Great lunch at Oak Creek Grill today! In a measure of pre-pandemic to post-pandemic, I have to say the Reuben Sandwich and Fries I had today has not lost a beat - simply outstanding!!!Everyone else who I was with loved their burgers, poke bowls, and ahi!Great to have Oak Creek back!

So, I was looking for place that I haven't been to for a good burger. I found this place on Yelp, so I decided to have dinner here tonight. It's located inside the Oak Creek golf course. The burger and fries are very good. The portion of the fries and burger is huge. It's definitely enough for for 2 people. It's probably why it cost $24.00+ (soda included), so with tip it'll cost you $30.00. So when you look at the old pictures of the menu add at least another $5.00 for the current prices. I got there about 6:30pm and I was literally the only person in the cafe. A party of 4 was just leaving. But from the time I ordered to when I got my food, it took another 20 to 25 minutes...not sure what the cook was doing. The girl that serve me was attentive in the beginning but when she picked up my credit card to pay the bill she did not return UNTIL I got her attention to get my credit card back. She was busy talking to another worker who seems to be new. I couldn't help overhearing her, she was talking really loud and just talking up a storm. I could hear everything she was talking about...which was not good. Word of advice, be careful what you say and how loud you're talking...especially when there's no other background noise. So, with the crazy cost and the bad vibe I had experienced, I doubt i'll be returning here anytime soon.

Hidden freaking gem. My friends wanted to grab lunch and suggested Oak Creek. I told them most golf course restaurants are overpriced Denny's, so i would rather go anywhere else. They told me that Oak Creek actually had great food and it was nice weather for patio sittin. I begrudgingly agreed to go. Well, my experience here was top notch! Nabil gave us the list of specials for the day and showed us a quick peek of what the food looked like. Lobster Roll actually looked amazing, so I opted for that. So happy i ended up getting it... The Lobster Roll was fantastic! Plentiful lobster, good mayo and light lettuce on crispy buttered roll. One of my favorite Lobster Rolls to date. I know it doesn't sound like much, but lots of places mess this up. French Fries.... Battered, flavorful and super crunchy but soft on the inside. I loved them! Ask for Ranch, it's one of the yummiest Ranch dressings I've had, too! The manager and another server checked on us during our meal, we felt very looked after the whole time. Service, food and ambiance. They got it all... I can't wait to come back and check out new specials! Thanks for great experience Nabil!

How have I never eaten here before now?I work so close to the cafe... I can sneak through the back of the golf course... off the parking lot of my work... and be here in a quick 5 minute or less walk. Why did it take me SO long?I have always heard good things about the food here. I have to say, they were all correct!I have eaten here twice in the last two weeks with coworkers. The first time I had the Fairway Reuben with french fries. I am pretty picky about my corned beef, and this was a GOOD sandwich! I ate slowly, due to talking, so the second half did get a bit soggy but off the bread it was still delicious. The second time, today, I had the fish tacos and a cup of the tortilla soup. My only complaint was the soup could have been a little hotter, but everything was so good. The chips on the fish taco plate were fresh, and good! Good chips are hard to find, even at a mexican restaurant sometimes. The fish was fresh and the tacos are large and full of delicious garnish. They have a lot of flavor, and the lime served with them is just the perfect touch. I love a taco that doesnt drip, and these tacos dont drip. Too much water in the salsa, or whatever it is that makes them drip, and makes the tortillas soggy drives me nuts. There is none of that here! Both times I have walked here for lunch, it was just around 12 noon and there was no wait for a table. Both days there was a golf tournament though and the place was packed just below the cafe. It sounds like there are often tournaments here and quite the crowd lined up with their carts ready to start!I will definitely be back here, to try other items on their menu!

Located at the Oak Creek golf course.I was the only person in the place for breakfast on a weekday morning so service was predictably quick and cordial. Interior was nice; sort of a clubhouse feel with white cloth napkins at each table setting. There is also substantial outdoor seating.I ordered french toast with sides of bacon and a single scrambled egg.The french toast was made perfectly and had a faint hint of cinnamon to the taste. The bacon was good quality, thick and crispy. The egg was cooked perfectly too, not overdone at all. Even though I am not a ketchup-with-my-egg guy I appreciated that they provided a ramekin of it on the side. A very good breakfast yet nothing extraordinary other than the serene view. Which you pay a little more for.

