been here twice already and it's probably one of my favorite places to get a korean fried chicken sandwhich! the first time i came, they only had 4-6 items on the menu and ive noticed they added 3 more items - can't wait to come back and try them! everything else i tried was also AMAZING!located inside of the MAKE building across anaheim packing house, it's in the back and a very small location run by 2 people! we self order then it gets brought out to us! love the option they give you to have the sandwich to be cut in half :)one of the staff members walked out and even gave us some crispy sweet potato fries to try out and will probably be on the menu soon? highly recommend checking out saemo!* k chicken sando * seasoned fries* kimchi style fries

Edit:they have the audacity to mark my order as ready 1.5 hour later so they get paid. Wow that is some shadiness. I drove 15 minutes during my work lunch hour to pick up my order which i placed on uber eats only to find out when I got there that they were closed. I called them 4 times and it is probably the owner's cell phone or something because they close to hang up on me the fifth time.It said they were open on Yelp, on Google, all the food ordering platforms as well. I had to call Uber Eats to cancel and they said I would need to wait three more hours to cancel. It's ridiculous. Now i've wasted basically my entire lunch break and have had nothing to eat.

I hate to say this but because I had such high expectations of Saemo, I was quite disappointed. My experience here is 2.5 at max.I wanted to try everything on the menu but some of them were sold out so I ordered what I could: The K-Chicken Sandwich, K-Chicken Nuggets, and Kimchi Style Fries. K-Chicken Sandwich: The chicken was cooked tender and the bread was super buttery as well. My biggest complaint here was that the kimchi in the sandwich was super overcooked, almost black in color and super mushy with no crunch. I hope I am wrong but it seemed like they used reheated foods since we were almost the first people to be there after opening hour. I paid $15 dollars for this and was so disappointed that they would serve me something reheated.K-Chicken Nuggets: Because the nuggets are quite small some of the chicken was fried too much making them hard to chew and a little bit salty. However, the bigger pieces were pretty good and was seasoned pretty well. I don't know if it went super well with the sauces because the chicken was already dry seasoned.Kimchi Style Fries: The biggest portion out of everything and it was the most freshly made. You could tell that this didn't use reused kimchi because the kimchi was crunchy compared to the sandwich. Another reason for the 2.5 stars is that it took FOREVER for my food to come out. To my belief Saemo is branded to be simple. My expectations for simple food would be that it would take less than 15 minutes, but it took a whole 45 minutes for these 3 items to come out, and it the result was not satisfactory. This may be because it is a fairly new store and the people in the kitchen may not be well trained, as I know that the chef that created this place is very good at what he does. I hope that they take this criticism to make better changes to this otherwise fantastic concept.

I wouldn't have known about this place if it wasn't for Yelp! The location was a bit hidden but it was quiet so that was lovely. The sandwich was delicious, it had a lot of flavor. The chicken nuggets were good, but their dipping sauces made the difference. We also ordered the fries - that was a underwhelming - the spices were a bit neutral for us. Overall I would def come back here for the sandwich.

Very cute aesthetic, small area to order food with larger seating area outside with a modern chic vibe. Parking can be a little challenging, we parked along the street which was free. Service was good they gave us good recommendations for the sauces. We ordered the chicken sandwich which was delicious and well seasoned. We also really enjoyed the chicken nuggets. The gochujang sauce was really good as well as the yuzu-like sauce (forgot what it's called exactly) they gave it a zesty flavor. The kimchi fries were a bit over seasoned and good for the first few bites but the sauce was a bit too heavy. They only have a few items on the menu but great for a quick bite!

**4.5/5** Hidden inside the Make building, this spot is a gem worth checking out! The common dining area is shared with other restaurants in the building, and it's both cute and spacious--a great vibe for a casual meal.We visited around noon on a Sunday, and to our surprise, there was no line. We ordered the chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, corn cheese, and shrimp toast. About 20 minutes later, they let us know they were out of shrimp toast. They offered a refund and gave us fries instead, which we appreciated. By then, we had already received the chicken sandwich and nuggets, but the corn cheese wasn't ready yet. Here's the breakdown:Chicken Nuggets: Fried nicely with good seasoning, but I wish they had been hotter in temperature and spicier. We paired them with the kimchi spread sauce, which was creamy and flavorful--definitely a highlight.Chicken Sandwich: Absolutely delicious! The kimchi paired perfectly with the juicy chicken. Definitely the star of the meal.Corn Cheese: Just okay. At $10, it feels overpriced for what it is. If it were $5, it'd be a regular order for us. The packaging wasn't ideal--served in a paper box with a paper liner, which didn't help keep it warm. It gets cold quickly, so eat it right away if you order it. We did enjoy adding it to the nuggets and chicken sandwich for a fun twist.Fries: Perfectly crispy and seasoned--these were fantastic! While we missed out on the shrimp toast this time, we'll definitely be back to give it a try. We'd probably order all the same items again, but we'd skip the corn cheese unless the price comes down. Overall, a solid spot with some standout dishes!

Service was friendly and food was great! I don't think the photo does it justice since it's hard to make grilled kimchi look photogenic, but they are doing grilled kimchi right! The chicken was moist and had a nice crisp texture. The fries were really well seasoned and the kimchi sauce was flavorful and had a good kick to them. Both items were STUFFED with their delicious kimchi. The bad: location is across from the packing district so it's a bit harder to get foot traffic. Parking is also a hassle but that should be expected when eating near here.Overall, I would recommend this spot to anyone with a chicken sandwich craving that wants to experience it with a korean kick.

A new favorite!Their chicken sandwich might be one of my current favorite things to eat. The flavor is so delicious and chicken itself is so tender and juicy. The kimchi and cole slaw have a really nice acidity that adds balance to the overall flavor and keeps it from feeling too heavy. There's a really nice level of spice and flavor to it that feels just right and isn't too overwhelming. I also had my sandwich with a side of seasoned fries and they were also so flavorful and had a the perfect amount of crisp. The shrimp toast was just a touch too fried for my personal liking, but the flavor of the filling was also delicious. The store itself is very small but there's lots of open seating right outside, and the workers here are great too! Definitely will be coming back here for their K-Chicken Sando.
