Oriental Chinese cuisine

Oriental Chinese Cuisine is located off of Kraemer and Yorba Linda Blvd. It is easy to locate and access. Parking is plentiful. The inside is clean and the space is maximized without overcrowding. The front of the restaurant was mainly attended by one server but she was on top of keeping everyone happy with drink refills and any other requests. Although we came in during the peak of the lunch rush, our food came out pretty quickly and piping hot. A complementary bowl of fried wonton skins and sweet & sour sauce are set out for each table. I went with the Mongolian Beef lunch special which also comes with choice of soup, steamed or fried rice, and a spring roll. The beef was beautifully seasoned with a good ratio of meat to vegetables. There was actually enough leftover for me to take home with me for a late afternoon snack. There were a few other items on the menu that I'd like to try, so I'll definitely be back.

A bad cold always gives me the craving for spicy Chinese food to help clear my sinuses. I haven't gotten food from here in a while so I decided to call in a to-go order. The whole shopping center where it is was recently renovated and the exterior is all new. I feel like the inside has been cleaned up as well. There is another restaurant next door, but in the evening most of the other businesses are closed so parking is no problem.The last time I called in a to-go order, I remember arriving and there were many people also waiting for to-go orders and I had to wait almost 30 minutes for my food. This time there were three other people waiting ahead of me, but in under five minutes they all got their food, and mine came out only a few minutes later so things were running a lot smoother this time.The pan fried potstickers were good and come with a generous serving size of eight. Why get only one container of hot and sour soup when you can get two for only a few dollars more? The Kung Pao shrimp was also good. There were a lot of shrimp and the veggies were nice and crisp. The soup and shrimp were both more mild than usual for a regular order at a Chinese restaurant. After the fact I saw that their menu says you can order the spicy dishes mild, medium, or spicy. I would think it would be medium by default but I feel like mine was mild. I'll be sure to specify medium next time as this order didn't do much for my cold.I'll keep OCC in the Chinese restaurant rotation.

Oriental Chinese Cuisine sang so many notes of authentic Chinese food!!! I can't wait to go back again. The vibe is more along the lines of your traditional Chinese food restaurant with long family tables and booths. The docor is nice and calming, and there is plenty of space ro park in this little plaza area. The service was outstanding. Everyone was nice and brought out the food in a timely manner. We had more than one server, so it was nice to consistent check in. So there was this restaurant Chinese family went to before I was born. I went there growing up, and the food was amazing. Eventually, they changed ownership, and the restaurant lost its heart.... Oriental Chinese cuisine.... brought back that level of authentic Chinese food and more. I had egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, and eggrolls. we also got some. I think tangerine chicken and several other dishes. None of them disappointed they were all distinct in flavors and amazing to taste. I'll definitely be back for more of the soup for sure!!! It was sooooo gooood.

Fantastic lunch. Kung pao beef tender and delicious. Fried rice is great also. Lunch special came with wonderful hot and sour soup and crispy delicious egg rolls as well. My daughter enjoyed the broccoli beef lunch special. 10/10 for service, ease of ordering online, order ready on time as promised and lots of happy customers dining in. Happy Chinese New Year!

I love this place so much! This is our new go-to Chinese spot. I can't recommend the Cream Cheese Wontons enough!! We got the Orange tofu, Crispy Noodles with vegetables, and also Calamari. Everything was so good. The servers were both incredibly friendly and attentive. Lots of people in and out getting their to-go orders. That's how you know it's good. I can't wait to come back here.

Such delicious Chinese food.. NO MSG.. service is amazing always so cheerful and helpful.. the orange chicken is soo good and they have great lunch specials with a generous helping I always have leftovers! Highly recommend

Been wanting to get for a long time. Finally did tonight. Delicious food. Great flavors, piping hot. The Kung Pao Chicken is top notch. And my favorite plate I had tonight. So many more dishes I can't wait to try. And bring an appetite! Large portions. I walked in at just about 5 on a Friday night to order take out. Was ready within a half hour. The staff is soooo friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Nice little spot we ran into while we were in Placentia today. The decor was nice. Has a more modern twist to it but they need to work on the upkeep a little more. People were friendly and very welcoming. Food came out pretty fast too. Everything was fresh and delicious. If we are in the area again in the future I wouldn't mind stopping by here again!

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. It's located in a corner of a nice strip mall. Service is friendly and quick. Food is well above average. Prices are very reasonable.

Delicious fresh food!!! The Honey Walnut Shrimp was the best I ever had!!! And the Orange Beef was fork tender, delicious!! We also had the House crispy noodles and Snow Pea Beef! Everything was excellent! Best Chinese Food in the entire area!! Service was excellent! Plan on waiting a bit for food, because it doesn't sit in bins!! It's cooked to order!! Casual inside, Family owned. Loved it!!
