My first time here and it was amazing!!! I got the strawberry waffles and it was bomb!! The service was amazing, I didn't get the name of my waiter but he was really nice and accommodating. The ambiance was super cool and I really liked the outside and inside dining options.

Always something comforting about diner food! This place did not disappoint. There were so many things I wanted to try, but had to narrow it down to one thing. I ended up getting the crab & avocado omelette with a side of biscuits & gravy. So good! The portions are pretty decent. I ended up eating half there and taking the rest home. So, if you're in the area, definitely give it a try!

I came here with a friend who grew up in San Pedro and would go here often. It's popular among locals (the guy next to me has been going here for 30 years!). Service was friendly but unfortunately slow. My friend says they are usually fast, so maybe it was just an off day for them, probably short staffed that day. I had a good, simple breakfast which consisted of hot Louisiana sausage with eggs, plus biscuit with gravy. It was very tasty and filling. Overall it was a decent brunch experience.

One of my favorite local breakfast diners, service is always great when you think your going to have to wave someone down to get your coffee refilled check your cup before asking because it might have been filled already!lol seriously there that good always asking if you need more coffee. It's all locals so the vibe is always hard working blue collar workers or retired folks. The reason for my review is why the change in chairs and tables, it seems over crowded now with the big bulky tables and chairs, not a fan at all, there's no room on the tables to even order extra sides. One more thing why we're hash browns removed from the menu? Hash browns are like a must for breakfast. If it works y change it???

This place is always good, no matter what you get. Saturday and Sunday mornings get really busy. But there is a reason why. Great food and great service.

This place makes me feel like I am living in a story book town, small, friendly, with Star Hallow vibes. If you know what Star Hollow is then you are a G.O.A.T . If you do not, then you better ask somebody!Pacific Diner is close to me, less than a 5 minute ride from here. The staff is great.I want to shout out two people: Amanda and Ebony. First, Amanda is a fun-loving sprite-light given human form. You entered the joint and she demands attention, like an haute couture garbed starlet attending the Grammys. Except that Amanda does not wear Dolce or Khors, she wears exaggerated Christmas earrings, hats, maybe rings. I love that she embraces the festive spirit of the holiday with restrain abandon. I just love anything or anyone that makes me smile on sight! So thank you Amanda for being a daily reminder to smile!Ebony just has some spicy flavor to her that is welcome, joyous, and always induces giggles. (I snap my fingers- they begin in my chest and take a trip across to an arm's length destination). That description is how I honor her flavor! The food is sublime--- true American comfort food that embraces Mexican flavors, for a real California twist. Cause you know--- there is such a thing as Californian-Mexican cuisine. If not, there should be, but I am sure there is. Maybe I just got the name wrong.I have been twice and both times I got biscuits with gravy. The last time I went, I tried the biscuits with a burger patty. As soon as the Patty was set down, I smelled the gorgeous meat. Sometimes I like my meat simple. And hamburger meet is a classic for the ages. I put a biscuit slabbed with grabby on my plate: the patty, the potatoes, the eggs, topped with Strawberry Jam from Smucker's packet made the plate sang a rustic,, home-down carol. Maybe like the Devil Wear Down to Georgia looking for a soul to steal. I like that song a lot! I like my plate a lot. They have salsas, Pico De Gallo, hot sauces, all the accustomed necessities to layer a country breakfast to perfection! Two weird things. 1) My friend brought me ice coffee both times he and I went. So I did not try the coffee. And coffee can be a break or make moment for down-home diners. But I severely doubt that- like really doubt- that their java is so disappointing that I won't go. I would just take ice coffee then like I have been doing. Wait did the universe plan the brought coffee to spare me from this joint's coffee? Sorry overthinking, I am returning to the task at hand. They have eggs Benedict or a version of them. The standard is to serve them with scramble eggs as opposed to the traditional poached eggs. Go figure! This place is great--- go, you'll be happily satisfied!

This place has been here forever. It is a local institution of sorts. Food portions seem to have slightly declined but that's fine. Keep it comin.'
