The first time I was here, I thought everything was good. I was pretty impressed with their flagship variety XLB that they advertise. The truffle flavor was so good the first time.Came here recently again with friends and ordered a 10pc truffle, 10pc original, and 10pc salted egg XLB (yes, we may have gone overboard). We also ordered several other noodle entrees and the pan fried meat bun. I honestly wasn't as impressed this time around sadly. I don't recall the XLB skin to be on the thicker end, but it was thick and slightly too dried out. We could barely taste the salted egg in the XLB. The noodle I ordered (picture attached) tasted reaaaaally bland; there was very little flavor - and that's coming from someone who barely seasons her food in general. I was disappointed in ordering this. My sister ordered the Dan Dan noodle and was shocked it did not come with minced meat like the menu photo. As for the service, our server was quite disappointing. He took a long time to provide service and then at the end when my friend paid (she had to walk up to him to give him the card so he could close our tab), he gestured aggressively and pointed to the machine at the tipping screen and made my friend feel like she couldn't tip in peace. She said she has never experienced something like that and I've personally also never seen that sort of aggressive behavior to pressure someone to tip quickly. I don't know if he meant to make anyone feel that way, but that's how it came across. We never got any water refills, I had to drink water out of my husband's cup towards the end of the meal, sadge. We went at dinner time on a weekend, so there was definitely a wait. The restaurant was full of customers even at 9pm.I think overall, I probably prefer DTF more than here.

Heard a lot about this place, a lot of social media posts and the place is generally pretty crowded when every time we visit the mall so you would think it must be pretty good? It wasn't.We're all comparing this place to Din Tai Fung, right? It's weird how the staff pretend like they've never heard of it and have never been there. Really strange. The menu and vibe is pretty much a carbon copy. You have the window with people making XLB, all the same dumpling and bun options, it's a copycat restaurant but the food is worse. We ordered three different XLB (traditional, szechuan, and cheese) hot and sour soup, fried rice with shredded pork and chicken wontons in chili oil. The soup and fried rice was your traditional fare, it was good, nothing to write home about. The wontons were gross and had this distinct weird flavor which would be a theme throughout the meal. The XLB gets it's own paragraph, because that's "what they're known for". On the surface different flavor options are unique compared to DTF and have the potential to really set Paradise Dynasty apart from them, but they aren't good, not even the traditional ones, so that makes it that much worse. All three XLB options had a funky taste that was really unpleasant. Some of the bites had fatty or hard pieces of pork, something we never experience at DTF. The szechuan and cheese XLB had their own distinct bad flavors, they were really terrible and we each only had one before giving up on them. I really just don't think the flavor thing works on top of the bad pork filling. Our server, Miles, to his credit did try to understand what wasn't working for us, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Everything just tasted off, almost spoiled or like feet? The only thing I could think of in retrospect is that everything on the menu has the shellfish allergen warning and that is due to the use of oyster sauce, which I cannot say I've had before or is in any other dumpling dish I've had before. We were not offered any type of comp for the bad food, no manager came over, nothing that you would expect for a restaurant that gives off a high end vibe, just a "sorry you didn't like it". Miles did bring us a mango pudding which was pretty good, but still not enough for this expensive meal. There is zero chance we will come back, I'd rather wait two hours in line at DTF across the mall than be seated here.

PARADISE DYNASTY HAS AN AMAZING HAIR HOUR!!!I'd heard mixed reviews of PD, but we decided to give it a try. We just do happened to stop in when they were having happy hour, which was such a pleasant surprise!!!Service here was really good- everyone was friendly and they were extremely accommodating. We ordered XLB, noodles, and fried rice. The crab XLB were very good- so good we came back again a few days later to get them again (lol)!Everything else was solid. Everything here has a slightly Singaporean influence to it, so the taste is slightly different from the save dishes you'll get at a Chinese restaurant. But everything was good and the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and calm. I loved that it wasn't hectic, loud or rushed. With their Happy Hour menu, there's no excuse to not stop by and give them a try!

We had a great experience with Paradise Dynasty! Jabin was an awesome waiter! He made fun conversation with us and I really enjoyed the food again. The OC restaurant week course meal was awesome and I'm so happy I got to try it all out! The food was delicious as always. My favorite is always getting to try the different flavors of the International Flavored Dumplings! I also really like the wood ear appetizer. I finally got to try the famous radish pastry and it did not disappoint with its flaky shell and soft filling. Loved it! Thanks for a great experience at Paradise Dynasty and great job to Jabin for making our experience more fun!

I had heard many good things about Paradise Dynasty and finally got to dine here with my family. We made reservations for lunch and didn't wait too long after checking in for our table to be ready. The menu features traditional Singapore cuisine as well as innovative specialties. We ordered plenty of the classic dishes to share, and everything was delicious. Prices are reasonable for most of the items, and it's a nice treat once in a while. A few of my favorites.- The XLBs (Dynasty Original and Szechuan) - Wontons in Chili Oil are all flavorful with a hint of heat- Fried Rice dishes (we had the fried pork and chicken)- Fried Pork Chop has the light crispy shell and tender meat inside. - Pan-fried Kurobuta Pork Dumplings- Stir-fried French Bean w/ Minced Pork- Purple Rain cocktail is a sake-based cocktail with dragon fruit that's light on the alcohol and refreshing. - The Panda Chocolate Lava Buns were cute and fun to eat. Be careful of the chocolate lava which can ooze out quickly when bitten. The drink menu offers many options, including specialty cocktails, spirits, sake, and more. Happy Hour, which runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., offers excellent prices and plenty of items. The noodle soups look good, too, and I hope to try them next time. The service was excellent. Jabin was our main server, and he was energetic, kind, and attentive. There are plenty of tables to accommodate many patrons and bar seating to enjoy kitchen views. I can't wait to dine here again, try more of the menu, and enjoy my favorites.

Went to their happy hour and it was amazing. What is better than 40% off and $2.99 drinks? Even though I'm just in town visiting I'm making sure I get to go again before I leave. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff was awesome! I definitely recommend!
