R&B Tea

I love this place! The food and drinks are top-notch and the space is much bigger - and cuter than it appears outside. I used to pass by all the time and didn't think much of the shop, until someone recommended I stop in and I took that advice. When I went in, I was greeted with this gorgeous wish tree filled with hearts. I even got to sit in the table underneath in one time, which was really magical.I've gotten the garlic noodles, which were incredible, and the Jasmine Green Tea with house cream, one of the popular drinks is popular with good reason -- it's so good! I've gone back since then and gotten a coffee and it's also really good.

Its nice to see another boba place in orange. This location is big and clean and I was able to study for a bit here. It took me forever to decide what to get. Wasn't sure if I wanted milk tea or coffee. I eventually settled on milk tea because they can't screw that up. Although my drink looks good, it was just normal tasting. It tasted like typical milk tea and nothing crazy special. Im willing to stop by again to try other items, but I am not dying to do so.

Steep Thoughts: Florence's Quest for (Her) Perfect Black Milk TeaBlack milk tea: 1/2. I got the Classic Milk Tea, 50% ice, 50% sweet. The drink is pleasant, with a milky and slightly caramelly flavor. It's appropriately sweet but is a little watery, and the tea flavor is lighter than I usually prefer.Other drinks: 1/1. Nice mix of tea and non-tea drinks, with smoothies and coffee drinks available as well. This shop has a lot of Vietnamese fusion snacks and entrees as well.Ambiance: 0.5/1. It's bigger on the inside! Decor is pleasant. No WiFi for customers that I saw. It's located in Orange Circle (Old Town Orange), so expect to park on the street or use the free parking garage on the other side of the roundabout if you don't mind a bit of a walk.Service: 1/1. Order at the counter. This location is overall more suited for sit-down meals, but drinks are still picked up at the counter. My drink came out reasonably fast.Total: 3.5/5

I had high hopes for this place since it had really good reviews here, but was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Egg Pudding (instead of Boba) and got the Milk Milk Milk Milk with Egg Pudding. My hopeful self thought maybe it was still sweet but when I tasted it, all I tasted was milk and egg pudding. It was pretty sad. I wasn't alone. I came with a group and many of us got the same disappointment. Some of us also got Crystal Boba substituted without notifying us because they ran out of regular Boba. Who makes substitutions without asking? Also, I ordered their plain fries and it was below mediocre. I asked for the Cajun seasoning on the side and that didn't help the flavor or the texture at all. On top of that, they were pretty stingy with the amount of ketchup they provide even when I went back to ask for more.Additionally, the girl at cash register seemed lost and flustered. It didn't help with any of the other things going on and it didn't make asking for assistance or remaking the drinks any more comfortable. There was a guy in the back that saw me when I went up to ask for more ketchup and did not acknowledge me other than the awkward eye contact. Their customer service needs some work.The only reasons they are getting three stars are 1) because it was nicely decorated and clean in there, 2) because they were open late on a Sunday night, and 3) because they did fix the drink of someone else in my party. But with a group that ordered something in excess of 8 drinks, it is awkward for a customer to ask them to remake all those drinks. They should make it right the first time.

We always pass by this place when attempting to find parking at the circle. Well we finally went in and was pleasantly surprised. We really liked the decor and vibes of the place.I loved that there are so many food options and not just boba. I am actually not a fan and only venture in boba spots for the popcorn chicken.As you could guess I ordered the popcorn chicken and it was good, I kinda wished it was a bit crispier.We also got the crispy egg rolls and fresh spring rolls to snack on. The egg rolls would have been better with the Vietnamese fish sauce in my opinion.I just got a plain black coffee and that was great, the wife is lactose and some of the drinks can't be customized because they're premixed so that was a huge bummer.Over all a great little spot and we would come visit again to try other foods.

was craving some popcorn chicken so decided to stop by, they came out to almost $10 which is a little overpriced imo. i also got the taro stormy with boba, i've been to other r&b locations so i have a reference as to how their taro stormy tastes like. however, for some reason this location has the worst boba drinks out of all other r&b locations. for some reason, my drink tasted like honeydew (no taro taste whatsoever) which leads me to believe that they either don't wash their blender or they use less taro powder so their ratio is off. their boba is way too soft and bland too. it's also supposed to have a nice creamy taste to it bc of the cheese cream but i somehow couldn't taste it at all. wouldn't recommend!

Popcorn fried chicken with rice is so good and it also came with a lot of serving. The calamari was fair, but it was too thin and bland for my liking. It's too thin that I can just mostly taste the breading. The Tom yum is too spicy for my liking, even tho I ordered for a non-spicy one. Also got fruit tea which was really good. Ambiance is good, plenty of students working on their laptops. Street parking could be a little tricky

This is my favorite boba spot in orange. They used to have such cute lids with the cat ears. I always get their frosty ones. The atmosphere of the place is really cute and peaceful also

R&B Tea is such a cute and welcoming spot! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by this beautiful tree adorned with strings of paper hearts, and it immediately catches your eye. It's such a charming touch, and I couldn't stop admiring it.The employees are extremely nice and helpful. They go out of their way to answer all of your questions and explain the different drink options, which is really helpful if you're new to boba or trying something different.As for the drinks--delicious! The boba has a great texture, and the quality of their drinks really stands out. They have a ton of different flavors that you can choose from.

First time at this boba store and when you walk in, you are a but in awe seeing the tree and the cleanliness of the seating area. The ambience gives you a forestry feeling and able to sit and relax and enjoy what you order whether it is drinks or snack type foods. I ordered the Mango dragon fruit green tea and another one with cheese cream, and both with 50% sugar. The service was quick , but then again, it wasn't really busy. Both drinks tasty good, but even with 50% of sugar, the mango dragon fruit green tea with cheese cream was still pretty sweet. It was good though. Will come again if I am ever in this area again.
