Extreme close up of the meats. The asada had a lot of pepper and reminded me of the gravy from KFC

My daughter has been in search for her new taco spot since her local fav closed down and I believe she has found it. This is the 4th day in a row that she has legit begged me to get her. Service is great, especially Jorge who is super friendly and helpful... very welcoming. Located across the street from Mr D in Placentia where pickup stinks is at. - Burritos are huge and come with lightly friend tortilla, rice, cheese, beans and your choice of meat. - Tripas is unique for us as we do not see it often but it they do it perfectly here- Pollo is very flavorful and not as boring as one would think, very well done here- Adobada is similar to Al Pastor - Pork Belly has a very strong charred bbq taste that I personally enjoyCan't wait to come try the other meats at our new favorite taqueria!

Pretty goodHad chicken and steak tacos and thought they were pretty good. To their credit, both had good flavor and nothing was dried out. They also give a solid portion of meat on each taco. My biggest dislike was the amount of grease/cooking oil on the steak. One taco was soaked and looked like I dipped it in something- I could literally wring out the oil from the tortillas. I have no idea if this was a one time thing or if it's how their tacos usually are, but it was unpleasant. That aside, like I mentioned, flavor was good and they have a big salsa/topping bar. It's a good option for the area and I'll definitely be back to try other meats. Hopefully with less oil.

Normally I don't complain- but this time I am. I ordered a filet migon bowl. I was eating when I offered some to my husband when I noticed there was shrimp in my filet migon bowl! MY HUSBAND IS ALLERGIC! I am deeply disappointed that Primecut keeps messing with the inaccurate wait times for the food, how the food is handled, and the lack of being aware. This could have been serious if I would have given my husband a bite. I'm letting you know you should seriously read all these comments and fix these issues. Highly disappointed.

We did not order this but they charged for that. After we told them that they refunded this but this is why I personally would like the receipt even though some places ask you if you need receipt or not.Their food was not bad, although the service was pretty slow. I guess it was so crowded and that's why.

It's basically Tacos Los Cholos rebranded under a different name and with a cleaner, friendlier aesthetic. There's another location in Huntington Beach and I know opening a business called Tacos Los Cholos over there would not last long, but Primecut Taqueria sounds like a USDA approved fast casual taco eatery. Literally found this place by typing in "Lunch" in the search bar for Yelp and this was one of the top places listed. They are located 2 doors down from Bodhi Leaf Coffee which means parking will suck. I already know this place needs to move to a bigger location just from my experience today. You can find more parking on the north west side of the strip mall by the bank. Inside it has a small dining area with lots of seating, but I predict it won't be enough in about a month or two once the word is OUT. I was there during the lunch hour and it was packed with no place to sit and locals just having a leisurely chat even though they finished their food a while ago. I ordered my food via their website and was quoted a wait time of 15 minutes. Arrived 15 minutes later, there was a line to order and no sign for online pick-up orders. There's a microphone on the other end of the counter but no one manning it. I checked in at the register and waited another 10 minutes with other patrons for my order. I checked out the salsa bar, same salsas as Tacos Los Cholos. They also have agua frescas and bottled beer. I ordered their nachos and it allowed me to select from a list of meats at no additional cost so I got asada and adobada. Cost with tax was around $17 which is standard pricing for good nachos in O.C. They don't skimp on the meat at all and I will say, I usually can only find nachos like that in the mom and pop Mexican food places in Santa Ana, Riverside, L.A. (you get it), but they had it here in Placentia which is convenient. The chips are the thicker ones that don't go soggy within 5 minutes of getting your order (Cafe Rio) and the beans were good. My only issue is they used a lot of pepper on the carne asada. It almost tasted like I was eating the gravy from Kentucky Fried Chicken and I don't know if the excess pepper was on purpose or an oversight, but other than that, solid box of nachos. So yes, I prefer Tacos Los Cholos because the meat is primo quality and flavor is 10/10 every single time, at both the Anaheim and Fullerton locations. This place has the same exact grill that they use at Tacos Los Cholos in their kitchen, meat is excellent, the portion size is on par with really good Mexican food spots, it's just the overuse of pepper for me. You should really stop going to Chipotle and start coming here.

