Nuno Bros. Tortilleria & Taqueria

Kirsten loves their tacos, as do I. I grew up eating their takeout portions for family sizes. They still taste so delicious. They did not accept EBT/SNAP for food, which is where I wanted to buy masa to make tamales for my daughter. The masa was $2.50 per pound on 12/23/2024. This place has confusing names; inside it says Nuño Bros Market, but outside it says Nuño Bros Taqueria, so it's hard to find on Instagram and Google Maps.

The chorizo and egg burrito is comprised of egg, chorizo, beans, cheese, salsa verde, onions and cilantro. The chorizo is spicy and the delicious beans counter the heat. Excellent

I came to this location sometime last week around 4pm. I ordered 9 Tamales. (3 de pollo, 3 de puerco, and 3 de rajas). The chicken and pork tamales were good. The rajas tamales were ok. They did not taste as good as before. Employees are very friendly and helpful. I was told they have a new owner. They now have the menu on monitors. Place was clean during my visit. There was plenty of parking.

A little hole in the wall, gem of a place! Order the meat by the pound got the best deal. Their carne asada is outstanding! Cooked to perfection and has an amazing smoky taste. Staff is friendly too!

Spotted randomly on the way to Anaheim to an Angels game. Food was spectacular-I was just looking for something to tie me over so I went with chorizo taco and Asada taco. Tortilla was fresh, huge and fantastic. Asada was just ok but the chorizo was absolute fire. Hubby got the steak quesadillas which were massive for the price (8 bones) and delicious. Tons of outdoor seating on a Sunday at 2, plenty cool and comfy in the shade. Hit the bakery next door on your way out.

I always order the papas tacos. These are absolutely the best around and I love how many different sauces there are to choose from.

Great hole in the wall place to get tacos, fresh tortillas or just order meat by the pound! We really like the carne asada here. It has so much flavor and smokiness to it.

I wanted some fresh totillas for dinner. I was out and about and Yelp showed Nuno Bros. as the closest torilleria to my location. I figured "why not." I was not familiar with the neighborhood, but my maps app took me there no sweat.Nuno Bros is a small grocery with a very nice selection of torillas. They also have a butcher shop. I was pretty temped to get some meat while I was there, but I already had a bunch of meat waiting to be cooked at home. The meat selection is worth a look if you are in the store.I got my tortillas and some chips. They were very good and very reasonably priced.I don't know whether I will be back, but Nuno Bros is worth a stop if you are nearby and need tortillas, meat, or other ingredients for making Mexican food at home.

My dad had brought me tortas from this place before. So I decided to go myself and get dinner for me and the hubby. I got there at about 3, there was plenty of parking and I got to put in my order right away. Ordered a torta cubana and decided to try the lengua torta. The cashier was very helpful. I had asked for no tomato no onion on the lengua torta. While waiting I had noticed the guy making the torta accidentally put onion and tomato in it then realizing what he did and take them out. Was fine for me as long as it's not in there. But yea he left one behind and it ruined the rest of the torta for me. I wasn't a big fan of the lengua torta overall. I would next time stick to the cubana torta like my husband cuz that one by far is the best torta I've had. Will be trying other menu items as well.

Best carnitas ever. Everything is good. And the service is great too. Love this place.
