The owner here is the most humble and friendliest of humans. His prices are very fair. The butchers speak Spanish and English and have a great sense of humor. Jasmine makes me want to come back every time. The premises are very clean and the quality of the meat is the best that I've seen.

Can't say enough about this place really. I come here to get my goat meat. My parents are both Ilocano and growing up my Father used to make Kilawin Kambing. First off, goat meat can be hard to purchase at a regular Asian grocery store. Second, the quality can be so unpredictable. It can either be gamey, uncleaned, and tough. Plus the pricing can be quite expensive. I had never been to a Halal grocery store before I started coming to Orange Grove. When I first purchased my first goat meat here and brought it home, you could instantly tell the difference. No gaminess at all, tender, fairly priced, and above all- super fresh! The staff here is also so friendly and helpful every time I come. Because of that, I have made this my go to place for all meat purchases.

Every time we drove to Rowland Heights on Harbor Blvd. the Mrs. always used to wonder about what kind of market this place was. This past Sunday we finally decided to stop here. It is a really good meat market that also has a variety of Desi stuff to purchase. The owner (Mohammed?) was the butcher on duty. He was so polite in his interaction. He was asking how we would like our meat cut, and was offering recommendation on which cut would have more meat, instead of bones, etc. We took his recommendation and got Goat Leg thinly cut. The meat could not have been any fresher! He chopped the meat from an unfrozen goat. There were several patrons waiting ahead of us. It took a good 15 minute to get to our order. We checked out the other offerings they had like Atta, Rice, Spices, etc. during our wait. Cashier was also a very polite young gentleman. You should check this market out guys. This could be a one stop shop for all your desi kitchen needs. P.S: Since the meat was not frozen, we immediately marinated the meat and prepared goat curry and goat Biriyani. Taste on the dishes was farrrrr superior to anything we had purchased and cooked previously. We are attributing it to the freshness factor of the meat, no doubt.Review # 1, 2022.

Good selection of halal products. You can find whatever you need here from halal ramen noodles to halal meets and frozen goods. They have a sign offering food for anyone who is hungry showing their true Islamic nature. Alhamdullilah this place is wonderful.

The owner Mohammed is a very nice guy I went in to look at some meat and buy some snacks on my drive home and when I was at the checkout he gave me the items that I was going to buy for free. I'm coming back because of how nice he was to me and he showed me the different cuts of meat and the meat smelled so fresh. Whenever I want to buy meat this will be my go to spot.

This little family owned market is a must if you are looking for fresh farm raised lamb and goods from India. The owner was one of the most welcoming people that I have met it quite a long time. Well worth a visit!
