I am not even a waffle person, but I eat the waffles here! The pumpkin waffles and pecan waffles are my favorites! What I love is that they're not super thick and the sweetness is just right. I've always turned away from waffles that are overly sweet and then topped with more sweet (syrup, whipped cream, and everything else) The service is great. The coffee (vanilla coffee for me) is delicious, and the place is clean and cozy. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in San Pedro for sure!

Sadly, the waffle was mushy, the biscuit was bready and the eggs were OK. We liked the orange juice. The service was good....

We have a tendency to come back to businesses where we have experienced thee best of a busy atmosphere and great service. The room was full of chatter, folks reminiscing with their company on the day of our visit. Kimberly, took care of Us and well just about the entire restaurant. She was so kind, answered all our questions regarding things on menu. While spreading herself to assit others tables. I had never seen her there up until today. I kindly asked her how long she had been employed thier, I wanted to praise her work. So this ententire Review is myself appreciating Kimberly.

I came here for the first time during the pandemic and I swear the banana waffles tasted better then. I finally went back today to have my bf try them and idk they weren't bad but they didn't taste like the first time I had them. :( was a little disappointed we drove 30 min for breakfast today. Service was good , they offered us coffee refills which was nice but the food was 5/10 I don't think I would make the drive again. I'm sorry

Nice cozy dinner on the corner of Gaffey and 11st., with plenty of parking in the backYou can enjoy eating on the patio or enjoy your meal inside, being that it was busy on a Sunday morning, the wait time was within 5 min!The staff is moving andgrooving! and if you enjoy coffee, they keep your cup full and it is full of flavor! Even Leslie the owner is filling cups and making sure everyone is enjoying their meals! The menu has so much variety! We chose the carne asada with eggs and the spinach, mushroom, and avocado omlette, which both were fresh and cooked to perfection! Will come again to enjoy more of the wonderful food here.

My wife and I have always been on a hunt for good brunch places. She's the bruncher and I'm the tag along guy. During the time I lived in San Pedro with her I found this cute spot where the vibe of the place is perfect. Every server had the best service. The spots are comfy and food is pretty darn great too. I don't know what their secret sauce is other than the whole place is a secret sauce. While I don't live in San Pedro anymore, I come back to this place no matter how far I live

Before I was a Yelper, I was a High School student. And this place has been a spot to go since those years. Had an extra 5 bucks, let us make something happen at the Omelette and Waffle. Even if we split a blueberry muffin, the point is to be in a place that served comfort and traditional dishes done in quiet and rustic elegance. Of course, traditional can also have a twist or a wink of the modern. For instance, at the Omelette and Waffle you can get a stack of silver dollar pancakes- a clear throwback to the times of before, but at the Omelette and Waffle you can also get a Mexican Omelette, which is not a clear example of food from yesteryears- when tv's screens had no color- but it is an example of what is typical and traditional now. At least I think. We might need Philosophers to help us set clear expectations of what traditional versus modern in today's America's, which will be Trump or Harri's America in the matter of months. The Omelette and Waffle Shop is a greasy-spoon. To be exact, a greasy spoon is generally defined as such,"a small restaurant that is usually affordable and primarily serves foods that are considered to be greasy, such as fried foods". So says a quick Google, and so say I. Maybe it is just me, but the term greasy spoon carries a hint of a derogatory connotation. I mean, who wants to eat with a greasy spoon. But this place makes me happy to be a consumer of greasy spoon food especially when it is simple but done right. And the Omelette and Waffle just does that--- it takes simple ingredients and makes them sing an ode to the olden days when salt, pepper, and accompanying ingredients made food soar. This place does no embrace the sous vide machine, it does not boasts micro greens, or plate with delicacy so that plates look like a Monet or Picasso, it just put good fare on the plates!!! When they make a mistake they hasten to amend. Their cup of coffee is strong. They make a great cheese and waffle bacon. I fold turkey sausage into homefries. I can go on with my list of my favorites. There is plenty for all. This place is always packed on the weekends. I went there when it was Covid. I went there when I was young. I go there now when-- I am not---- young This place awaits all, and has food for days, to please, to soften, to enjoy! If you long for a brunch plates to impress the Gram--- then maybe this place lacks. But no place is perfect!Go here and step back to the days of the past, where Waffles from the griddle were Sunday's best, while enjoying the trims and graces of the present day and moment!

My dad came into town for the day visiting the San Pedro area. He loves traditional waffles (not Belgian). This place did not disappoint. Once we came in we were immediately seated and the waitress came right away. I had the pecan waffle while may dad had the regular. We both enjoyed our food and experience here. On the way out we met one of the owners, Mona. She was very sweet and asked us how we were and if we like the food. One thing I appreciate is great customer service as well as caring people. It's hard to find now days. If you're ever in the area give this place a try you won't regret it.
