Chimichangas!! Most people rope drop for the rides, and I rope drop for the chimichangas. ;)The Breakfast Chimichanga at Ship to Shore is a quick and delicious treat to start the morning at Disneyland (until sold out, usually before 10 a.m.). I love the crispy ends when I get a fresh batch. However, the whole chimichanga isn't crispy because it is made and wrapped in foil ahead of time. The green sauce for an extra cost is worth it! It also pairs well with the breakfast burrito at Galactic Grill or the breakfast Ronto wrap in Galaxy's Edge! The standard Chimichangas are also a great all-day snack. I sometimes get the corn on the cob, pineapple spears, or pickles when I need something different to snack on. Ship to Shore Marketplace offers drinks, snacks, fruit, and pickles. It is next to the Mark Twain boat landing and across from the Big Thunder Mountain ride. This stall does not offer Magic Key/Pass discounts or mobile ordering. The cast members quickly provide help and get you on your way.

*** Vegetarian Review ****** Breakfast ***Run, don't walk. These vegetarian chimichangas don't last. Located in the cart across from Big Thunder, you'll find this fried goodness. Tip 1. They run out usually in 45-60 minutes. Usually that is. I came here once and they were sold out in 30. 2. If there's a line, just politely ask the cast members if they have any left so you don't waste your time standing in a line only to be disappointed, heartbroken, and distraught for the rest of the day. 3. No pass-holder discount They are fried perfectly. And the ends of the burritos, where everything is all tucked together. Yes please! Fried and chewy. The insides are hot - this is a breakfast burrito so everything you'd expect is in there. It's not vegan so if you're vegan stay away - there's egg in this baby. Bottom line - this is one of the better vegetarian breakfast spots, but it runs out fast. So if you get rejected, head to Ronto Roasters and order the Rontoless Wrap. Plant-based sausage, spicy kimchi slaw, sweet pickled cucumber, plant-based gochujang spread, wrapped in pita ($13.99 at the time of this review).

Ship to Shore Marketplace is delicious. I've had the Breakfast Chimichanga and Chimichanga. The breakfast chimichanga is served until 11 AM or until sold out. I've heard that it does sell out so I would try to get here early. It was my first time trying this. It's delicious, but not mind blowing. I would still definitely get it again. I will say, the one I got wasn't crispy like a chimichanga normally is. Maybe it was sitting in the wrap for too long, not sure but my tortilla was a little soggy, still enjoyed it though. One reviewer said to get the salsa, I don't think I was given salsa. I will ask for it next time! For the chimichanga, I remember really liking it when I was younger, however, I tried it again recently and it wasn't as good as I remember. Maybe I got an old batch because I got this at night around 9 PM. I'll have to give it another try. Both chimichangas are quite big, I like to share with another person. It's inside Disneyland at Frontierland. Service is quick and friendly. There is no seating so I would go somewhere else if you want to sit and eat or just stand and eat. There is seating nearby outside by Mark Twain Boat or inside The Golden Horseshoe. There is no mobile order option so you have to get in line to order. There's usually a line, but it does move fast, maybe less than a ten minute wait. I think the price is fair here accounting for inflation. Also keep in mind food inside the park is going to cost more, as expected. The amount of food you get is worth the price.

The Breakfast Chimichanga was not on my radar at all, but when I discovered that it was full of eggs, sausage, potatoes, and cheese, I knew I had to try it.We ordered one to share and also grabbed some of the salsa verde and complimentary salsa sauce packets. We were seated right by the water and the Sailing Ship Columbia just happened to pass by as we were eating. It was awesome. As for the chimichanga, it's very good. By itself, it's maybe just a little on the bland side, although the components within are all excellent. However, once you add that salsa verde and regular salsa, it really becomes something special. I was actually wishing I'd ordered one just for myself, but there was so much other food to eat that day.

This was a great quick breakfast option. The line was not too long. The food was hot. The chimichanga was very crispy and the flavors were delicious.

One thing to remember. Disneyland is expensive and so is their food. I came during closing so there wasn't a wide selection of fruits left. It's a lifesaver if you really need fruit since it opens a lot later than a lot of the places around.

So many Disney foodies have raved about the Breakfast Chimichanga near the cart at Big Thunder Mountain that I arrived at rope drop to head over to try. With all the hype, I went in with high hopes to add something to my rotation when rope dropping on Disneyland start days. Sadly, these are a bit of a grease bomb and left my stomach in knots which is never good when planning to ride Big Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones, and other thrill rides near by. If you can tolerate greasy foods, then this would be a great breakfast option but was a one and one for me.

STILL DREAMING ABOUT THE BREAKFAST CHIMICHANGAAAABreakfast at Disney is a bit limited. But if there's one thing that makes me want to get up and be there at rope drop, it's the breakfast chimichanga. It is pure deep fried bliss! It is a bit oily but when paired with the salsa (DO NOT SKIP THE SALSA), it is a perfect breakfast. On its own, it might feel a bit heavy. But the brightness and acidity of the salsa really helps cut the heaviness! ALSO THE SALSA IS JUST SO GOOD! It has a good amount of heat and is just the perfect addition to the burrito. The portion of salsa they give you is rather huge, so I'd say the perfect ratio might be 2 breakfast chimichangas : roughly 1 cup of salsa. LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, this burrito is so freaking affordable! One of the most reasonably priced food items in the park. I think it was a little under $7 when I went (but the salsa is an additional $1). Overall, this is truly the best breakfast item available at Disney. PSA: they stop serving the breakfast chimichangas at 11 OR UNTIL THEY RUN OUT. But do yourself a favor and get one of these breakfast chimichangas with a side of salsa! An excellent start to a day of Disney foods!

We rope-dropped Disneyland today. After watching some of our favorite bloggers on YouTube we felt we had try the Breakfast Chimichanga and got the extra Green Sauce. Both tasted so amazing and we really enjoyed it. It was $6.49 for the chimichanga and $1.39 for the sauce. We ordered ours at 8:47 this morning so we were able to get a breakfast chimichanga. It was super delicious and wish we could have another one. if you want to get one of these limited supplies bundle of goodness, the key is to order it as early as possible to ensure you won't be let down.

My kiddo loves a Disney chimichanga and this is the place to fulfill that desire. There's also some fruit, lemon ice, even pickles here. Of course bring your $$$$ because it's all going to cost you.
