Simmzy's - Huntington Beach

We only takeout or deliver from Simmzy's, but we've been ordering from here for years. The food is great. We usually get the gem cesar salad with salmon, the white shrimp salad, and then share an appetizer or burger. Good portions on everything as well.The reason I'm finally posting is because of an issue. We ordered three items from GrubHub but only received two. The bill was correct, and the missing salad sides were in the bag. We contacted GrubHub, and they said they delivered what was in the bag, but they did refund the missing item. They advised us to contact the restaurant.I called Shimmzy's and they were so helpful and apologetic. They don't have a direct delivery service, but they offered to provide the missing item for free pickup in 10 minutes. When I arrived the manager (William Burpee) came right out and again apologized, explained the situation (I'll spare the details, but it does sound like a GrubHub mistake), and handed me the item. He then gave me a gift card which was completely unnecessary.I hope the restaurant owner, general manager, etc read this and know that William is amazing. In a time where customer service is not always a priority, William went so far above and beyond that we will be more frequent customer than before. Thank you, William!

I got the veggie burger with vegan pimento on a sesame bunI think the burger was ok. I wish that offered some other type of sauce they was vegan so it wasn't so dryThe vegan pimento was okI really liked the fries though The service was great

Wife wanted brunch and when my wife wants brunch, you know I'm taking full advantage of this rare opportunity! I will never say no to daydrinking and boozy brunches.Personally I feel like the menu is a bit limited. The tacos didn't really interest me which limited my selection even further. I ended up getting a Bacon Blue Deluxe burger and my wife ordered their Chilaquiles. And what is a brunch without a little bev to go with it? I ordered their Cactus Cooler and my wife ordered their Bloody Simmzy.Bacon Blue Deluxe Burger: Excellent burger! Very rich in all ways possible with the blue cheese and bacon. Only complaint was the charred edges. I love me some char, but some bits were straight up burnt which made a few bites a little acrid.Chilaquiles: Not really a big chips kinda guy, but this was actually really good. Not something I would personally order myself, but the chilaquiles were loaded. The egg was good too! Nice crispy edges and a nice orange yolk to go along with it.Blue Cheese Haystack Fries: Honestly our meal was a bit overkill with the fries since mine came with sweet potato fries, but since it was my first time here, why not? It was definitely a welcome addition once I took my first bite. Again, very rich and saucy like the burger. They're also shoestring fries which are my favorite! Cactus Cooler: A tasty cocktail, but only tasting a little bit like a Cactus Cooler. Refreshing though!Bloody Simmzy: I love bloody marys and Simmzy's is probably one of the best I've had in a very long time. The salsa verde is hands down the best part of it. It gives it such a good layer of flavor and makes every sip delicious.Service was great! Our meal here was excellent. Great food, friendly service, tasty bevs, and a great view of the beach. Definitely cannot wait to come back! They also validate parking, so don't forget! The parking at Pacific City is insane.

As always I love the 15 Minute Wings and the Blue Cheese Haystack Fries. Both so good. I get an extra side of the wonderful orange wing sauce for the fries. Awesome rotating craft beer selection. They still have my favorite Paulaner Hefeweizen beer on tap!

The brunch here was amazing. It was a little expensive but very worth it. Wait was not bad at all for the weekend. I would try the beers another time! The restaurant has fun surfer/beach decor and also dog friendly.

We stopped in after my daughter went shopping. Great location. Inside and outside seating. Even though it was chilly out we chose to sit on the patio which did have heaters. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with the service. We started with nachos without meat and they had so many flavors. They were delicious and we recommend them. I chose a miso salmon salad and it was perfect. The dressing was just right, the salmon was cooked perfectly. My daughter had a chimichanga and she said it tasted good too! I had a tropical type drink as well. I can't recall the name but it was sort of like a pine colada. It was pretty and tasted great. Overall, we would definitely come here again!

Really enjoyed Simmzy's. Love how it's right across the street from the beach and you can enjoy the sunset (which we did) while having dinner.Great selection of food and drinks!I wish I took better and more pictures but was distracted by my date.

I love Simmzys! Food is amazing. I love their Korean Chicken Sandwich and poke nacho bites. They have an interesting drink menu. A good thing because there's creative cocktails! The La Rosa margarita is a must try! Their beer is great too. They have a special (a beer and an added shot for $5). I love the vibe because you walk in and seat yourself. They have an inside and an outside (view of the ocean). 3 bathrooms! The service is always great and fast. I would recommend coming here for a fun night out with friends!

We are walked in it was a tiny bit busy but I really like that the view is so close to the ocean. Roselia, baby girl and I decided to sit outside. The breeze and sunshine was out so it was perfect day to be outside. I have never been here before so I wasn't sure what to order. But I saw the Billionaire burger with fries and it sounded amazing and it was. The bacon was a bit sweet and perfectly crunchy, the bun was fluffy and soft, the waygu patty was made juicy and well done for me. It was so delicious, baby girl ordered the kids burger with fries and Roselia had the carne asada fries. Our server was really sweet I wish I remembered her name. But she took our order quickly she had a smile and brought our food out fast! We got outside beach view what more could you want? I absolutely want to come back here again!
