Sandwich Hut

Was craving a chicken salad sandwich for lunch on a Monday and this showed up in my search. Sandwich Hut is in a business park off Orangethorpe ave. and I forget it's there. This was my first time trying it and it was worth it. I was able to get a sandwich, chips and a drink for around $14. I got the chicken salad sandwich on squaw bread with everything on it. They didn't skimp on the chicken salad at all and the sandwich was very filling. It's a husband and wife team working there but despite the lack of employees and the long line, I was able to get my sandwich in a few minutes. Definitely recommend if you're craving a above average sandwich.

Was craving a sandwich and decided on my way to the shop next to them instead to try this spot. They had pretty good reviews and the menu looked good. They had a "Daily foot long" deal that was Ham and Cheese on this particular day. I decided for Turkey and Roast Beef instead. (Maybe called the "Denver"?) I got it on a roll, and waited. The wait seemed a bit long especially since it wasn't during lunch hour but a little after. Eventually a lady handed me my sub and I walked out.Once I got to my car I thought there might be a mistake. Did I order half a sub? The price/receipt said no. So I pulled up the menu and saw that a roll isn't 'a foot long' but only 7 inches. So would half a sub only be about 3.5"?! The sub itself was pretty good. Just confused by the size (or lack of) and the filings themselves seemed pretty light as well. May try it once more on plain bread, not a roll. Perhaps I just got unlucky.

Very good sandwich! I got the Boston.. pastrami and turkey on sourdough. It was delicious!

Love this place. Every day they have a $10 lunch special, which is a huge foot long sandwhich (rotates every day: turkey one day, ham the next day, then meatball, etc). It's a massive sandwhich, fresh made, filled with meat. Also comes with a little Cole slaw and a pickle and pepper on the side. Unreal deal and way better and cheaper than subway, Jimmy John's, etc. It's also a little mom and pop shop, so it's great to show support. 5 out of 5, highly recommend

The sandwiches were great. Owners were sweet, and patient and efficient. I highly recommend this sandwich shop because I love sandwiches. I might be obsessed! this place is awesome. Support small business'

Stopped by today to grab a sandwich because I saw the great reviews on Yelp. As I was ordering, the two women working were not very friendly. They were treating like I was a nuisance and they were annoyed with me. The sandwich itself is not too bad, but not the best. It lacks a lot of flavor. I got the Copenhagen sandwich. I do like how it comes with a bag of pickles and banana peppers. Overall, the sandwich's are ok. But, it honestly just ruins a place for me when the workers aren't friendly. It's not that hard to be nice!

I liked the shop as a whole. Will go back and try other sandwiches. I got the Corleone, thought it was a bit light on the meat. Maybe I should have passed on the French roll, it made for too much bread - but more meat would have been the cure since the roll was nice and fresh. Fair prices. Will go back.

The portion of this protein is a joke. Also the bacon is poor quality so therefore it shrunk to almost nothing

Love this place, friendly service with a smile. Small mom and pop shop. They let their sandwiches do the talking!
