this place is firewe came on saturday night and they have a live singer. she rocked. the brussel sprouts were the shining star, we had to order them twice. vibes were up. food was bomb. i recommend the bbq chicken flatbread. if your into whites, the marissa was delish.parking is tight but there's a parking garage across the street. the area is super nice too so you can walk around and hangout after.slay.

Food - American. Steaks, salads, soup burger, pasta. Ordered Cobb salad, brocolli cheese soup. Both were good with the soup being slightly salty. Also ordered ribeye steak with cowboy butter. Good cut and good temperature of medium rare plus.Service - friendly Lexi, (Alexandria??)Ambiance - twas nice indoor/outdoor dining with a fireplace outdoors.Verdict - good enough for a visit and double take. They do have happy hour (HH) all day Mondays but when it is a holiday, no HH. They also have other timeframes for HH.

We tried their Wine Tasting Experience for the first time and it was delightful. They have a separate room specifically for wine tasting that is big enough to fit a few tables. We had a reservation so there was a table ready for us as soon as we checked in with the host. We decided to try their chocolate and cheese parings which came to a total of $64 per person. Their Wine Tasting consisted of 5 different wines in total, two white and 3 red. Along with the wine we had 5 different types of chocolates and cheeses. Our server took a few moments before each wine pairing to explain the wine history and ingredients. The service was excellent and attentive which really completed the experience. After wine tasting we were offered a table if we wanted to proceed to try their restaurant menu. We had their BBQ chicken flat bread that was very delicious and ended our visit with a sangria.

I decided to go here with my boyfriend because we took the train a few stops down to San Juan for the afternoon. We had some time to waste so we decided to have a glass of wine and an appetizer. Our server was very nice and didn't rush us at all even though we didn't order much. I would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

The service we received was exceptional, with a warm and welcoming waitress who truly knew her way around the wine list, offering thoughtful suggestions that complemented our meal perfectly. The restaurant's ambiance was enchanting, enveloped in a soft, romantic glow that made for an intimate dining experience. For my appetizer, I savored the fig bruschetta, which featured perfectly toasted bread topped with a delightful combination of sweet figs and creamy cheese, drizzled with a balsamic reduction. For the main course, I indulged in the seafood risotto, creamy and rich, filled with perfectly cooked shrimp and scallops that melted in your mouth. To enhance the meal, I chose a selection from the red wine flight. Each glass offered a new layer of complexity that beautifully complemented the dishes.

A fantastic experience for me at this lovely winery. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. The 60 min. wine tasting of 5 different bottles was truly outstanding and for only $30 per person. My favorite dish is the lemon and shrimp tortillini pasta. Will be back as a satisfied customer.

Had a pleasant time for a quick dessert at Rancho Capistrano Winery. Great outdoor seating with heaters, guitar player with some mellow tunes and some delish mango sorbet. Tried the mixed flight to taste a few wines, the Rose was delish!

A bit shocked at the prices but the experience was a good one. The fig bruschetta is delicious, the whipped Gorgonzola really takes it next level.Wines are ok - $14-17 per glass.Smoked Caesar salad was just alright, we wanted a light dinner and this fit the bill. Nice ambiance and hostess and servers were kind and welcoming.

I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner at Rancho Capistrano Winery in San Juan Capistrano. The ambiance of the winery is beautiful and the soft romantic lighting in the patio area was perfect for our large party of 50 plus guests. Michele, the event manager, was very helpful all along the way. She provided guidance to help select a delicious buffet dinner, answered any questions I had leading up to the rehearsal dinner, and was at our event to help set up beforehand and oversee everything throughout the night. Michele and the entire staff were exceptional. They were warm and welcoming and made the entire evening flow so smoothly. Prior to the event, the bride and groom scheduled a wine tasting and selected the Bella Chardonnay and Remington Tempranillo. Both wines are excellent! The Guerrero and Mushroom Truffle Flatbreads were served as appetizers and were full of flavor. The buffet was outstanding, featuring the RCW Cowboy Steak, Chicken Rollatini, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Vegetables, and a House Salad. Every dish was packed with flavor and truly delicious.All the guests were very complimentary of the evening, and it was the perfect venue to celebrate the night before the wedding with family and friends. Special thanks to Michele and the staff at Rancho Capistrano Winery for helping to make the celebration so special. I highly recommend hosting an event here.

Looking for a weekend (or during the week) outdoor easy relaxing atmosphere- try RCW in SJC. Great patio - nice live music (not too loud, perfect volume). Highly recommend trying the newly added Deconstructed Burrata Caprese, it's delicious. Add a glass of the new Cabernet - El Capitan or Mariposa Chardonnay.
