Needed a quick bite to eat and Paul's definitely served.Food: Got the prosciutto sandwich and a coke zero. The last meal I wouldn't mind having if it was my very last meal on Earth. Sandwich was seasoned well but I just wish the bread was slightly more toasted. Everything else was great. Coke zero is coke zero, never any complaints there.Service: Service was great. Very quick, efficient, and the guy that took my order was friendly.Feels like a mix between a California deli and a New York deli. Great mixture of both. Parking wasn't hard to find either. Especially loved that they were playing pickleball tournaments on the TV. Overall, I'll definitely be back every so often if I'm in the area.

I was craving sandwiches, so my husband took me here to satisfy my craving. I ordered the 6" meatball sandwich with extra cheese, but it didn't come with the extra cheese--slightly disappointing. It also wasn't as saucy as I'd hoped, but still a solid meatball sandwich that hit the spot. My husband got the 6" Italian sandwich. The flavors were great, but he felt it could use a bit more shredded lettuce. The highlight was the hospitality from the owner, Paul. He was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made for great conversation. The ambiance had a classic mom-and-pop feel, decorated with soccer photos and trophy pictures.

This place gives me NYC deli vibes, the service is amazing and the turkey sandwich was one of the best I've ever had! Bread is perfect, turkey and cheese was fresh and the veggies and Italian dressing on top was Highly recommend this place!

Not a lot of places you get to interact with the owner. Paul welcomed us with a lot of enthusiasm and energy. You can tell he's proud of his business...respect! Wife was craving. Meatball sandwich and it did the job. I had the recommended Italian, both 1/2 subs and it felt like a full sub at other places. It was good. I like mine drenched in oil and vinegar so I should've asked but it was a nice balance of flavors. The meatball could use more sauce but (again we should've asked) but it was good nonetheless. We will be back. Great neighborhood sandwich spot we found.

Working in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. I had a hankering for a Meatball Sub or a Philly Cheesesteak, and it was suggested that I try their Meatball Sub, and that I also just order a "half", as they were huge. It came with toasted bun, plenty of cheese, but the meatballs were a little on the smaller side. Also, the sauce was a little garlicky, but still tasty. They did have some good deli-style "Dirty" brand chips in several flavors, which I enjoyed. The dining area is not the most modern or updated. There were four tables and four chairs at each table, but also a lot of stuff stored in the dining area. The kitchen work area is a little bit dark, there were panels missing over some of the lights, and the beverage refrigerators were only partially stocked (less than half full). Parking is easy in the large shopping center lot.I was a little surprised, as Yelp reviews for this place rave about the food and service, and I thought that it was quite average. Maybe I was in on an off day. I would stop in again when working in the area to give them another try.

Been meaning to try this place for awhile, but just isn't really on the way home for me. After today (2/27/25), I'll bubble out and around to get it. Got the beef dip as I try that or pastrami at every deli (if a deli can't get those right then they aren't a deli). Au Ju sauce was very good, and the sandwich had it in there already (think single dip at Phillipes). Meat was quality with plenty in it, and the bread was perfect for this sandwich. The upper half being a bit crunchy to dip. $13 for the regular, which was good sized (about 9 inches or more). In this day & age $13 is not expensive for a quality sub. I'd say the food was about 4.25 (and I'm a guy that doesn't give 5 stars or 10's for anything), but I give 5 stars because Mom & Pop shops like this need to stay around, owner is very funny, very friendly and just what you won't get at Subway or McDonald's....meaning a guy that cares about what he's charging you for!!! Can't wait to try mo

Paul's is your unassuming hole-in-the-wall deli that specializes in delicious Italian fare. When you first walk in, you can't help but take in all the boxing posters and signed autograph collections hanging from the walls. The menu is displayed on those retro fluorescent lights, and it is absolutely a no-frills type of deli. Very reminiscent of NY style delis. They serve Italian sandwiches, pastrami sandwiches, and even pastas. We ordered a large Italian sub, and it was enough to feed two people. Absolutely loved the tang and kick of the banana peppers, and the bread was soft and crispy. The ratio of meat to shredded lettuce and veggies was perfect. Finally found our new local deli!

The reason they call it a deli is because it's DELICIOUS!If you want an American style sub sandwich and you're in Westminster, CA, then you have to try Paul's Deli.I've eaten the subs from here about four or five occasions. I have never been disappointed. I like the roast beef and the Paul's special. This deli is small and unassuming. The decor is ALL boxing related so that is pretty cool. The staff is super friendly. And they put pride in their craft...crafting a sub you can depend on. Paul's Deli....There just ain't no substitute!

On a Sunday morning, my brother invited me to try out Paul's Deli after attending church mass.Food - 5/5We ordered 1 chicken parmesan and 1 reuben sandwich along with 2 sodas. The sandwiches came out nice and hot. The chicken parmesan had the right amount of marina sauce with 2 large pieces of fried chicken culet and melted parmesan on top. The chicken parm sandwhich was hot, salty, and savory with a nice soft bread. While we enjoyed it, the chicken parm the sandwich lacked more of a texture, flavor experience. The reuben sandwich was my favorite. It was a nice hot sandwich filled with corned beef, sauerkraut, dressing and cheese. Just like the chicken parmesan, the bread to meat ratio is perfect. The flavor profile is salty, savory, which a combination of both soft texture from the meat and bread with crunch from the sauerkraut. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We also received 2 bowls of pasta on the house!Value - 4/5The total for 2 sandwiches and 2 sodas came out to be roughly 33-35 dollars. While on the more expensive side, we did leave full and satisfied. Service - 6/5, WOW!The service here is phenomenal! BIG SHOUT OUT TO JUNIOR! We were welcomed warmly into the restaurant and was spoken to like a friend. Junior gave us a nice recommendation of what sandwiches to order along with putting said order and having us pay after we eat. This is the first time we've ever experienced this kind of service at a sandwich shop. Junior's customer service BLEW OUR EXPECTATIONS AWAY!Ambiance - 1/5The restaurant is located on Goldenwest and Westminster, right behind the Pizza Hut and Popeye's. The parking lot is small and dirty. Sometimes you will find homeless people around. The setting of the restaurant itself was severely lacking. It was pretty dirty inside with the trashcan overflowing out. We can also see that the decor of the interiors haven't been dusted in awhile. I do recommend the restaurant to hire additional associates to help clean the restaurant.ConclusionPaul's Deli is a small hole-in-a-wall eatery that specializes in hot and cold deli sandwiches. The sandwiches are delicious, packed full of flavor at a slightly expensive price. Do expect to spend 10-20 dollars per person. The customer service is impeccable. Junior really does go out of his way to make his customers feel welcomed. One huge grip about this restaurant is that, it was very cluttered and dirty. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking this place out for great deli!
