We were in Little Saigon and decided to try a pho spot we haven't tried before. They had their own shared parking lot with decent amount of parking on the weekend. The restaurant was busy, but still had a few empty tables during lunch time. We ordered a pho tai sach, vermicelli, and a rice plate with pork. Pho: the broth was very flavorful and delicious. I ordered a large to share with my 5 year old, and found portions good. Vermicelli: the egg roll was so flaky and crispy! Portion was good and the pork had a nice lemongrass flavor. Rice plate with pork, shredded pork, and egg loaf: we got a good amount of protein with the rice. The charbroiled beef was well seasoned and not dry. The food came very quickly, and service was friendly and helpful.

Pho is perfect in all seasons, but it's especially comforting on a cold winter evening. The order:PhoVietnamese iced coffeeCom Tam The good:They're open fairly late, which makes it a great spot for a warm meal after a long day. Service is fast, even for large parties, so you won't be waiting long. The Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and well-made--definitely a highlight. The prices are reasonable, making it an affordable option for bigger families. The soup dishes stood out the most--rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The bad:The rice dishes didn't impress me as much as the soups. Stick to Pho

Great place to stop by for a quick fix of delicious Pho! The soup was very flavorful and came with lots of meat! The noodles texture was made perfectly!I got the rice dish and it was good, but the Pho was definitely the best!!Very quick service. Clean restaurant. Would recommend this Pho spot!

This is my second visit to Pho-54 (which usually requires an extended lunch), and I had a slightly disappointing experience that might make me reconsider returning. The restaurant had an extension area, a converted outdoor patio to provide additional seatings. The area was lined with live plants (e.g., Jade Plants). The restaurant seems outdated but we're here for the food and not writing for AD-magazine. The owner/staff were nice and welcoming. Unless you speak Vietnamese, there was a light language barrier so pointing to the menu is preferred. We all ordered our usually pho or the vermicelli noodles, then another coworker and I decided to change it up and ordered rice places, instead of our usual and what a regret. The Pork Chop and Stir-fried Chicken rice plate. We asked the staff to add-on a fried egg on each plate. The noodles dishes were all perfect and great! The first shocker was my chicken plate was drenched in sauce and missing a fried egg. The correction was made with fried egg coming on separate plate on the side. It was so bad that I barely finish my meal. The pork chop was good but feedback from my coworker was the small portion does not measure up to the price-point.

Pho 54 is located about a block from Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley and are open until 12am midnight every day.We ordered the pho dac biet ($13) and the shrimp and pork spring rolls ($?). The pho broth was light and didn't have as strong of a flavor as other pho broths in the area. It tasted like it was made with chicken but I wasn't sure about that. I usually judge a place by its broth and while I normally finish all or most of it, this time I didn't care to drink more than I needed to. For the spring rolls, the pork was dry and just okay. Our total including tax was ~$27 so the rolls were about $10-12? Either we got ripped off or these were way overpriced for what they were. I probably should've asked but it also didn't help that we didn't get a receipt but instead just a total amount to pay.The good thing was that the food came out blazing fast in minutes but that was the end of it. They do take card but require a $20 minimum. Personally I think there are better places in the area.

Pro-tips: Super fast service if you're looking for a quick meal in a casual setting. They have chili oil if you ask for it.Highlights: Great value! I've never had so much protein in one bowl of pho before! Definitely feels like more meat than noodles. The che was good too, but not quite the style that I'm used to.Lowlights: They ran out of mint and basil leaves when we went, but they did give us extra bean sprouts when we asked for it. They also don't put out chili oil and other sauces that you might want so you do have to ask for it.

I especially loved: Thai Iced Tea Vietnamese Coffee I loved: Pho Ðặc Biệt I really liked: Pho Tại +This was my favorite Pho restaurant growing up and it still hits 20 years later $13 dollars for a bowl is insane value in this economy. The drinks are better than I remember, the Thai Iced Tea is the perfect level of sweetness and I really like how concentrated the Việt coffee is (way more than normal).Service is great but I'm also Vietnamese so maybe there's so inherent give because I speak the language. Not only did this place survive the pandemic, I don't think anything's actually changed about the place physically. Same booths and tables I will say that the restaurant does smell but is otherwise pretty clean.

Nice pho place. They got plenty of space inside and had a large group they entertained. They professionally managed. Their meals include a drink. I got a Thai tea with my Pho. Great combo and reasonably priced.

Simply put, this bowl of pho gets the job done!I ordered a small #1, and similar to every other bowl of pho: the broth warms your soul; the proteins & noodles satiate your body's craving for recovery after a rough night out; and lastly the toppings I added are fresh and vibrant. The only reason I gave this review 4 stars is because the pho doesn't strike me as unique in any way. It's just another great bowl of pho to me; which is actually a good thing!Mentally, I give almost all pho places 3 stars, but I decided to leave a yelp review on pho 54 because I think they deserve the recognition. Their service is what did it for me. As soon as I walked up they opened doors for me upon arrival and exit. On top of that, I felt like my food was fresh and ready before I even ordered it haha! So quick! They have indoor and outdoor seating. While the inside was cool, I wish I had sat outdoors because the lighting looked ideal for food photos haha! I'll have to update the photos next time I visit! Looking forward to that, thanks Pho 54 for being great!

I was impressed this place opens late- perfect for people who get off work/school late or are just late night eaters. The pho is decent for late night pho cravings. Their thit nuong for the com tam rice is pretty good however they can definitely make an improvement on making the cha(egg cake) which came out dry to taste. Their pho is cheap ranging from $11 to $13 and great for locals who have a late night pho craving. Their cha gio, which is their eggrolls, was fresh and came with a side of veggies (i got 2 big lettuce wraps and some mint/basil leaves, though I wish there was more lettuce or at least one more eggroll for the price of $11.50 as of October 2024) Service was quick and friendly, definitely good job keeping restrooms clean.
