not "weird good"--just legitimately delicious. You'll love them. I promise!THE COLDIt's freaking cold. All seating is outdoors, and while the heaters look nice, they don't actually work. Skal has two four-person tables out front with overhead heaters--get one of these or be prepared to bundle up. They do offer blankets, but even with them, you'll feel the chill. Dress warm!THE SERVICESuper friendly, but by the end, it felt like they forgot about us--our waters sat empty for 15 minutes.FINAL THOUGHTSDefinitely worth a visit, but go during the day if you can. If you're going at night in winter, reserve one of the two heated tables out front. You'll thank me later.

Solid spot on the Marina that overlooks the water. Indoor and outdoor seating. I loved the avocado pizza, the hot honey drizzle was amazing. We also got the butternut squash pasta, and I must preface that this pasta is made with actual squash noodles. Healthy option but not incredibly yummy.Our server was incredibly kind and even told us about the pasta being squash noodles before we decided because he didn't want us disappointment. Beware the restaurant validates parking but it still doesn't cover the cost ( we ended up having to pay 7 dollars still)

Adding a long overdue review for Skal because we have been coming here almost once per week for a while now because of how much we love this place. It's tucked away in Lido Marina and it's just perfect for a weekend lunch. Our go-to almost every visit is the Sunflower Ratatouille salad and avocado pizza--and my other half loves the saffron miso pasta. Everything is so incredibly fresh, service is efficient and quick, and the wood fire pizza oven smells oh so amazing. Not pictured here, but equally as incredible, is the roasted zucchini... They also have a hot dog during Oktoberfest pictured here made with their pizza dough and some incredibly delicious ingredients. My boyfriend absolutely lovvveeeed this thing and was so sad when they removed it from the menu at the end of the month.

Skal Pizza is an absolute gem, which we discovered by accident. Great find!Everything crust & lox pizza was beyond and will definitely be ordering it again! YES!!!Cruciferous pizza was also very flavorfulFor desserts, I was eyeing strawberry marshmallow, but they were out so instead we got wood fired pears, which were goodThe atmosphere is really lovely with a cool view of yachts parked in the frontSitting is available on the inside and outside on the deckParking is tough, but there is a parking garage and they validate for one hourThe service was outstanding! Peyton was beyond accommodating, friendly, and professional Rating it 5 stars despite the miss on the marshmallows Cannot wait to be back!!

They cook with finesse and specialize in wood fired/grilled dishes. While we were not fans of the pizza, it's a preference thing related to dough. On the other hand, the best dish of the day was the zucchini and the salad was a close second. They mostly have outdoor seating, very limited indoor group seating and bar/table top seats. Parking in lido /paid and shared restrooms with the lido marina lot.

I was a little skeptical at first but this place was soooo good and such cute views! The Cesar kale salad was amazing & so was the avocado pizza!! Honestly was so surprised by it because I wasn't sure I'd like it but I love it!! The service was great and our server was so nice and sweet. People that were walking by even asked us what pizza we were having! Highly would recommend!

Great find! Sat outside and they have heaters available. We sat closest to the building so were warmed by the heater built in above us.The pizza choices are fun and different. Fresh and light ingredients. Really enjoyed the ambiance, service and the food. The pizza with pineapple was delicious! I do not recall the name. The artichoke pizza was on the richer side, but also very good. The classic tomatoe was light and fresh.

Some friends and I came in to eat this evening around 6pm. There were around 6 open tables. We asked what the wait would be. We were rudely told 1 hour. We thought this was pretty strange considering how many open tables there were. Curious, I walked around the corner to call and ask what the wait would be for a walk-in for three. The same hostess answered the phone and told us no wait. I decided to call them out on it before we left, and the girl tried to tell me that they just had 1 reservation cancel and that's why the wait changed within the 2 minute time frame. A pizza place. 1 cancellation frees up 1 hour of wait time? Right. Absolutely wild. I feel like an ugly old lady getting denied to a cool night club. Smfh. Do better y'all.

I've been here twice now. The 2nd time I brought my family & they were not disappointed. Ive tried:Saffron miso pasta 7/10Bbq Corn pizza 10/10Kids cheese pizza 10/10Kale Cesar 8/10Baby beet Greek 9/10Artichoke 10/10They also have great drinks! I think they switch the menu up depending on the season. I definitely would come back for the pizza alone & I love how it's on the dock & close to the beach! An ideal location for a delicious pizza spot!

Looove this place. Relatively affordable spot right by the water in Lido Marina Village if you split a pizza with a friend. Gorgeous view of Balboa bay, and at night they have heat lamps to keep you warm. Artichoke pizza was delish. Food came quick as well, great service!