I'd been wanting to come here for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner for the longest time, but it's never the first place I think about....till now. And just to clarify, they only serve breakfast, lunch, and happy hours.....no dinners. I was pretty excited as I actually thought about this place this time round as I just had trouble thinking where else my friend and I could possibly go for dinner, and that wasn't too crowded and noisy.I actually realized at the last minute that this place didn't serve dinners, but happy hour sounded good too.....and after having seen pictures and read others' reviews, I knew the setting and views of the golf course was going to be pretty awesome. So we arrived at around 5.30pm.....the parking lot was pretty full, but there were still many places to park. What a pretty setting this golf club is at....who would've though there was this much open space still available in this seemingly built up part of Irvine?! Anyway, the cafe is pretty easy to find as it's right near the parking lot....so in we went. Gosh, the place wasn't busy at all with just 2 or 3 tables occupied.....granted, the place is not huge, but I'd expected a very busy happy hour crowd by this time.....but thank goodness for the peace and quiet.....to enjoy some happy hour snacks, drinks, green golf course views, and good chats with friends. What I really liked was that it had that private club feel, even though this place is open to the public.....it was nice, quiet, and civilized .....and not rowdy like many other happy hour places. Perhaps we should keep this hidden gem the way it is.There's a bar here, but I think the one server who was working here took care of the bar guests as well as the table guests. We were told to sit anywhere and so we chose a nice table by the window looking out to the outdoor patio and golf course just beyond. The server brought us the happy hour menu and asked what we'd like to drink.....there isn't a huge selection of beers, cocktails, and wines, but we weren't planning on getting plastered this evening anyway, so a couple of red wines was all we needed.Taking a look at the happy hour menu, everything actually sounded really yummy....and all at $5 each.......including the drinks.....good deal! To start off, we ordered the calamari, blackened chicken quesadilla, southwest empanadas, ....and later on, the 2 fish tacos. Ok, this is no fine dining standard, but to go with a good alcoholic beverage, what we ordered was actually pretty yummy....we were particularly impressed with the fish tacos which actually tasted quite good. I really wished they would consider offering dinner here as this dining room would be so nice and comfortable to dine at with the fireplace lit on a cool winter evening. What's even better is the outdoor dining on the patio overlooking the gold course......now this would be so awesome if not for the hot summer afternoons right now.Next time I come back here it'll be for breakfast or lunch. The only thing I'm not sure about here is the dress code....I couldn't find anything on this, even from other reviewers.

I had the pleasure of enjoying valentines dinner here with my loved one. $49 per person for a four course meal seemed very reasonable to me! I had seen the menu prior and with the price it looked very promising! IT WAS just that and even more!Oyster with champagne - such a nice start to a romantic night.Beef papaya salad - amazing & delicious! Lobster hand role duo - delightful Grilled hanger steak - flawlessly cooked - still pink in the center & juicy - presentation looked immaculate Crispy duck breast - I was able to try a bite of my bf's dish and it was just as delicious Dessert trio - my favorite were the big strawberries! Can't forget a glass of pinot noir to tie it all together!Everything was elegant from start to end and I was very impressed! It wasn't too busy, which was surprising because with a menu like that I don't know who wouldn't want to spend an evening here. I would definitely recommend!

Located inside the Oak Creek Golf Club, this place is definitely nice. My friend and I came here after a nice round of golfing since we were both famish. I love the decor and ambiance. The place is very classy and clean. The service was outstanding which led me to become very excited for breakfast. I glanced at their menu before deciding to get the California Eggs Benedict. I'm a huge fan of eggs benedict in general so every chance I get I always get them every where I go for breakfast. It took not long before my dish was brought out and immediately I was impressed. I bit into it and knew immediately that this was one delicious meal. The eggs were amazingly cooked, the tomatoes were fresh and the sauce was heavenly and so flavorful. I love the texture of the whole dish. It got my energy up and left me completely satisfied and full. This was clearly a top 10 in terms of eggs benedict I've ever had. Overall this place is a solid place to grab some food after a nice day of golfing. The service is really nice. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is incredible. If I ever should return to Oak Creek, I definitely would return here again to grab some of their eggs benedict.

I have been a regular at Oak Creek Grill. Last week on September 4th I took 2 people to lunch and was very disappointed with the service. When we were sat down we had to wait to get menus and drink orders. I was about to get up and grab someone for help and we finally got our drink order in. I said we are ready to order and in a hurry. The waitress finally came over and I re-expressed we were in a hurry. No one really seemed to care. As we waited for our food, our drink glasses remained empty and we had to ask for re-fills. I had ice tea and was brought a diet coke. then when I noted the discrepancy I was then brought an Arnold Palmer...... close enough....... I just drank it as it had been so long. once the food arrived, I found the raw tuna to have a fishy smell and my gut felt off for the remainder of the day. after so many good lunches this one makes we question return visits.

For those who have missed it, the Oak Creek Grill has re-opened!! Currently with a limited menu as the staff gets up to speed, but the food is excellent and the staff - with many of the old-timers - is attentive and great. So excited to see their final menu once they are up and running, but even with the limited menu, the food was great. Sitting on the patio viewing the course is about as peaceful a working lunch as you can imagine. Please, please go visit and help get this place back as busy as it used to be and welcome them all back!
