This place is a sleeper! You don't realize that it's a really good place because it's just a store at a train stop but wow it's good. The food is good and is enough for a good meal. The lady serving you is nice and polite and the environment is pretty cool with all the trains passing by.

Absolutely the BEST cappuccino I've ever had is served here! The place has a nice small town design and feel to it. Only caveat is they close at 8PM but they begin mopping up around 6:30, and if you try to walk in after they had mopped, the employees will not be very happy about it. I think they should just close at 6:30 when they begin mopping, this way you don't feel like you're walking on egg shells every time you try to get a cappuccino after 6:30PM.

I love a train station cafe, and this one is exceptional. The food selection is awesome with charbroiled burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and more. And with beer on draft, what else do you want? The outside dining patio is right next to the train tracks that allows you to watch the trains go by. It's entertaining to see someone have to run across the bridge when their train is on the other side. Usually they make it, but every once in a while to see a train depart with a guy hanging his head low on the platform. Pure gold.

Good food. I got a bacon breakfast burrito and added jalapeños and it was delicious. Their menu prices on here are WAY off but it still wasn't too high. Interesting environment because it's at a train station but I'd definitely go back when I'm craving a good breakfast burrito.

No matter how long you live in a specific area, there will always be something new to discover. In Downtown Fullerton, Sante Fe Express Cafe is one location I would never have known if I hadn't ridden the Orange County Metro or if someone I knew recommended it. My nephew loves trains and wanted to celebrate his fourth birthday with family and friends, eating and watching the trains. There is some indoor seating, while the outdoor patio has about ten tables. It was the perfect spot to set up the birthday decorations on one side and enough seating for the party guest and the other side for patrons. The patio is near the tracks, so you get a nice view of the cargo trains and Metro passing by. The service was friendly and excellent as our server came around and took our orders (due to our big party). The food came out hot and fresh-made. I saw various people ordering breakfast items, burgers, and Queenie Weenies at our party. I ordered the Ortega Burger and substituted the chips for onion rings and a regular drink. The Ortega burger was delicious. The patty was seasoned just right, and the Ortega chili added a nice burst of juicy flavor. The one order of onion rings is shareable and was perfectly crispy with a side of ranch. My family got a breakfast burrito and patty melt. They thought their food was good and happy with their orders. The establishment itself is a nice little find and perfect for travelers and locals alike. The cafe provides a great selection of food, drinks, and all your travel and personal needs. Prices are also reasonable. I will have to come back and try more food and enjoy the scene trains and people passing by. Parking is free for 3hrs in one lot while other lots are paid parking at certain times. There were a few homeless around, but they didn't bother the patrons and other people walking around.

Check this place out. They have a pretty delicious grilled bacon burger on sourdough bread. Pretty big portion for the price. The combo comes with choice of chips between Fritos or lays. Service was polite and welcoming.

A hidden jewel for good charbroiled burgers. Tucked inside Fullerton train station you'll find a small cafe to enjoy some good quality eats at affordable pricing. Their burger makes me think of what Carls Jr. would taste like if they had fresh non frozen ingredients. You can for sure taste the charbroil patty which is straight off their grill, topped with charred Ortega chili. Their menu is fairly large where you'll find other food like hot dogs, burritos & more.

We were in the area and decided to try this spot next to the station. We had large parties and the service was amazing. I got the Santa Fe burger and fries, it's season right. A side of fries is enough for 3 or 4 people. I could go for more burger, it's good!Kids definitely love the train passing by. Heads up, the tracks are close by and keep an eye as they may fall to the tracks.Go up the stairs and watch the train drom above. Amazing!

Little short, Hispanic woman always has an attitude and told me this morning that I had to purchase something in order to use the restroom. Even though every other employee, especially the young man allows me to use a restroom, always has a nasty attitude, overpriced items, and never has a smile on her face. don't get how you can treat people that way. she saved me from buying her expensive beer. saved myself four dollars. As long as she's worked here, probably super long time she should be more kinder
