Walked up here to meet a friend for Thai food. This is her favorite Thai restaurant and I had no idea it was so yummy or I would've been here a long time ago. The restaurant is located on the corner of Gilbert and Chapman in a very worn out looking strip mall. The interior is clean and tasteful. They have clearly and successfully invested in making the place higher scale than the surroundings. We started with the chicken wontons which were steamed. The ingredients were so fresh, the dipping sauce is delicious with sesame seeds in it. So juicy. My friend had pad Thai while I had the eggplant with medium level of heat. My friend and the waitress encouraged me to go with a mild level. I went with median and did regret it. But the heat did not detract from my enjoyment of the meal served with Jasmine rice. The price for the two of us including beverages was under $40. This level of freshness and deliciousness cannot be discounted. And proximity to my home makes this even better for this girl. I will be returning.

Do not be fooled by all the positive reviews. It seems like there was a change in chef or management or something because our experience was anything but five stars. My girlfriend was craving Thai food, and this was the closest place to where we were hanging out.The environment: 2/5 Not particularly welcoming. Not dirty either. My feet were cold.Service: 2/5 Server was a little too awkward, but he was not impolite by any means. When he brought out my dish he spilled it, but never bothered to clean it up. **Update 3/5. I left my credit card and he came out to give it back to me**Food: 1/5 I ordered the Yellow Curry with a Thai Ice Tea and my girlfriend the Pad See Ew. The water: Tasted disgusting. Reminded of the smell of muddy water. The water from my garden hose tastes better and cleaner. After a sip or two, we just stopped drinking water despite being parched.Thai Ice Tea: The picture in the menu and on Yelp showed it in a tall glass. As you can see in the picture, I got scammed. It also had little to no cream, which I like, but this may upset some people. Otherwise, it was fine.Yellow Curry: Overly salted, and yet wasn't particularly flavorful. Watery. The potatoes and carrots were not cooked through. The pork was soft enough. It also did not come with the soup spoon, as shown in the pictures, which made it a pain to eat.Pad See Ew: Was not horrible. The dish came out super oily. The noodles would drip oil when picked up. Eggs were over cooked. This may be the first time in my life I ever left food on the table at a restaurant. Based on the pictures from the other reviews, it really seams like the experience used to be different.

Definitely considered hole in the wall I think at the corner of Chapman/Gilbert with a small lot but plentiful parking. Came on a weekday for lunch. They have lunch specials! $9.99 for certain items such as traditional noodles (pad Thai, pad see ew) and several others like curry. Regular lunch entrees comes with a small salad and an "egg roll." Also Free Thai tea for each guest that dines in. Server was nice and food came out quickly. Not fancy inside just few tables and booths.

Their khao soi is soooo good and everything here is quite cheap. The staff was extremely friendly. It's located in a small shopping plaza. It's small and seats maybe 8ish groups. If you're craving khao soi that is tasty, affordable and cheap I would definitely check this place out!!

The food is just extraordinary. Thai tomyum noodle, sweet and sour pork/ beef, and pad thai is just out of the world. It's healthy for your wallet, good for your stomach. The hot 1 option adds spicy on top of what is already amazing. I just can't recommend enough! 100% Should try!!I forgot, free evaporated milk Thai Tea :). Can't believe this place exists.

I'm going to share a little known secret. This place is somewhere I have been coming to for about 2 years and it has consistently delivered on flavors and portions.Service is good, when we walked in we were greeted and then told to find a seat for ourselves. The welcome was not super warm and inviting but we did get a greeting. It felt more like the server was nervous and the Guest service did shine through that a little. He was very pleasant, but I think this could be misconstrued as being rude or short. We also were offered complimentary Thai Tea which was delicious :)The place is very small so dining in can be hard but it has not been too busy when I have come in. It does look like they get a lot of delivery orders. The still water they serve also has a very unfiltered taste almost like drinking straight tap water.FOOD:Red Curry with Pork:The curry sauce is delicious, creamy with a hint of sweetness and slight spice.I think something that could elevate the dish is cooking the bell peppers separately and then adding into the curry because the bell peppers don't add much except for texture.Overall an 8/10.Pad Thai Lunch Combo:The Pad Thai had a good flavor with the sourness I am expecting and the savoriness as well. It did seem very drenched in the sauce but it did not feel heavy.Overall a 7/10.Spicy Wings:This was great! Cooked well with the crunchy exterior and juicy meat underneath. The sauce is delicious, spicy with a slow burn and sweet as well. Some of the plates were also chipped.OVERALL:Overall 8/10.Overall it hurts to give this place 3.5/5 stars today. The quality seems to have dipped since the last time I have been here. This is good if you are looking for some average Thai food.

I've written plenty of reviews for Real Thai Food and they were always five stars. I felt the need to write an update to my review because my last visit left me confused and disappointed. I stopped by last weekend for my usual takeout order: Vegetable Pad See Ew, Papaya Salad, Glass Noodle Salad, Vegetable Pad Thai, and Spicy Eggplant Vegetables. Several of the dishes tasted off and one of them was rancid. The Papaya Salad had tamarind flavor in it, so it was fruity and too sweet. There should be no tamarind flavor in regular Thai papaya salad. The Glass Noodle Salad was rancid. It had a meat-gone-bad sour smell and tasted like it too. It was extremely off-putting. It also didn't have the right ingredients in it - no celery or cilantro and too many green onions. The Vegetable Pad Thai flavor was also off. There was a heavy fish sauce taste. The only two dishes that were normal tasting was the Spicy Eggplant Vegetables and Vegetable Pad See Ew. The rice that came with the Spicy Eggplant Vegetables were mushy and old. Not a single grain could be separated from the mush. I have no idea if they have a new chef or we were served old/bad ingredients, but I am so confused and disappointed. I'm going to give it one more go at a later time... but if this is how it's going to be, I'm going to stop coming here. I will make another updated review some other time to see if this place is redeemable.

Best most flavor Thai food I've had in a long time! I ate here with my husband and kids. They are very kind and accommodating. It's a small joint but a very cozy and calm environment. I like the green curry, pad Thai, and pad se yew. Sometimes it can take them a while to prepare the food. But it's well worth the wait!
