Rance's Chicago Pizza

Rance's Chicago Pizza is an award winning spot serving up some amazing Chicago style pizzas and more! This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a nice welcoming setup with about 7-8 tables for seating. Wifey was really wanting some Chicago style pizza for dinner so we knew we had to stop by. For their menu, they have a bunch of different appetizers, base pizzas, and speciality pizzas. We opted to get the Deep Dish Pizza with Pepperoni and Pineapple. Every bite was delicious and it definitely satisfied wifey's craving! Overall, this spot is definitely a must try for those wanting a Chicago style pizza or just for all pizza lovers in general. Keep in mind that the pizzas are made fresh to order so depending on which one you choose, it could take up to about 15-30 minutes for it to cook. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back next time for some more good eats! There is a reason why this spot has over 1,000+ positive reviews!

Rance's Chicago Pizza in Costa Mesa is pretty average--your typical strip mall pizza, based out of Long Beach and tried to make Costa Mesa work. I've tried the pan, deep dish, and thin crust, and honestly, nothing really stands out. The only reason I keep giving it a shot is because side side of the family in the area doesn't have the most refined palate, and, unlike me, they're not Italian--their roots are in the Midwest.... Guess Chicago is there, but this doesn't match either. That said, I'll give credit where it's due. Their wings are solid (though pricey for the portion), they actually serve homemade ranch, decent salad, and their staff is attentive and on point. Overall, I'd rate it 3 stars. But if I were spending my own money, I'd pass. Then again, that's OC for you--dominated by national chains, where the food scene can be pretty underwhelming, they have zero Michelin stars for a reason.

Tried this place for the first time. We just happened to have seen it on the food channel a week ago. We happened to be in the area so, we gave it a go. I love pizza. Therefore, when I say this pizza was absolutely AMAZING, IT IS!!!We ordered the House Special Deep Dish and added pepperoni "To Go." We arrived early to sit and wait for the pizza. It takes about 45 minutes. In the meantime, we had a couple of beers and ordered the Maple Bacon Bourbon Wings. WHOA!!! I had never had anything like that before and they were super delicious! The staff were exemplary!!! Super nice and welcoming. This place had a very nice chill vibe. I totally recommend this establishment!!PS. You have to order your deep dish pizza stuffed! You will get the full experience of this pizza!!!

Picked up a notable Stuffed Crust Pizza to take home. Perfect dinner on a rainy night. The pizza was compared to Zachary's in another review so I had to make a special trip to try it while I'm in the OC. Yes- did not disappoint!! It takes a while to bake a heavyweight like this but the buttery crust and the crushed tomatoes as a topper make it worth the hassle of parking on 2nd!! We ordered a Medium for 2 so we would have leftovers. As you can see in the picture, it is very generous and the pepperoni, sausage, onions and fresh basil were strong enough flavors to come through that wonderful tomato topping. The restaurant itself looks like a great place to sit awhile and enjoy your pizza with some friends and beers. I ordered over the phone and they were very helpful and had my pizza ready when I arrived. Rance's checks all the boxes for an epic Pizza Experience!

I typically go to the Rance's office on 2nd Street in Long Beach. The food is awesome at both locations. The difference I noticed is that a lot of people get their pizza to go. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant for small or fairly large groups. Service was great. I recommend all Rance's locations.

Best pizza in town. Not cheap but worth the wait. A pie will last you several days. It's hard to not go all the time.

This place is a fun stop when you have a hankering for deep dish (don't we all?)Nothing fancy in this very casual and too bright pizzeria but the staff is helpful and cheery as they help you decide from the delicious choices for your pizza. I tried the stuffed pizza again and it was not bad. I got it with sausage, green peppers, and onions.They have some of the best wings around, so big and juicy. They have a constantly rotating selection of craft beers on tap.

Got to try the best seller, the bmb wings, and the garlic cheesy sticks and they were all so good!!! Aaron, the owner, and the staff were all so lovely and accommodating as well. Would definitely come back!
