I've come here a few times already and the vibe is always right. It's so lively with all the conversations happening around. My friend and I decided to sit and eat at the bar as we didn't reserve a time. Normally we do, which is best to do in my opinion. I ordered the calamari, roasted tomato soup and their seasonal drink the Chocolate Espresso Martini. Everything hit the spot as always. Never disappoints. Food always fresh and snells so good. Got us dancing in our seats!

Back again. Love this place . Calamari with their amazing slaw was delicious but the mushroom burger was the best I've ever had. Topped it all off with a perfect espresso martini for desert. Service continues to be outstanding and the view, well what's better than the pacific? Made reservations to come back on our way out the door.

TLDR; good food with a perfect view and aesthetic of a beach style restaurant, with delicious cocktails.Overall this restaurant is perfect for a lunch date with family or friends- reasonably priced and located across the street from Laguna beach. Go up the stairs next to Gina's to access. Our waitress was so friendly and kind and remember our orders perfectly (I wish I remembered her name)! She was also the bar tender and hustling between helping patrons at the bar and our table.Drinks- 4.5/5We tried a variety of cocktails and martinis which were perfect in flavor and balance of alcohol to additives (purées or sweeteners). They also have a secret menu from their IG where you can get additional cocktails depending on the server Food- 4/5Perfect portions, packed with flavor this did not disappoint especially with the variety we got.The skillet is small but very dense and the pesto is delicious here too. The oak burger was so filling and massive but could have used a touch more seasoning.Make sure to get the garlic truffle fries, a simple classic but so tasty. The desserts are also good but the vanilla ice cream had an extra flavor that differed from most vanilla ice cream that wasn't as complimentary as it should be.Service- 4/5Our waitress was great, so kind and did a great job at placing our ordered and remembering our drink profiles. I do wish the food runner/assitant refilled our water a little more frequently during our visit, as we had to ask once or twice.Vibe- 4.5/5Perfect ambiance and ocean air swept the building even for a winter dayThe only thing that hinders this is the occasional motorcycles going down PCH which can be loud from time to time during conversationOverall would recommend and will be back for future visits

I had a fabulous Sunday brunch here! I got the loaded bloody Mary, which was delicious and had so many fun toppings on it! I also tried the short rib Chilaquiles. They were flavorful and the meat was tender. But the star of the show was the Berry pancakes with the Tres leches sauce on it. Those pancakes were the best pancakes I have ever had! The food here is really good and pretty reasonably priced . I was surprised this place wasn't more packed. They even had live music on Sunday and if you sit in the patio, you can have an ocean view. I cannot wait to go back.

Oak is one of my top brunch spots in Laguna Beach. Everything about this place is delightful: stunning views, great ambiance, delicious food, and friendly service. We first visited Oak to celebrate a friend's birthday and were impressed by their selection of shareable appetizers and charcuterie board. We've returned several times after beach trips and keep coming back for more. What really sets Oak apart is its kid-friendly atmosphere. They offer a kids' menu, toys, and a welcoming space that even the pickiest eaters will love. The menu boasts a variety of savory and sweet options. Personal favorites include the clam chowder, tacos, and French toast (which I order every time I return!).Overall, Oak is a must-visit for brunch in Laguna Beach. We can't wait to come back!"

Ambience and food were fine but the service was a disappointment. My wife set up a surprise bday here with a couple close friends/family. The waiter didn't keep our waters full we were constantly flagging people down. He did not tell us his name. The waiter also did not tell us about any of the specials. So once we ordered a couple of us noticed there were other options we had to call back the waiter and change our orders. Once we got the food no one came to ask how we're doing once . I ordered the special which was advertised as surf and turf with steak and scallops. I was served steak and lobster and no one even noticed, no scallops. Next time we will ask for someone else to serve us.

I would give this spot 3.5 stars if I could. I made a reservation for 4 on a Tuesday at 5:30. This place didn't really get busy at all which is nice if you don't want to go somewhere crowded! It was a relaxed vibe. Our server was really really great! She was attentive and answered all the questions we had. She made us feel very comfortable. She was very cutesy, very demure, very mindful. I had the ahi tuna tacos and the chopped salad. They were both pleasant but nothing really stuck out about them. The tuna tacos had a crispy shell and the tuna was soft and tender. I didn't love it with the cucumber in it - it was very crunchy and lacking flavor. I think if it had avocado instead it would complement it better! The chopped salad had good elements in it but wasn't anything I'd remember. The br'oak'ie was moist, sweet & tasty! I really enjoyed this.

Came for some late night bites and a drink. They have some outside bar seating that was nice to get a view and some fresh air at the end of the day. I had the ahi tuna tacos and the sweet and spicy ribs. The tacos were fresh and flavorful, the jicama was a nice added crunch. The ribs were small but you got a pretty nice size stack. Juicy and fell off the bone easily with a fork and knife if you're not looking to dive in. The drinks were tasty I had the lemon and lavender martini and pineapple vibes cocktails. The martini was a bit on the sweet side, good but the meringue topping had some added sweetness. The pineapple vibes was a good balance of a spicy sweet combo. Overall good but a little on the pricey side. It is also pretty far down on south coast so I would say it's more of a destination that there isn't much to do in the area after you eat. Parking is located under the building. Easiest to enter off of Glenneyre Street. The restaurant will validate for the first 2 hours just ask the hostess.
