Service was a bit slow but the food was solid. My friends kept noting how the first worker we came in contact with seemed a little grumpy. The restaurant is clean but I felt like it was a little dark for breakfast. I have nothing against this place and thought it was solid, just not my cup of tea. Loco moco was good. The chorizo fries was my favorite. The scramble was alright. All in all we spent something like $65? Which isn't too bad at all.

Sam, I don't know who you are and you most certainly did not stop by and say hello or have a conversation with us. But wow, you have such a professional way of responding to customers. The person who approached us didn't even come to our table, she approached midway, 2 tables from us with coffee pot in hand and said "I really need that table, we have people waiting" . No thanks for coming in, no sorry for needed the table, no nothing. You could take more of your husband's personality and good service instead of your crass attitude. We were rudely asked to leave our table because they had other guest waiting. We had been seated for an hour and 15 minutes, and waited 25 minutes for our table. The large party of 10 sat before us, had breakfast before us - were they ask to leave as well? Who ever the woman is - be it owner, manager, relative, food server - she has the worst customer service and we have always looked beyond her because we loved this place. I am sorry you were closing in an hour and half, sorry people were willing to wait just like we did. Maybe one more thing to add to the outdoor board is a time limit per table? We have been going here for 3 years at least 1-2 a month sometimes 3 visiting our son at Fullerton. Onward for another local breakfast place. Wish them well.

Before you visit this place, please read the reviews with 1 star. Pretty much all of them are about their bad service at the restaurant. Later I found out that this restaurant is run by a family, typical mom and pop small business, but what they charge is a premium price that I paid 132 bucks including 2 drinks before tip for 4 people. Oh, the price you see on the menu is for Cash paying customer, if you pay with credit card, then there is a fee. Let's talk about their service, first of all this place isn't huge, but there are people waiting and way too many tables inside that the servers can't handle. Be aware of the lady who claims to be the owner's wife or gf, if you express anything bad such as the orders taking too long or something, then she will try to teach you with an attitude that they are not a fast food restaurant. But her voice was very High School teach like or a cop with authoritative voice. I suddenly felt that I am back in the school again. lol. While I was visiting there, I've seen two other groups complaining too, maybe with different issues. There are still many people running a service business should know where the money come from. The restaurant maybe busy and the owner makes some money right now, but not for long with this attitude to their customers. Will know someday that the word of mouth is very powerful. especially for a local mom and pop business like this.

A pleasant surprise from this quaint little place that popped up on Yelp as we searched for a random brunch spot on a Sunday morning. The service was top notch and wait staff made our first visit a memorable one by highly recommending we sample the French toast, which turned out to be the best recommendation as it surpassed any other French toast we ever had. The chilaquiles were crispy and super flavorful (both sauces) and the fingerling potatoes were solid. Flavors for each were perfect as nothing was over or under seasoned. There was a minor accident when a utensil fell on me as our table was being cleared, but staff came to the rescue quickly with soda water to treat any stains. Despite this, still remarkable service. Definitely coming back and looking forward to the Brea location.

The foooood!!!! 10/10 I got a loco moco over the spam fried rice and on the bed of veggies was so good it felt like an upscale version of a regular loco moco. My sister got the French toast and it was amazing we just shared both to have a sweet and savory breakfast. We always see it with a huge line while we box and finally today we went early enough to beat the crowd. The service was pretty good, the staff is friendly. Feels like a family place & Ambiance was very home like.

Our Mom friend group met at Our Nest for our quarterly get together. Highly recommend you come around opening time on weekends because the place is popular. We were seated right away and our server took our drink orders while we perused the menu. Lots of choices, I decided to order the Campfire French toast. OMG.. make sure you have an appetite because it is huge, especially if you get the bacon and eggs to make it a combo. It was so good start your new year's diet after you eat here. It's a great neighborhood place for great eats.

Have visited a couple times and am mildly disappointed by the eggs Benedict every time. The service and presentation here is great, but unfortunately, they are not experts in hollandaise sauce.

My wife & I have been here 10+ times and the food is amazing, service is incredible, and the owners are awesome. Hands down BEST chilaquiles I've ever had. The French Toast is BOMB and my parents always ask you come here when they are town. If you're thinking about trying this place, stop reading and get in your car & fill up your belly.
