This place had to be the most uninviting liquor store I've ever been to. It was dark, dusty and a lot the stuff was expired. Well, I heard it was under new ownership and I stopped by and wow!!!! It's not the same place, this is what a liquor store is supposed be like. Now there's a beer cave, along with huge selection of spirits, wine and mixers. The floors are new, the lighting is updated as well as the shelving and fixtures. Lastly the pricing is now consistent and competitive specially for the convenience of the location. And the staff is friendly and helpful and if they don't have something you want just ask and they'll try to get it for you. You'd walk in for a can of coke and a bag of chips and they would try and charge you 10 bucks. I'm so happy that this place finally has a new owner. He's awesome and does everything he can to accommodate his customers. My mom would always get a diet 7up for her cocktails but they didn't have it at first. When I ran into the owner I mentioned that it would be awesome if they would start carrying diet 7up. A week later I went in there and he remembered me and said "hey we got diet 7up for you." Came back for my third visit to Orange Hill Liquor & am amazed at how wonderful a job the staff & new management does at making it an enjoyable experience. I don't even want to call it a liquor store because so many other liquor stores have a bad name or bad reputation. Orange hill is more of a boutique shop that has GREAT SERVICE, GREAT SELECTION, & GREAT PRICES. I love a place like this that you can feel comfortable browsing & that cares about making the environment enjoyable for its customers. This time I stayed for over an hour browsing the shop & chatting w/ MJ, who is the sweetest lady. She made me feel welcome & we chatted for quite a bit while I pondered what to pick up. Then she introduced me to the owner, Sam, who was a great guy & you could tell how much he cared about, not only the shop, but the people who came in & the surrounding community. I ended up picking up a bottle of Stagg 23A & was pumped to add it to the collection. Thanks again to MJ & Sam. Much appreciated for another great experience & can't wait to be back.
