So, this whole experience is almost like a tribute to the older American Italian restaurants from the 1980s. There was a singular gentleman who sat us, took our order, and served us as well. Very friendly gentleman (the owner?), who made sure we were well taken care of.The spaghetti was not necessarily groundbreaking, but quite delicious, and the portion was perfect. My mom ordered the lasagna, and while I enjoyed the spaghetti, I was envious.....as good as their spaghetti was, lasagne is the way to go. The prices were more than reasonable for the amount and quality of the food.Enjoy....and talk to the nice gentleman

Been here a few times for lunch and have tried a few of their sandwiches out. They are filling and pretty good. They either come with a house salad, soup, onion rings or french fries. Sandwiches are between $10-15. Their meatball and chicken parm ones are delish!! On my latest visit i got their italian sandwich - the bread was so soft and they were not skimpy with the toppings. Service can be a little slow during the lunch hour - i think its only one guy working then? But the food is worth the wait!

Hidden Gem. This place has been here for 30 years and we are finally here for the first time. It's casual and unpretentious, but also elevated. Food was really good and very reasonably priced. Service was great. Our server Ben was so nice. Homemade Tiramisu was delicious. We will be back for sure!

Great find. Searched yelp while at Disneyland. To find a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. With family. So 8 of us. Went to renatas. We called first for such a large party they were happy to accommodate us. The food was amazing! Everyone had a wonderful meal. Great drinks as well. It was a great experience. When back in California. We will be back. It's not that far from Disney. And worth the drive. Also the prices were magnificent.

I love this place. I've been coming for years, but just not as much as I'd like I don't know why to be honest.Last night was my anniversary and I wanted to bring some flowers and surprise my fiancé so I called up and the owner was so gracious. I wasn't sure if he was gonna do it because he didn't know me very well but he didn't hesitate. It made the evening along with the fantastic food great service. It's just an amazing place , highly recommended.The Caprese and calamari are divine. The sea bass melts in your mouth The pastas are flavorful, fresh coffee, and the tiramisu ended a perfect night.

Excellent local spot with very diverse menu. Unusual in that salad was included with entrees. Very good sauces. They ask if you want garlic bread or _______ and don't tell you if you select garlic bread it is $5 more. Same with house salad or Caesar. If you select Caesar it too is extra and they don't tell you that either.

My friends and I came on Renata's kind of accidentally, while wandering the Traffic Circle. We'd sort of been looking for a gastropub and were enticed by the scents of Renata's The pasta was superb. I had the lobster and spinach ravioli and my lovely friend had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The atmosphere was old school and comforting, and not at all what we expected to have. A real pleasure.

This is by far my favorite spot in the Orange Circle! The customer service is unmatched, and every visit is personal and memorable! Ben is wonderful and makes every guest feel so special each time! It's always a wonderful experience dining here, and I find myself coming here any time I want to go out! I can't recommend it enough. My favorite is the pink sauce ravioli, it is delicious!

Food is always above average. However, as courteous is, the service was, there just was not enough of it. Luckily, we had nothing to do and were exceedingly patient as the one lone waiter -- who doubled as a bus boy and cashier -- did his level best to take care of a room full of people. Not fair to him. Not fair to us who are asked to make honest reviews. Do better, Renata's. Get more help.