Mmm i will say that this is probably the best authentic taco place within a 20 minute radius... However its still not the best . It is fast service and pretty decent size meat portions for the price tag. But the flavors are definitely lacking . My asada burrito was a solid 6/10 because the asada was pretty salty. The potato wasn't fully done so it wasn't as soft as it should be. It was almost kind of crunchy and also lacking pretty much any flavor besides the meat. Solid 5/10. Ambience was nice, very comfortable seating and very clean restaurant!

Looking for a premium taco spot? Look no further! This spot has plenty of different cuts of meat and are priced pretty well.I've been here twice now, once for take-out and once dining in.I've had their Asada, Adobada, Arrachera Tacos. My favorites are definitely their asada and arrachera cuts. The adobada is good but it's a bit saltier than the rest. The salsa bar is amazing. From mild to extra spicy flavors, there's everything for everyone. The mild green salsa, medium red salsa, and their very spicy green salsa are my three favorites by far. I've tried their extremely spicy salsas and they're good but not for the weak. The salsa bar also has fresh cilantro, onions, cucumbers, radish, limes, and pickled onions.Sure, you're paying more for your premium and prime cuts but everything is well worth it. The portions here are amazing and you'll get a bang for your buck, guaranteed!Make sure to bring cash because if you pay with card, you pay an extra 4%! (There's a little hidden disclaimer at the front door and the cashier has brought it up both times I've been there)

Seriously the best taco shop within a 10 mile radius of my house. Order in 3 steps:1) Pick your food2) Choose your protein (upgrade charge for premium/prime meats depends on item ordered - see "choose food" menu pic)3) Select sides/drinksAfter paying, you will get a number, and a runner will bring the food directly to your table. I ordered the massive loaded papa ($13) and upgraded to costilla (rib meat) for an additional $4.25. The bark and flavor were perfect, and the melted cheeses in the potato arrived partially gooey inside yet crisp underneath the skin . Absolute perfection. I have a huge appetite but could only finish half. My husband tried the arrachera, tripa, chorizo, and asada ($3 base charge each). They were all fantastic except the chorizo. Neither of us cared for the mix of spices in this one. The self-serve salsa bar was stocked with mild to medium salsas and a variety of veggies. Beer, soda, water, agua fresca, and hard seltzers were available for purchase. The restaurant was super tiny and crowded at dinner time, so we had no option but to sit outside in the cold. One hit of that habanero salsa warmed us up quickly, though! The food was so delicious - honestly, I could eat here every week. Next time I'll avoid the dinner rush by coming in earlier.

We stopped by on the weekend for a dinner. The menu is pretty simple in choosing your protein and entree style with a choice to sides. The place is pretty clean and organized. The staff were helpful and friendly. There seems to be ample inside seating. We got the carne asada burrito and the adobada burrito. The burritos are huge! It's filled with rice, meat, onions, and beans. The meat is broken into small chunks. The best part of this place is the salsa bar! It has all the sides you could ever want with pickled onions, cilantro, raw onions, relishes, and spicy sauce ranging from mild to extra spicy.

Came on a Saturday night and this place was poppin! I've tried the HB location before and loved the premium quality of the meats, the huge portions, and this new spot had just that!We ordered takeout for the family and got the mexican pizza, adobada tacos, and asada fries. We were going for quantity over quality this time around so we didn't get any of the premium meats (prime/ribeye/etc.) but we were still super impressed with the taste of our orders! There's a lot of seating here but got packed with some football playoff games on. Hopefully they have some kind of deal during the weekdays for Taco Tuesdays and would love to stop by for high quality meats at a value!
