RIBBRO BBQ

Loved this! Brought my parents here and we loved the experience. The restaurant is owned by a Korean family and offers Korean fusion southern bbq. The food was reasonably priced and the night we dined they had a special for 2 meat plate with 2 side dishes. We each ordered the brisket and ribs, but all got different sides. I really enjoyed my kimchi and their coleslaw. I tried the baked beans and the other variety of coke slaw and it was so well seasoned. The meat was perfectly smoked and so tender. The food paired well with the homemade bbq sauces.i personally loved the gochuchang one but each of my parents preferred the other ones offered, but I felt the gochuchang had the best flavor. I'm all honesty they all tasted good but I'm just a bit biased lol. Forgot to mention they keep a tray of pickled onions, pickles and peppers out which is awesome! You can grab what you like and I loved the onions and pickles to cut the fattiness of the meat. My parents loved the onion rings in which were a generous portion.Overall food was great and we would come back. By far the best brisket I have had in a while!The banana pudding was a bit of a let down though and tasted very artificial, but I'm there for their savory stuff not sweets. Restaurant was order first and then seat yourself. Very clean and well kept restaurant. Love the look. Service is also great! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My friend and his wife invited my wife and me to RIBBRO BBQ in Foothill Ranch for lunch, and we had a pleasant time. The restaurant offers Texas-style BBQ, though it's not quite as authentic as what you'd find in Texas--but that's perfectly fine.The ribs were slightly dry but still acceptable, and I hope they can improve on that in the future. On the other hand, the dirty rice was flavorful. The portion sizes are just right for one person, making the meal satisfying without being overwhelming.The service was great! The server even mentioned that we could ask to have the bread toasted, which was a nice touch.Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be coming back!

Chaotic service tonight. Started with order online saying it would be ready in 2 mins. I gave them 20mins and it still was not ready when I go there. Lots of customers standing around confused as there only one lady working the front. She had a large order and still forgot an item she had to run out to a customers car as they were driving away. Ambiance was nice but it was the previous decor from the previous restaurant I was told by a friend. Brisket seemed like pot roast. I would not order again. I would like to try the ribs if I had to go back. Potato salad was good, cornbread was ok, and banana pudding was great.They forgot my Texas Toast that was supposed to come with my meal. And I was not given any sort of bbq sauce? With places like Wood Ranch around, I will not be returning.

I joined my friend who works near by Lake Forrest for dinner and we decided to have BBQ. The establishment is nice and clean. The service was helpful when I asked for beef ribs (call & request a day in advance) they have pork ribs. We ordered chicken wings and a Friday specials which was ribs, sausage & brisket with 2 sides. We ordered drinks (not a big variety on beers) 3 on tap and about 4 selections on bottle. We received our food quick which was great. The special was okay. Nothing special. I had to get pieces of marrow or bone from the sausage out and the ribs were a bit cold. The brisket was good. The best part was definitely the chicken wings! If you feel like some good chicken wings try this spot!

First visit here by daughter lead us to try.The questions was nice explained by the owner & menu was explained right at time you order & purchased.Where you could get some perfect ribs & brisket combo.The meat is well marinated, grilled, fragrant, soft and not dry as the kind of Asian.We enjoyed our dinner with friendly service.

Delicious little bbq spot hidden in Foothill Ranch. Has no idea this place existed but man am I impressed! Flavorful and tender brisket with some pretty delicious bbq sauces and BBQ mustard!The sauce bar over the drink station was perfect with pickles and pickled onions! The service was quick and pleasant! Just wish the food was a smidge hotter! The restaurant had a neat homey feel to it with the vibes to fit a rad BBQ spot! Would def recommend! Portions are a little bit on the bigger side! I ordered the two meat combo while two others in my party ordered the Cowboy Dinner!

I ordered the brisket and ribs. The brisket was really dry and didn't have much flavor. The ribs had a lot of cartilage. It was hard picking the meat off the bone. I'm giving three stars because the Mac and cheese was good and so was the service. They do have TV'S playing sporting events. The dining room is large, and you can sit outside. I think they serve beer, too. Most people might like the BBQ but since I judge BBQ I'm very picky.

Best BBQ! Great service and daily specials. Looking forward to trying all the items on their menu. House BBQ sauce yummy.

All their BBQ meats at Ribbro are authentic and delicious. I love the brisket, sausages and pulled pork. Ribs were also excellent. They do offer some Korean interpretation items as well. Staff were very personable and super nice. Ambiance is like you're in Texas including the decor and country music. Highly recommended!

Good BBQ joint with really family friendly pricing. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We tried the brisket sandwich, pork sandwich and wings. The fries were wide and thin cut... making them crispy and tasty. The slaw was also good. Really enjoyed everything we tried.
