R-Ranch Markets

This place is in a decent sized plaza and stumbled upon the market when I was searching for a supermarket to grab an energy drink. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the market and most items looked organized and fully stocked. Upon entering, there are some pastries and baked good on the left hand side of the store selling items such as conchas and galletas. There's a bakery with premade cakes (and varieties of tres leches) as well as a hot food area. There was a special for pupusas revueltas and I decided to give it a try as I was already in the market. The pupusas were fairly large in size and 1 pupusa could easily be for an individual lunch. Pupusas were priced about $3+ per pupusa, as the price of two pupusas came out to just under $8. The salsa and curtido that came with the order was also a nice pairing. Service was real great and both the hot food counter associate and the cashier were real patient with me even though I did not speak Spanish. For example, the lady who made my pupusas made sure to ask if I wanted salsa on the side as well as utensils with my take out.I can't say much for the variety of products in the market as I'm not familiar with Hispanic cuisine and ingredients, but the produce section neighboring the hot food area/bakery looked appealing and the prices seemed relatively low compared to a mainstream grocery store. I had also purchased a single Buñuelo from the bakery area that was nearly the size of my head and it was less than $1. Cool market, nice selection from the bakery/hot food section (from my perspective), and the associates are friendly and welcoming.

The market is So expensive for non quality food. We also bought popusas and they were salty! **Edit: Despite my past experiences I decided to give this store a try again and - if I could the cashiers are rude not friendly at all and if you speak to them in English is like they get bothered and expect u to translate in Spanish for them. Avoid this store!

Great customer service. Their bolillo tastes great when fresh and warm which is most of the time. I think wednsdays they have specials on the fruit and vegetable section. Almost forgot they sell some good pupusas th

customer sevice is very bad , i went in on sunday i wanted a shake , i even showed her what i wanted , she said u dont speak spanish , im not helping u , she went on to go Help the other people just left me standing there , i was so shocked , im like wow it shouldn't matter what color u are , but i guess it sure does , by this store

I have lived next to this market for over a year and I really wished this market was better. I keep giving them second chances and I keep getting let down. I would suggest staying away from beef and chicken every time I take some home it usually smells bad and it's kinda pricey -1 . The ready made food is garbage and very expensive. I tried the ceviche and the tamale -.The ceviche you could tell was old by the color of the vegetables were turning a different color and the tamale was soo dry and disgusting. Today I bought a watermelon, in my head they at least have to have decent produce, I was wrong took that bad boy home, cut it open and it was a weird green color with the consistency of jello-. It's a dirty ass store with even worse customer service how does this place stay in business -. I would suggest going down the street to stater bro's or Northgate. I have given them many chances throughout the year and I'm going to take my business elsewhere.

Muy mal servicio en el departamento de comida, pedi un croissant y con toda la flojera del mundo me dise la señora "hay no tenemos asta como en 2hrs" luego le pedi pancakes y me dise "ay si pero eso es muy tardado" muy flojas las señoras que estan ayi, llevo 25mins esperando y ni mis bebidas me an dado, luego vi que la señora se fue al area de pasteles a platicar con otra empleada osea hello y mi orden? Luego vi asu "ayudante" ir a uno de los isles a agarrar la harina de los pancakes, y ya havian pasado 15mins o mas que habia ordenado y era la unica clienta en el momento esperando y nada, muy mal servicio, eviten esta tienda y mas si van a pedir licuados o comida preparada.

Pretty pricey for their products you can definitely buy cheaper at Walmart or other stores. Good customer service every time I've gone in. Meat definitely does not look fresh.
